The Pine Tree Barn is a charming venue situated on 20 acres of pastoral land in rural Genesee County, MI. This rustic barn is constructed using white oak and pine with cedar siding. Invite your guests to join in your celebration in this warm and welcoming environment nestled in the heart of nature. With multiple ceremony sites on the property, you and your spouse can choose the perfect place to exchange vows, set to backdrops of rich greenery and unforgettable views. Whatever your style, this venue can be tailored to host a day that reflects you and your unique love story.
Say "I do" in one of the various ceremony sites the property boasts, taking in the tranquil pond or magnificent trees surrounding you. Perched on this sprawling land, the rustic barn has an inside area of 4,000 square feet that can accommodate parties of up to 200 attendees. The climate-controlled space is ideal for hosting celebrations year-round and is wheelchair accessible. With high-beamed ceilings and elegant chandelier lighting fixtures, the space presents an enchanting atmosphere for an evening of dining and dancing. Parking is available for those arriving by car, with attendants on hand to provide assistance upon arrival.
The Pine Tree Barn team strives to make your wedding experience as seamless as possible. They offer various packages from single day to full weekend rental for your event. You are welcome to bring in vendors of your choice to service the big day as you please, with recommendations available from the venue team if desired. If you would prefer, you may also avail yourself of a caterer of your choice who is welcome to add finishing touches to your meal in the venue's staging kitchen. Enjoy a day or weekend of love and laughter in this beautiful space.

m outdoors before moving indoors for the reception. Our wedding was in June, it wasn't too hot but the venue had AC when it did heat up during the reception. There was no shortage of photo op spots around the venue the property is stunning and would give great photos regardless of the season. Everyone complimented the venue on how nice it was, truly a hidden gem. The owner Jen was amazing and a HUGE help in the whole process of planning a wedding!! She is very communitive, answered any questions I had via email, text, or call. She even sent out reminders at certain times before the wedding to keep things in mind such as liability insurance, vendor recommendations, due dates etc. The day of the wedding she was there to answer my coordinators questions and help with anything we needed. The floor plan is pretty flexible to do with any size party and she had a lot of great table set ups to choose from. All of our other vendors only had great things to say about her. I always knew I wanted Pizza & BBQ for our dinner, which is never on in-house catering menus, so the fact outside catering was allowed was a huge plus! Affordability-wise it fit our budget very well with what I wanted in a venue. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. I cannot express enough how amazing our experience has been with Jen and The Pine Tree Barn it was everything I wanted for my wedding!!

the fall colors and stunning barn. We had our ceremony in the trees and it was breathtakingly beautiful with the string lights and white chairs. They just recently renovated the bathrooms, added extra lighting around the property and added a back patio space that we used for our cocktail hour. The venue owner Jen is absolutely amazing. She was so great at communicating with us with our loads of questions and keeping us up to date with multiple check-ins. She had tons of layouts for us to choose from for the reception space and was super helpful when it came to finalizing the layout. The Pine Tree Barn is a very beautiful place to host your wedding and Jen makes it so easy to plan an event. We would book there again in a heartbeat.

Honestly you do not need many decorations as the venue and surrounding trees and landscape speak for themselves. We had the final call on when everything would start as well as the final call on where the ceremony was held in the event of bad weather; which was a big selling point for me. The venue itself is just perfect, from the wooden beams & chandeliers to the pine tree filled woods surrounding it. nything you need. The space is very DIY. They supply the tables and chairs and you are free to do the rest! The weather was an absolute disaster on our wedding day (literally had tornado warnings at the wedding), but Jen made sure that everything was as perfect as it could be. She went out of her way to do anything we needed. Sadly, the ceremony space outside was completely flooded, therefore we had to get married inside. The guests sat at their dinner seats for the ceremony. It all worked out in the end and I could not have imaged getting married anywhere else!!

Pine Tree Barn, because its everything we wanted and then some. The ceremony sites, the reception area, the building, the light fixtures, the fire place, the bathrooms, the surrounding land, literally everything is stunning and meticulously clean/planned. It's not a huge venue but is perfect for weddings of 180 or less. It is the definition of intimate and romantic.
Now after doting on the venue, I need to talk about Jen. Jen is a saint. Honestly. She makes the process beyond easy. She is so so so responsive, helpful, professional, hardworking, kind, and easy going. I never had doubts about our wedding, and a large part of that is due to Jen. Our venue was the first thing we booked, and because of that a lot of the decor and other vendors were picked around that. Jen helped me every step of the way, with all the crazy questions/request I had. She went above and beyond times a million. Besides the barn, Jen works full time, and has a beautiful family. She is a super woman. I don't know how she does it all with so much patience and kindness.
Our wedding unfortunately had a couple of hiccups but instead of making me worry about that, Jen reassured me that everything would be ok. Many other vendors might have done differently and that in itself was a gift. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the night.
I will forever be grateful for finding the barn, and will have the most beautiful pictures/videos to look back on forever. Thank you Jen and family for absolutely everything.
