Perched on the second-floor tip of Seattle’s historic Pier 70, The Point at Pier 70 offers sweeping views of Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, downtown Seattle, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Over the years, Pier 70 has served as a warehouse, Coast Guard base, and later gained fame as the 1998 set of MTV’s The Real World: Seattle. Now, Landmark Event Co. is proud to usher this storied pier into its next chapter with The Point at Pier 70—an event space where history and modern design meet against a backdrop of unforgettable 360-degree waterfront views.

Jason Buffer
Venue Manager
Jason Buffer brings nearly two decades of experience in event sales, marketing, and operations to The Point at Pier 70. A Washington native raised in Enumclaw, Jason moved to New York City after high school to attend college, launching a career that would take him from the East Coast to Hawaii and back home to the Pacific Northwest.
After earning his degree in Communication Arts and Marketing in 2008, Jason found his calling in nightlife and event sales, quickly discovering a natural talent for booking and selling large-scale venues. He spent nine years as Director of Corporate Event Sales and Marketing at 230 Fifth, the largest rooftop bar and event space on the East Coast, before relocating to Honolulu to serve as Director of Events at the Hawaii Convention Center.
In September 2025, Jason returned to the Pacific Northwest. When he's not at The Point at Pier 70, you can find him cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks.

I honestly cannot sing enough praises for The Point at Pier 70 and the incredible Landmark team. We recently held our baby shower here...
for our twin girls, and to say it was "perfect" feels like an understatement and it was truly magical.
From the very first interaction to the final moments of the event, the level of care and professionalism was unmatched. Kateryna is an absolute gem. She is so incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. She didn't just help us plan an event, she also truly cared about our family and the celebration of our daughters. She made the entire process feel effortless and joyful.
Jason is amazing and so informative, detailed, and helpful, ensuring that every logistical detail was handled with precision. The entire operations and catering staff were flawless and the service was attentive, warm, and professional, and our guests haven't stopped raving about the experience.
It is rare to find a venue that combines such a stunning atmosphere with a team that feels like family. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was special.
