During the wedding planning process, we needed to postpone our wedding date from April 2021 to January 2022. Allison was so empathic during this challenging time, and I am so lucky her/her team were available for our new date. My wedding date also followed a huge snow storm (we received over a foot). This occurred the day before my wedding. I was so nervous about my bridal party, and vendors traveling on the road the following morning! Luckily, everyone got to my mother’s home safely, including Allsion and her team, who were ready to roll right away. From start to end, they effectively completed eleven hair, and make-up looks. Everyone was professional, and fun! We finished hair/make-up with plenty of time to spare. Everyone looked amazing and were highly satisfied with their looks. Overall, my favorite things about Allison’s company were: 1.) they provided both hair and make-up services, the prices were bundled into different packages to choose from; 2.) they provide services on location so you do not have to worry about traveling to a salon on the wedding day; and 3.) they are professional and positive. Lauren did everyone's make up; she was fast, efficient, and listened to what we asked for. The Pin Up Girl prices cannot be beat and includes application of fake eyelashes and airbrush make up. A lot of other companies charge extra for these. I am so thankful to Allison, Lauren, and Nicole for making us all feel beautiful and comfortable the day of my wedding!

t from the moment I contacted Allison, she was willing to work with me every step of the way. I chose the Pin Up Girl to contact because they had the best prices when it came to quality (yes, you can find cheaper hair/makeup options, but you get what you pay for!) The only time I was going to be in NJ before our wedding in May was in November on Black Friday and Allison was able to fit me in no problem! I contacted her a few weeks before the wedding to finalize services. Every time I contacted her leading up to the wedding, she replied back quickly! It was also no problem that we had a few changes to services along the way (adding a flower girl, taking a few bridesmaids off of hair styling). On the day of, she arrived exactly on time & fully prepared to get going! We had a morning wedding and needed to be done by 9:00am. She arrived at my hotel room by 6:00am and was done even earlier than 9. She brought Brielle & Marta with her, who were also very friendly & sociable. She even put on a fun playlist for us to listen to while she worked & kept up a conversation with everyone. I was worried about having all my bridesmaids, mother & flower girl all in my room at the same time, but Allison helped me work out what times to tell everyone to arrive & it worked out perfectly. Allison did my hair off of the style we tried for the trial run in November and it came out beautifully! Marta did my makeup & it turned out beautiful! She was awesome & I was comfortable the entire time. I will say to be careful if you plan on getting fake lashes. Mine started to come off in the inner corners of my eyes about an hour after Allison & her team left. I was a bit panicky about it because that didn’t happen during the trial (they had stayed on all day!) & none of the wedding festivities had even started yet. I suppose the glue that was used wasn’t strong enough because I hadn’t even left my room yet when I noticed it. One of my bridesmaids had lash glue with her, but it still didn’t hold very well. By the end of the reception, the lashes were basically completely coming off. Other than that, I was more than happy that I went with The Pin Up Girl and I’d recommend them to anyone! They are knowledgeable, skilled, personable & professional!

They were excellent and we received so many compliments throughout the night. Our makeup stayed on perfectly through the tears and sweat and everybody's hair was perfect!! The package included airbrush, lashes, and an updo. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

roblems, as my bridal comb from the florist was not what I envisioned. Allison quickly picked flowers from my mothers table arrangement and pinned them in my hair helping me to achieve the look that I was expecting with the comb. Crisis averted!! Phew!! so professional and contacted me to confirm all appointments and services as well as answered tons of my 2 am emails full of different hair and makeup ideas! LOL! She did my make-up and eyelash extensions for my engagement shoot and she rocked it! Like most brides, I do not get enough sleep with all of the late nite wedding projects and planning so I was concerned that I would have bags under my eyes and caked on makeup to cover facial imperfections in my pictures. I just received the proofs from our shoot and I have no bags and my makeup looks awesome! My photographer even took close-ups and commented on how fantastic my make-up looked!
