We instantly knew we made the right decision bringing in Leo of the Polished Portrait to our wedding team. Leo is efficient, knowledgeable, talented, and very easy to work with. During the photo portion of our wedding, he made my wife and I feel confident and kept it a light fun vibe. During the reception, Leo had faded Into the background in the best way possible. Have you ever been to a wedding when a photographer would do anything to get the shot including getting in the way of other guests? Well that’s not Leo! He was courteous and respectful to all the guests and picked his spots to get incredible shots. My wife and I would highly recommend him as an amazing photographer.

Leo was amazing! He made sure everyone felt comfortable while we were taking photos, walked us through his process (while also being able to adjust to our requests) and took photos we love. Leo photographed our engagement shoot and wedding. During our engagement shoot he made us feel so comfortable. He’s so kind and helpful, and after getting to know us a little, suggested poses that were natural and helped portray our relationship perfectly! Leo was hands down amazing! My fiancé and I did an engagement shoot prior to our wedding and we were so awkward in front of the camera. Leo made us feel so comfortable during that shoot, which helped a lot on our wedding day. He has a great eye for capturing the perfect angles and scenery. We did a first look offsite involving a short hike and Leo was game for the short hike to take the photos we desired. I am so beyond happy with how my wedding photos turned out thanks to Leo. I didn't have much of a vision in mind when I started speaking to Leo about photographs, but he helped me and my husband stage some of the most beautiful photos I could ever ask for. Leo photographed our wedding back in May 2021 and the results couldn't have been more perfect! He was great to deal with from the very beginning. He answered every question we had during the booking process and walked us through every step of the wedding in regards to how he would handle the shoot. During the wedding he was prompt and professional. He got all of the family and wedding party shots in record time which left plenty of room to get some amazing bride/groom photos throughout the day. He made sure to capture every moment as perfectly as it happened. The morning after the wedding we had received a few sample shots which just blew us away! Every photo went straight to friends, family, and social media. He kept us informed of his editing progress throughout the weeks that followed. The images were delivered right on time, as per the contract, and they were nothing short of spectacular. Once the photos were delivered he helped us to pick which ones we wanted for our wedding album (an add-on we asked for which was purchased through him directly). After a few weeks we received the album. Once we opened the box, our jaws dropped. It's so different seeing the images in print versus on screen. The album was so much more than we could have ever expected. For starters, it weighed a TON. Each page was basically its own thick board/foam core with the images printed directly on to them. The album itself was Linen covered (our choice) and came with specific care instructions and a protective bag. Overall, my wife and I can't recommend him enough for anyone looking for a wedding photographer. The experience was exceptional from start to finish, as were the images and the album. If you're reading this and still looking for a photographer, then stop now. You just found him!

Right from the beginning, we knew that Leo was our photographer. He was friendly, excited, and we could tell he was passionate about wedding photography. Not only was he helpful in helping us delegate a plan since Covid had impacted us financially, he was absolutely the sweetest person and wedding vendor we could’ve asked for. Wow, from the time I first inquired for more information to getting our previews Leo has been amazing. We had Leo do our engagement photos for us. He called us before our planned date, and learned about who we are and our preferences. We got our photos done at Mohonk Mountain House, and he met us there. He was early, and the whole time made us feel special. His creativity for poses, and his artistic eye is incredible. At Mohonk, he hiked around with us, and he was extremely personable. He made it not only a photoshoot, but an enjoyable experience. We had so much fun taking photos, he made us feel so special. He got us our previews very quickly, and each one was so beautiful. He really puts his heart into his career, and his passion shines through the whole process from the photoshoot to the finished photos. I would highly recommend the Polished Portrait to anyone looking for someone who is going to put their heart and soul into some of the special moments of your life. We absolutely loved Leo! We had the privilege of having him take both engagement and wedding photos and absolutely loved the work. He’s fun and professional but makes you feel very comfortable. Leo is so talented and amazing at what he does! He had a lot of patience with us girls during our getting ready shots and let us have fun with our creativity with some poses. He sent me a preview of 26 photos literally 3 days after the wedding and I was shocked! I was amazed! I was in awe! The photos were so beautiful and everyone who saw them said we looked like models! And for my fiancé and I who are awkward in front do the camera that’s a huge compliment! Leo was very kind, sweet and very discreet with getting photos during the ceremony and reception! Working with Leo was the best thing ever! My husband and I are very tense and we were so so nervous about our wedding pictures! But working with Leo made us feel so calm and relaxed, it felt like we’d known each other for years! When looking for a wedding photographer, what was the most important to us was someone who would capture us! We didn't want to look posed or fake, but wanted to be able to always look back at our wedding photos and see us! We were lucky enough to find Leo who helped us do just that. I looked over here reviews to find a photographer, so I know whoever is out there looking is doing the same. Well, look no further! We hired Leo for our originally scheduled wedding for Dec 2020. We decided to cancel that due to Covid and uncertainty. We actually moved our wedding up to July! Leo was so great with changes and making things work for us. Luckily, he had others making changes and the day we needed was open! We spoke on the phone only once before the day. (And he’s super easy to talk to). Day of he was there, early, and ready to go. He set us up to be where we needed for the best shots (it was a sunny day, so we needed som shade!). We had a small snafu in one location (needed a permit and I didn’t know) and I had another place in mind and he rolled with it and we all went to the other location and took some amazing shots! He is quick, easy going and knows exactly what he is doing. He got some beautiful family pics near our ceremony site and also during the ceremony. The pics really show how beautiful everything was that day. I feel like I’m reliving the day whenever I look at them! You will not be sorry if you pick Leo for your big day!

