Khara was wonderful to work with! During our trial she paid attention and really took the time to create a look that we both were comfortable with. She was able to enhance our makeup from normal everyday to something special without taking away what made us feel like us. When it came the day of the wedding Khara and her assistant Kayla were on time and were able to get 10 of us ready for the wedding! Every single one of our bridesmaids looked like themselves. Khara and Kayla were able to bring out the personality of each of us through hair and makeup. They had such a fun and calming presence the morning of our wedding. Khara and her team were phenomenal!! The entire process was seamless. She had excellent communication since day 1, showed up on time day of the wedding, and did both hair and makeup for 12 girls. Khara and Alex are wonderful human beings who are exceptional at what they do! I know very little about makeup. Throughout the whole planning process, Khara took the time to educate me and offer me tips on different products and skincare regimens. I never felt judged for my lack of knowledge. Khara is an absolute beauty inside and out. Her personality is such a breath of fresh air. She is very attentive and patient. I initially spoke to her over the phone before we met in person to do my trial makeup for my wedding and just by talking to her it made me feel at ease. When I met her in person for the first it was like we knew each other for years. During my trial makeup session she made sure I was comfortable with the look we created, she was patient, understanding, her voice calm and just made sure we both were comfortable and the right fit for my wedding day. On my wedding day she arrived at the wedding location early took her time to set up and made sure my bridal tribe and I were good. Khara did our make up so wonderful everyone felt extra special on my wedding day. Khara did my mother in law's hair and makeup and when I tell you she loved it so much she gave her such a big hug after. The day was just magical she allowed us to cry before I walked down the aisle and even went back to fix any smudges we had. If my husband and I ever do a vow renewal best believe I will be using Khara again for our makeup/hair needs. She made everyone feel so calmed and relaxed, we played our music and just had our little ladies' morning getting wedding ready. Khara did the hair and makeup for me and my bridal party on 7/7. She knocked it out of the park! Everyone looked flawless all night- even with the suffocating humidity. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Khara and her team did bridal and bridesmaid makeup and hair at my wedding at Moonstone Manor in Harrisburg PA. They were very professional and my bridesmaids were very happy with how they looked! They are really good at making sure the makeup comes out very natural. My makeup was intact for 6 hours despite the 86 degree weather while dancing and sweating. People in the crowd were surprised my makeup was still perfectly intact. I liked the way my foundation was applied because it wasn’t powdery at all. It had a nice glow and was so subtle.

Khara and her sister were absolutely incredible to work with. Having a great hair and make up team makes such a big impact on your wedding day. They aren't there simply just to apply make up or put up your hair, they make you look and feel beautiful, hype you up or calm you down, whichever is needed, and essentially serve as part of your bridal party for half the day. Not only did me, my bridesmaids, mother, and mother in law look beautiful, but everyone had such a great time interacting and talking with them. I could not have asked for better addition to our day.

Khara was the best vendor choice I made for my wedding! Not only is she knowledgeable, talented, and an overall nice person… she also helped me get into my wedding dress when my mom couldn’t. 😂😅 My bridesmaids all said it was the best they have ever looked in a wedding party, and many of them went out and bought the same makeup she used on the day of. Khara did the most incredible work for me and my bridesmaids on the day of our wedding. Her makeup technique was so flawless, and not only did she accentuate each girl's individual beauty, but she helped make sure the looks were coordinated and would work with the lighting. I've quite literally never felt so beautiful in my life with my Charlotte Tilbury-style makeup and glowy complexion. She brought my ideal hairstyle to life. That's just the artistic side of things. Because I lived out of state and wasn't able to make it for a trial, we discussed in depth about the kind of look I wanted on the day of. Our wedding was October 9th, 2022 and we planned since our engagement in the fall of 2020. It was a long planning process and I couldn’t be happier with all my vendors. Khara did my makeup, my bridesmaids’, and my mom’s for our wedding day. 8 of us total with a tighter timeline to be ready for pictures, and she even did some makeup on my little sister free of charge just because. She felt really special. Khara knocked it out of the park and without an assistant! We were all done early and could relax- but she didn’t rush and everyone looked and felt absolutely beautiful. Not only that, but the makeup held up all day and night. I quite literally sobbed multiple times (was missing my dad on my wedding day, my brothers walked me down the aisle, and all the other wedding day emotions too… like when my husband bawled like a baby seeing me for the first time haha) and you couldn’t even tell I cried! I must say… I was a picky, perfectionistic bride especially with makeup, and I was anxious because this was my first time having it done professionally and for something so important. Khara understood that and comforted my every worry through the trial and on the wedding day. She also did my makeup again for my rehearsal dinner on a day when she was crunched for time and it looked awesome. She adjusted things when needed, was so reassuring, and answered every question I ever had. She kept in touch, was always on time, and helped in any way she could. She also had such a cool, calm, collected attitude and that presence on the morning of the wedding was so nice. It was amazing! Khara has a “enhance your natural beauty” approach which I feel is hard to find these days. I can’t even tell you how many compliments I got on how beautiful I looked and the PICTURES!… they are stunning and the makeup was perfect for that. Khara and her team did an amazing job with our bridal party glam for my wedding day! She was super communicative, professional, and was flexible with my schedule (being that I'm not local) to get a time that worked for my hair trial. We had the pleasure of working with Khara and her sister for my wedding day and they exceeded our expectations! Khara is a fantastic hair and makeup artist. I had never felt more beautiful than I did for my trial run (which I used for my engagement shoot)… until my wedding. All she needs is a picture to go off of (from something you’ve had done previously or just ideas on pinterest) and she can recreate any look. If you’re struggling for the exact look you want (like I was), she offers her opinion for what she thinks will work best for you. She is very easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of. And she works very efficiently! For my wedding, we had 6 people to getting hair and makeup (including me) in 4 hours and Khara brought along her sister to help with hair. Some of my wedding party was concerned that there wouldn’t be enough time for everyone. But Khara and her sister were so efficient that we finished in just over 3 hours! And no one’s hair or makeup was rushed in any way. Everyone looked so beautiful and the hair and makeup held up very well throughout the night. We couldn’t have been more pleased with Khara. Highly highly recommend booking her! I will definitely be using her again for future events.

