We meet with every couple personally, assist with bar planning and logistics, create signature drink menus, and use our professional drink calculator to determine exactly how much alcohol is needed for your event — saving our clients money while ensuring the bar never runs out.

At the heart of The Pourfolk are Tim and Emily—a husband-and-wife team, parents of two, and lifelong hospitality professionals who built this business around what matters most: people, connection, and unforgettable experiences. With over 40 years of combined experience in bartending, restaurants, and private events, we met the way many great stories do—working side by side in a restaurant, where Tim managed and Emily bartended. The bar industry didn’t just shape our careers—it became part of our story.
The Pourfolk was created with intention after planning our own wedding in Upstate South Carolina. We quickly realized that bartending services were often treated as an afterthought—limited customization, little to no planning support, and expensive packages that didn’t reflect the experience we envisioned. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built one.
