My flowers were one of my FAVORITE parts of my entire wedding! Kali was absolutely fabulous to work with! She helped me all along the way with ideas and colors and anything you could possibly imagine. Her rental inventory is AMAZING- so much to choose from. Love her work!

Kali at The Plantation Florist was amazing. She is friendly, helpful and puts together the most beautiful arrangements I have seen. I gave her inspiration pictures, filled out a questionnaire and she nailed it! Wouldn't recommend anyone else in the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area.

I strongly recommend Kali for your flower decorations. Being from out of town and having a wedding in south Louisiana I needed somebody that demonstrated experience and taste, and that was Kali. She not only did my wedding flower decorations but also helped with other minor decorations for my ceremony and reception. I had my wedding at Nottoway Plantation, and Kali knows the venue inside and out, which was a big plus, because once I gave her some ideas, she already knew how to turn the venue into a beautiful place. Now, it is important to mention your budget to her, otherwise she will do wonders but it will cost you. If your budget is clear, then she will make sure to use that and make the most out of it. Kali with the Plantation Florist is hands down a creative genius with a passion for people and flowers. It's rare to find a florist who truly cares as much as Kali. In fact, as a seasoned wedding photographer who has done countless weddings with Kali (including her own two children's weddings), I've witnessed firsthand how she personally hands the bouquet to each bride. She doesn't have an assistant drop them off in a box. No, she's there in person to witness the bride's reaction to her magnificent, timeless, elegant creation. Many times the bride is in tears which makes for a special photograph. Kali's work is so extremely photogenic I am blessed to work alongside her. She does so much more than weddings, as I've hired her to create a bouquet for my wife "just because" I love my wife. Thank you Kali for being a true artist in every sense of the word.

Kali came recommended through Nottoway Plantation, and has been working there for quite some time. I also held my wedding at Nottoway so it was great to have a florist who is very familiar with the venue and the staff. She knew exactly what I wanted, and was extremely helpful in finding ways to cut costs while giving me exactly what I wanted. She decorated my cake, made flowers to go in my hair, and did a scroll design with petals for the aisle. All of it was AMAZING and she did exactly what I had envisioned!! I was in love with my bouquet and the cake flowers especially!! She is a little hard to get in touch with (hence the four stars) with some unreturned phone calls and emails - and she comes across as a little disorganized - but overall she came through and did an absolutely fantastic job. Highly recommend her!

Mrs. Kali did all of my flowers for my wedding and she did an awesome job. Her prices were not bad and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I showed her a picture and she recreated it exactly as I wanted. She did my bridal portrait bouquet on very short notice and it was great. I wanted to tweak a few things and add some different flowers to my wedding bouquet and she was able to do it with no problem. A certain flower she ordered for my wedding bouquet was delivered to her wilted, so she had to use a fake one, but they looked amazing. She used very good quality flowers and delivered exactly what I wanted. I absolutely LOVED my wedding bouquet. She delivered all of my flowers timely and made sure I had everything I needed. She is very reliable and I would definitely recommend her to future brides!

I LOVED the flowers on my wedding day. The bouquets were exactly what I wanted, the quality of the flowers were amazing. She listened to what I wanted, worked with my style, colors and special requests and helped to make my wedding day just as special as I hoped it would be! :) Thank you for the amazing job you did!

Everything turned out fine. Flowers showed up and were not what I had expected or asked for. She did take my bouquet back and restyled it to more of my liking. Had also forgotten one of the bridesmaid's bouquets. The types/colors of flowers that I asked for were not used. It still looked pretty, just wasn't what I had actually intended.

Kali is one of the kindest people I met throughout this wedding planning process. She not only helped me design my flowers, but also helped me with making design decision for the ceremony and reception (which was a big help!). The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and just what I asked for. I wanted green roses and the ones she got in weren't green enough, so she even sprayed them for me so they would be the color I was going for. The day of the wedding she was such a big help! She didn't just drop off flowers in the dressing room, but made sure all the groomsmen got their bouttineres, and made sure the corsages got to the right owners. And she moved the ceremony flowers into the reception for us. She stayed around throughout the reception to help out as well. Truly wonderful service from beginning to end!

The flowers were absolutely amazing!! She knew exactly want I wanted and ran with it, and they turned out amazing. The only thing that I have a complaint about is the lack of communication up until we actually arrived at the plantation. She would tell me that she was available by phone or email. I would call and leave messages but never get a call back or an email. I finally asked my mom if she would handle it since I didn't have time to sit around and wait. She did communicate with my mom wonderfully. Not sure why she wouldn't communicate with me... However, the final product was outstanding!

Kali (The Plantation Florist at Nottoway Plantation) did the flowers for my wedding and I absolutely loved them. She is such a sweetheart and was the only florist I've met that actually listened to me instead of trying to rush through an appointment. She was very accesible every time I needed to ask her a question and got my vision completely. I shopped around a lot before contacting Kali because I assumed I would have to compromise if I used the on-site florist, but I was completely wrong. She's great at what she does!