Leo is an extremely talented and creative photographer and is incredibly flexible, kind, and easy to work with. While searching for a wedding photographer, I stumbled upon Leo's portfolio and immediately fell in love with the colors, framing, and editing style of his photos. We ended up doing an engagement shoot in December, and despite the cold NYC weather, Leo pulled off a beautiful shoot and we had a great time getting to know him. Fast forward to this spring when we decided to reschedule our July wedding to next year due to COVID-19, Leo was one of the first vendors we coordinated with because we knew we couldn't settle for any other photographer. We then decided to have a small ceremony this year (taking the required safety precautions), and Leo was of course on board to capture our special day. Needless to say, the photos were gorgeous, and we can't wait to work with Leo again next year!

Leo was unbelievably helpful from start to finish. Leo met with us over the phone twice before our session to ensure we felt safe with all of the pandemic precautions, and to help us come up with a Plan b (and C, and D..) if COVID restrictions prevented us from our original idea. Leo was everything a wedding photographer should be and more! He has an amazing personality and is incredibly easy to work with. We had an engagement shoot with him where I used the photos to create a beautiful wedding guestbook. For our wedding photography he delivered way more photos than were promised, all fully edited. I received the photos about 12 weeks later and was very happy with the result! Both shoots included a preview of photos within 24 hours! I cannot speak highly enough of Leo and his second shooter, Igor, and the wonderful job they did capturing our wedding. They were timely, professional, and so helpful on the day of. Once we were able to access our photos after the big day, I was blown away by the quality and authenticity of the photos. Leo and Igor got pictures of everyone who attended our 110-person wedding. They were able to get multiple angles and viewpoints of every special moment. Each and every photo is beautiful and I feel they truly captured our day in its entirety. Leo was awesome!! He did both our engagement photos and wedding photos and I can't even begin to tell you how many compliments we have gotten on both! He genuinely cares about getting the best shots he can, hes so friendly and easy to work with and so professional. A couple of days before my wedding he called to go over the itinerary and ask what specific shots were important to us, i had never been a part of a wedding party before so it was helpful to get an idea of what to expect the day of and what would be nice to focus on; only two days after the wedding we had a preview of 15 photos and they were all so good! Where do I start? Leo was absolutely wonderful to work with. Tyler and I could not have asked for anything more in a wedding photographer. We were living out of state while wedding planning, so I had to hire also before even meeting him, and we didn't do an engagement shoot. Regardless, he showed up early to our wedding day, was dressed so appropriately for the day, and was the absolute nicest man. The whole planning process, he was so accommodating and willing to fashion a contract that suited our needs. My man Leo and his assistant Igor were AMAZING at my wedding. I was the Groom. So kinda a big deal around here.... for that day atleast. Leo and Igor were calm, collected, Early and attentive. If any of you guys are gear junkies like me, have no fear, Leo is sporting the best gear, he had a Nikon d800e and 70-200 f2.8 and two bodies. I think was also carrying around an 18-55 2.8. Without boring all you other brides to be, the point is, this is a legit Rig and is the kind of camera they send to Space. But I had the fortune of getting Leo to use it for my wedding instead to take unforgettable and clear and dreamy photos only seen in magazines. Not those cheezy photos that look like it was taken from a disposable camera. NAH this is Prime , Have you Even checked out his INSTA yet? Get on that now. BUT WHAT ABOUT HIS PERSONALITY? AM I GOING TO LIKE HIM? Hell yah. Leo is the kind of guy that can make anyone feel natural and calm and be themselves. He went above and beyond all our expectations and we are excited to share all the beautiful photos with our friends and family and print them out for an album. We did not hire a Wedding Videographer, and we have no regrets because Leo captured the special day for us in all the ways we want to remember it, he asked us many times as well to just make sure he did as well ;) Leo I know we only met once, and talked on the phone a handful of times, but you literally felt like a part of our small wedding and like a close friend that I have known for a long time. My father and mother still talk about you and how nice you were to us and how good you were at taking the group photos! Thank you for the priceless memories (That means photos) You made it that much easier for us. And helping edit all the photos to make us look even better. We are definitely recommending you to anyone who is thinking about getting married. The first time I saw Leo’s work was for a friends wedding that I was in a couple years ago. Once I saw the pics I thought to myself...”wow!” I knew from that point that when my special day came I wanted Leo to do my photography. I am pleased to say he did not disappoint at all! Thanks Leo!