I used Beauty by Khara for my wedding hair and make up and am so happy I did! At my trial, Khara listened to what I wanted, explained things I wasn't familiar with, and made me look beautiful. She was super laid back and sweet, and very understanding of any changes I wanted to make along the way. I wanted to tweak parts of my hair the day of my wedding and she made my vision come to life! Khara did amazing. Our makeup was on point for everyone from the tween to the moms to the bride. She made us all feel and look beautiful! My hair was perfect and stayed through pictures in 90+ degree weather until the very last dance with my husband. She did bring another for doing the rest of the parties hair. She was also great. She made sure before she left to check everyone’s hair to ensure it was secure and ready for the nights event.

I remember stressing so much about finding someone to do hair and makeup for my wedding. I had talked to a few other MUA and hairstylists, but either they were booked up, too far away, or just not a good fit. Khara did hair and makeup for our November 2020 wedding. She worked with me, my mom, and my bridal party. Everyone was raving about the excellent job she did and we all felt like the most beautiful versions of ourselves with Khara’s help. When looking for our vendors, it was important for us to select vendors that we really liked as a person, as we would be spending a significant amount of time with them on our wedding day. Khara could not have been more fun to have around that morning. If you are looking for a super talented and overall lovely person to do your hair and makeup, look no further!

Finding a hair and makeup vendor was probably one of the most tricky vendors for me to find - simply because it is such a personal experience and really can make or break the day depending if you feel sexy, happy, and beautiful in your skin! I just need to say that Khara GETS that and she is so empathic to your needs and wants to make sure you are 110% comfortable with her and that your girls are comfortable. She will use her superhuman makeup powers to bring out your natural beauty and make you feel like you are the queen of the freakin' universe! Two days before my wedding day, I made the horrific mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed and not thinking anything of it because I had done it a million times - however, this particular time something went wrong and the skin right in the center of my brows -- literally the middle of my face -- was burned off. I looked like Harry Potter and to make myself not cry I went around joking that I was Harriet Potter. I was terrified Khara wasn't going to be able to cover it but she worked her magic and you could not even tell I had a huge oozing scab on my face during the wedding. That situation alone literally makes me owe my life to this dear woman... She's incredible. In addition to this, she's very reasonably priced, very communicative, and very organized. Before the wedding, I really enjoyed chatting with her and hearing her recommendations based on the vision I had for my look. My girls loved her sister as well who came along to help get everyone ready for the day. Khara and her sister Brittany both have years of experience and they really know the best products to use for different skin and hair types! I highly recommend Khara to every bride and her bridal party -- you will love her just as much as we did!

I used Khara for hair & makeup for our wedding. Khara and her sister were amazing to work with! We had 7 people getting hair & makeup done and everyone loved the way they looked! Khara was so professional and helpful throughout the whole process. She made me feel so comfortable and confident on my wedding day. I am pretty basic and don’t wear much makeup regularly and Khara created a look for me that was natural and elegant. On the day of they were prompt and efficient with their time. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely book Khara.

