Where to start! Kim was amazingly helpful from start to finish; right off we gave her a list of what we thought we'd need, and she gave us back an extremely organized and detailed quote. This was extremely helpful in making choices and prioritizing what we want, as everything was laid out as single line items. We had as many design meetings as we needed to, and she was so patient with us (including when we changed our minds or second guessed ourselves) and provided helpful advice the whole time. On the day of the event, everything was handled smoothly by Kim and her team, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a small wedding party, but they made several boutonnieres for our closets friends, and they were all different but related to each other. As for the centerpieces; people still have told me almost a year later how beautiful they were. Colorful, textural, fun - really everything we asked for. We had ten tables so did a variety of things; some tables had garlands, wreaths, lots of color all around. It really did turn out beautifully. As someone in a (different) design field, I know it can be rare to find someone who is both creative AND organized and professional, but The Pollen Mill definitely was all of those things. We would recommend The Pollen Mill because their service and final product was beyond our expectations.

I was extremely disappointed by the Pollen Mill. In fact, they are the only vendor from our wedding who we aren’t giving a 5 star rating and a glowing review. We could have picked up the same flowers from a grocery store. We had a small wedding, with only 8 tables and only 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. We paid over $4,000, which is insane to begin with. And seemed even more insane when our event coordinator forwarded an email Kim (Pollen Mill owner) sent to her that said Kim would not even be attending the wedding for set-up. Instead, she sent someone in training, by herself (if they aren’t even listed on your website, don’t pretend they are qualified). The person she sent was also extremely rude to my husband while he was setting up the arch. Now, onto the flowers. I asked for 3 things: evergreen sprigs, white roses, and lavender. There was no lavender anywhere, which it is still in season by the way. Instead she stuck horribly ugly pink roses all over the place. Lavender should have been extremely easy to find. Kim just didn’t care what we wanted. She ignored emails and was extremely unprofessional throughout the process. So if you have LOTS of cash to blow and don’t care at all about what your flowers look like, I guess this might be a good option for you. If not, find someone else.

Kim's incredible work was an absolute highlight of our wedding! In addition to her STUNNING, intricate and extensive work on our wedding arch, table centerpieces, bridal party flowers & venue decor, Kim was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was prompt in replying, flexible, detail-oriented and genuinely invested in the specialness of our day. After spending months and months planning our dream outdoor ceremony, the weather reports predicted a 90% chance of thunderstorms and lightning the night before. Kim's patience, kindness, and commitment to doing the most and best she could in this situation is what made our wedding complete-- she remained on standby for set-up to wait out a probable storm and when it never came to fruition, she worked her heart out to assemble THE most beautiful and breathtaking arch, outdoors, as we had hope and prayed we would be able to do. She went above and beyond, staying on-site all day and all night and made the details of the wedding just perfect. Cannot recommend a vendor or person more than Kim and The Pollen Mill!

Kim was amazing. I worked with The Pollen Mill for my wedding bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres. She was professional, prompt, and honest. I'm a simple girl with pretty streamlined taste, and Kim was able to make that happen. She can design just about anything - that's clear from her portfolio - but the most important part about her and her team is that they listen. So many vendors are lovely and do great work, but it is rare to find a professional that is as gifted in the art of listening. She was able to pay close attention to what I asked for, and then translated that design to perfection. The level of detail in her work, both the finished product and on the administrative side, would alone warrant a five star review. On top of clarity, professionalism and talent, Kim is a genuinely nice person. I was really hoping for orchids in my bouquet, but there was a statewide shortage! Kim went above and beyond to find them - including calling vendors in Southern California. We didn't end up going with the orchids, but I really appreciate all of the effort she put in to find them. My bouquet was drop-dead gorgeous anyway. If you're looking for someone who loves what they do and is a pleasure do business with, choose The Pollen Mill!