If I could leave more stars on this review, I would. I honestly cannot write enough to describe how amazing it was and still is to work with Leo. I am VERY picky and honestly quite critical, but I couldn't find single flaw in my experience: - When meeting for the first time in person almost two years before my wedding, he was extremely welcoming, attentive, and inquisitive. You can tell he wants to make sure he's going to deliver exactly what you're asking for. That same attention to detail and service continued throughout the whole time working with him (again, two years!!) - He was very creative in working with my budget to help us get everything we needed while still delivering exceptional service and photos. He was willing to be flexible with our "commitment issues" when we had an unexpected complication due to a family member's serious illness, which is more than I can say for most vendors. - Absolutely EVERYONE was raving about him at the wedding. It was an instant "Where did you find this guy??" every time he interacted with one of our guests, and in the best way possible. - He was professional, kind, intuitive, punctual, and responsive - it's rare to find all five traits in a vendor - Like a true photographer, he was discreet and fluid throughout the whole day - he was able to capture the most amazing, unexpected candid shots when you didn't even know he was there. - The editing job is GORGEOUS. He can sense what kind of editing style I was looking for and, when we got the final product just a few days ago, I was just sobbing for hours because they were so beautiful. I've already recommended him to three other brides and will continue to recommend him to anyone who will listen. You will not regret going with Leo!

would give him 1,000,000,000 stars but I’m maxed out. Imagine being a stressed out nervous bride and having someone reassure you to just show up and smile. It takes a gifted person to take nice pictures but an equally talented person to create natural shots with natural body language. Leo knows how to get you to pose, telling a story in every picture. As someone not very photogenic I sooo appreciated that. He showed up on time and ready, was very kind to my family and guests and he kept us on schedule. He was so good at working with his environment and capturing the moment and his pricing is beyond reasonable! Book him, you won’t be disappointed.

Hello this is Jonathan and Leidy! Let us start saying: Leo is THE BEST! The most amazing photographer. We married in April this year and he did both engagement and wedding pictures. We wanted to try engagement first to see how it goes and it was amazing! So we decided right then to ask him if he could be out wedding photographer. Not just for the great photos the takes so serenely, but also his professionalism. He’s there early he will help you, give you ideas, he tries to accommodate you... so many good things to say! ...And honestly I think his prices are super low for the level of quality he gives, so take advantage and get good pictures! Leo is an awesome and very professional photographer. After viewing through his gallery, my husband and I were like, "This is the one." Creative and adaptable, he made us feel so comfortable. Very friendly and easy to get in touch with. He took very beautiful photos of so many awesome moments. Hard to find a photographer worth his weight and Leo is definitely someone who comes through.