WOW! We were completely blown away by how great Khara and her team is. I am someone who is hesitant to get their makeup done for the fact that I don’t typically wear a ton of makeup and I don’t want to look like someone I’m not. Let me tell you, Khara is the BEST at emphasizing your natural features and believes in “less is more” when it comes to wedding makeup. She made me and my bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful and my bridesmaids kept asking me where I found someone as great as Beauty by Khara. After the wedding, my now husband (who has never complimented my makeup before or even typically notices that kind of stuff) said that my makeup and hair looked awesome and he was so happy that I still looked like myself. It was so nice to get ready at the venue with Khara and she is such a relaxing presence on the most nerve wracking day of your life. Of all of my wedding vendors, Khara was by far my favorite person to work with! I was married in Lancaster, PA which is approximately 3 hours from where I live. It is for this reason that I was initially worried about who I would find to do my hair for my wedding- when you are traveling from a distance, you really have to be able to TRUST the people that you work with. And once I met Khara, I knew I had found just that person. Khara is that super-talented-and- professional yet friendly-and-accommodating artist that everyone hopes to have when they need to look their best. I felt completely at ease with Khara and am still in awe of her ability to look at a picture of a style and then bring that to life. Absolutely perfect!

Khara is the absolute BEST! She takes the time to listen to exactly what you are looking for and boy does she deliver. She and her sister did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party, and everyone looked perfect. The best part was that all of my bridesmaids LOVED the way they looked (which I feel like is not always the case for a wedding party). Khara was responsive and professional during the entire process, and very efficient the day of. I am not used to wearing any makeup, and she created a look that was natural and comfortable and made me feel like a princess. I had some tweaks I wanted to make for my hair from my trial to the day of and I could not have loved the way it turned out more. My favorite thing about Khara was that she tells you that if you don't like something to tell her and she will fix it, and she really means it. Khara, I can't thank you enough! I cannot say enough good things about Khara!! She was extremely responsive and organized as soon as I filled out a request form, and I had a LOT of questions, being someone who does not usually get my hair and makeup done. At my hair trial, she was so warm and spent some time getting to know me. Then she put my hair in exactly the style I wanted it in minutes! On the wedding day, my friends and I had so much fun getting ready with her and her assistant, Brittany. They felt like our friends at that point. Everyone thought their hair and makeup looked so beautiful because they did such an amazing job!! I was SO happy with my final look for my wedding; my makeup and hair were flawless and lasted all night- I got so many compliments. I would love to hire Khara again and hope to have the chance!!

Khara is amazing. It sounds cliche but really she is. I presented her with an inquiry for 13 people hair AND make up, and she never once flinched. She called me and told me that she would do everything in her power to make sure that she could accommodate my large bridal party while still providing a reasonable price. She came to my house for the trial and not only made me look fabulous, but she did it so quickly! On the day of the wedding, Khara and her team were super humans. They somehow managed to style hair and make up for not only myself, my 9 bridesmaids, mother, mother in law, and step mother in law, but they did it all before the first look! They are incredibly talented and work magic. I presented her with some slight changes from the trail to the day of, and she took exactly what I had pictured in my head, and made me look like the bride I imagined I would be. My make up and hair looked flawless all night, and she even made sure to stick around to touch up as needed after out first look before the ceremony. Khara is an incredible artist, and the kindest person I have ever met. I would chose her again and again!

Choosing Khara for wedding day hair and makeup was hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made. I cannot say enough about her skill. She is an expert at her craft and is able to enhance features and draw out beauty in ways I never dreamed possible, all while maintaining a seamless, natural, and light look. Most of the bridal party (myself included) are in our 30s and have been in many weddings, and we unanimously agreed that Khara created the most stunning looks of any wedding we've been in. I can't say enough wonderful things about Khara. She is so knowledgeable and has so much love for her clients, you won'tbe disappointed. I know absolutely nothing about makeup and she made me look and feel like a princess. The makeup wasn't heavy or cakey looking, it was so light and natural which is exactly what I wanted. Not only was the makeup gorgeous but so is Khara's soul. She is so easy to work with and puts your mind at ease from the first time you talk to her. I can't wait to schedule another party, wedding, a random Saturday just so I can use her again.

I absolutely loved working with Khara. She was so easy to book and flexible when setting up my trial. At the trial, she was so helpful and worked with me on figuring out my style AND gave me some great ideas about wedding things non-hair/makeup related. On the wedding day everyone loved their hair and makeup (especially me!!) and she even found time to add my mom in for makeup last minute. Khara is so easy and wonderful to work with. I would recommend her many times over.

