The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa

From our first meeting with The Portland Regency, nothing was short of awesome! They made our wedding perfect in every way. They went out of their way to make sure everything was great. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, our guest had a great time and our room was so cool! They made us feel like we were the most important guests and that our wedding was the only thing that mattered. Even though the hotel was fully booked for that weekend! We had a very small wedding so I figured it was no big deal but we truly felt so special. Having our intimate wedding with the Portland regency was the best part of the wedding! Denise was our wedding coordinator and she was there morning, noon and night to make sure everything was going perfectly. They even made us a ice cream cake(the groom's favorite)! David and Sam were who we talked to and planned the wedding with and every time I talked to them they were so nice and helpful! I am so happy we chose The Regency! Thank you all for your hard work! Looking forward to staying there every time I visit portland!

I am so happy that I chose to have my wedding at The Portland Regency. The location was perfect for us, as we are in love with our city of Portland, and The Regency is right in the heart of the old port.mit was also perfect for our guest, both those that came from out of town, and those local. Our guests from out of town were thrilled to stay right downtown and have access to all that portland offers. From the first meeting with Samantha (sales coordinator) to the day of the wedding, she handled everything with ease. I had tons of questions and changed my mind several times, but it was never a problem. The hotel was so accommodating- we were allowed to set up early so there was no stress the day of. Denise was so helpful on the day of the rehearsal- we had no idea what we were doing, but she guided us through so the ceremony went down seamlessly. The reception was perfect- guest are still talking about how good the food was, and the servers were so professional and friendly. The hotel rooms are so comfortable and beautiful. All of our guests who stayed were more than happy with their accommodations. I still can't believe that we were able to afford such a beautiful and elegant wedding!

We booked a room block at The Portland Regency for our wedding across the street and were extremely pleased! Winslow was great to work with and was very accommodating and responsive. The hotel met all of our requests, from bringing more chairs to the room to have hair/makeup done, to allowing our photographer to valet her car. The ambiance was great and the food in the restaurant was wonderful too. We also hosted an unofficial after-party following our wedding in the bar downstairs and it was a great time!!

From our initial meeting with Sales Manager, David Davis we knew we had found our perfect venue. We wanted a venue that spoke to our love for Portland, Maine. We never realized that we would find it in one of the top ten best historic hotels in the USA at a price that we could afford. Throughout the whole process we felt that our opinions and desires were completely understood and respected. Sales coordinator, Winslow Ross and Banquet Manager, Denise Ross were everything we could have asked for and more. Their participation was vital in the success of the biggest day of our lives.