Khara is a legit magician!!!! She transformed my very average face/hair into an amazing beauty for my wedding day. I have never been one to stare at myself in the mirror for more than .1 seconds, I don't know how to do any makeup besides basic powder foundation and mascara, but after seeing what she can do, I am determined to learn how to do makeup!!!! I literally have never looked or felt more beautiful in MY LIFE, which is really how it should be on your wedding day!! When you're sitting in her chair, and she's airbrushing your makeup on, and then adding little subtle clusters of fake eyelashes (not a whole heavy sheet of them like you see that looks so fake), it feels like she is doing so much! But then you look in the mirror and you still look like YOU, just an amazingly better you!!! My makeup was ON POINT, and the sealant she sprays at the end held up for 8+ hours. I had my makeup start at 11am, she was done around 11:34. Then hair until maybe just after 12pm? And the ceremony wasn't until 3pm ( we wanted lots of photos before the ceremony) and the whole event ended at 10pm, and my makeup still looked impeccable, despite the crying I did during the ceremony. My hair, which I had done in a curly, messy bun off the side with a few curls dangling down, held up through all my crazy dancing! The bun definitely started to fall a bit lower down, but it held its shape and looked even better! The amount of pins I pulled out of my hair later that night was astonishing for how comfortable and perfect the hair-do was. I am so truly grateful to Khara for the work she did on me. I have always felt pretty average on the side of decent looking, but Khara transformed me into a princess. I am so tempted to learn her secret ways now, after seeing how they can make me look. Her prices were EXTREMELY reasonable (I told her she needs to charge more), and tipped her extra on the day of after seeing the magic she had worked on me. The whole wedding day I didn't feel self conscious at all, which was an amazing feeling. Thank you, Khara, so much for everything you did for me!!!!

Khara was so encouraging and calming throughout the whole process. The trial was so helpful and she was so patient. Even after the trial I was still trying to figure out what exactly I wanted. I had a vision in my head and on my wedding day, Khara made reality even better! My make up was exactly what I envisioned and I never felt like I was wearing too much. Make up stayed on all day as well as my eyelashes! Khara’s sister did my bridesmaids hair and I was blown away. I would recommend Khara to any bride !!

I cannot picture anyone else doing my makeup for my special day. I had trouble finding a makeup artist for my wedding because it was being held in a town I do not even live in, so I searched for a while. I stumbled across her work online and fell in love. I contacted her and she told me she had availability for my wedding day, and was able to schedule my makeup trial soon after our phone conversation. This was great because I had a little over a month left until the wedding and I felt like time was running short. Khara was flexible with scheduling, travels to you, and is friendly and very easy to get along with. I also thought she was pretty funny, which made everything so much more fun! Most importantly, she KNOWS HER MAKEUP. I told her I had issues with finding foundation to match my skin tone in the past, and she spoke about things like oxidation once makeup reacts with your face's natural chemistry, showing that she's an expert in this field. Her knowledge about this put me at ease and reassured me that I wouldn't go from a beautiful bronzed queen to "what the?" once a few minutes passed by, which had happened to me in the past when getting makeup matched at beauty stores. My make up was so pretty and sparkly like I wanted, and it lasted all night on my naturally oily skin. She created a custom, berry-colored tint for my lips which I LOVED! My mom also loved the makeup Khara did for her, which says a lot because my mom can be picky! Makeup: 10/10. Also, Khara took on the challenge of doing my hair on my wedding day. I am of Central American descent so I have very thick and heavy hair all the way down to my hips. Khara managed to put all my hair into a low bun with side-swept bangs. The bun was so pretty, and even survived a cake fight with my husband after the cake-cutting. She took her time putting all my hair into that beautiful bun and she had so much patience working with my layered hair. Last, but not least, she did a wonderful job on my mother's and sister's hair. We all looked wonderful thanks to Khara. With that being said, hair was also 10/10. You will not regret choosing Khara for your special day!

While Khara may not need another review, I felt that I should give her a shoutout because of how wonderful she was. She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt on my wedding day. Khara was awesome to work with!! For the hair trial I had a picture of what I thought I wanted done. Khara mirrored the picture perfectly, but in photos I didn’t love the style. Khara had an idea for my hair that I tried and LOVED! She really listened to my vision for the wedding and gave me a hair style that fit perfectly. I wish I could post a picture to show you- it had an old Hollywood look with modern flowy curls. I also loved the make up she did. It looked so natural and like me (just enhanced).

Khara does an amazing job! She recently did my makeup for my wedding this past June. She is fun and a joy to work with. Makeup was flawless and lasted all day in the 96 degree heat at our outdoor wedding!!
