Khara was wonderful to work with! During our trial she paid attention and really took the time to create a look that we both were comfortable with. She was able to enhance our makeup from normal everyday to something special without taking away what made us feel like us. When it came the day of the wedding Khara and her assistant Kayla were on time and were able to get 10 of us ready for the wedding! Every single one of our bridesmaids looked like themselves. Khara and Kayla were able to bring out the personality of each of us through hair and makeup. They had such a fun and calming presence the morning of our wedding. Honestly we could not recommend Khara enough!

Khara and her team were phenomenal!! The entire process was seamless. She had excellent communication since day 1, showed up on time day of the wedding, and did both hair and makeup for 12 girls. Khara and Alex are wonderful human beings who are exceptional at what they do! I know very little about makeup. Throughout the whole planning process, Khara took the time to educate me and offer me tips on different products and skincare regimens. I never felt judged for my lack of knowledge. In fact, Khara welcomed these questions with patience and kindness. During the wedding day, the whole bridal party loved working with Khara and Alex! Each girl would step out of the chair and we’d all hype her up. Everyone looked incredible AND they felt great in their hair and makeup! The whole time, their energy helped to ground us, too. Khara is an absolute breath of fresh air. She is witty, calm, and so talented. She did such an incredible job on my own and my bridal party's hair/makeup. Everyone looked BREATHTAKING! Khara is an absolute beauty inside and out. Her personality is such a breath of fresh air. She is very attentive and patient. I initially spoke to her over the phone before we met in person to do my trial makeup for my wedding and just by talking to her it made me feel at ease. When I met her in person for the first it was like we knew each other for years. During my trial makeup session she made sure I was comfortable with the look we created, she was patient, understanding, her voice calm and just made sure we both were comfortable and the right fit for my wedding day. On my wedding day she arrived at the wedding location early took her time to set up and made sure my bridal tribe and I were good. Khara did our make up so wonderful everyone felt extra special on my wedding day. Khara did my mother in law's hair and makeup and when I tell you she loved it so much she gave her such a big hug after. The day was just magical she allowed us to cry before I walked down the aisle and even went back to fix any smudges we had. If my husband and I ever do a vow renewal best believe I will be using Khara again for our makeup/hair needs. She made everyone feel so calmed and relaxed, we played our music and just had our little ladies' morning getting wedding ready. Khara from the bottom of our hearts we appreciate you, thank you for making us all feel so special.

Khara did the hair and makeup for me and my bridal party on 7/7. She knocked it out of the park! Everyone looked flawless all night- even with the suffocating humidity. I can’t recommend her enough!!

Khara and her team did bridal and bridesmaid makeup and hair at my wedding at Moonstone Manor in Harrisburg PA. They were very professional and my bridesmaids were very happy with how they looked! They are really good at making sure the makeup comes out very natural. My makeup was intact for 6 hours despite the 86 degree weather while dancing and sweating. People in the crowd were surprised my makeup was still perfectly intact. I liked the way my foundation was applied because it wasn’t powdery at all. It had a nice glow and was so subtle.

Khara was the best vendor choice I made for my wedding! Not only is she knowledgeable, talented, and an overall nice person… she also helped me get into my wedding dress when my mom couldn’t. 😂😅 My bridesmaids all said it was the best they have ever looked in a wedding party, and many of them went out and bought the same makeup she used on the day of. Of course we can’t apply it quite as well as she can, but she made such an impact on us all! Thank you so so much, Khara!

Khara did the most incredible work for me and my bridesmaids on the day of our wedding. Her makeup technique was so flawless, and not only did she accentuate each girl's individual beauty, but she helped make sure the looks were coordinated and would work with the lighting. I've quite literally never felt so beautiful in my life with my Charlotte Tilbury-style makeup and glowy complexion. She brought my ideal hairstyle to life. That's just the artistic side of things. Throughout the process, she was incredibly communicative, professional, and really timely. Because I lived out of state and wasn't able to make it for a trial, we discussed in depth about the kind of look I wanted on the day of. If you were to find yourself in the same position, just trust her! She really is a pro. I'd recommend Khara over and over again.

Khara was wonderful to work with on my wedding day. She made me feel and look more beautiful than ever! My hair was stunning and I got compliments all night long. She perfectly kept my curly texture and accentuated my curls and headpiece. The makeup was perfect, and highlighted exactly what it needed too without being too much. Khara and her partner for the day were great with each member of my bridal party and I was so thankful to have them there on my big day!

Our wedding was October 9th, 2022 and we planned since our engagement in the fall of 2020. It was a long planning process and I couldn’t be happier with all my vendors. Khara did my makeup, my bridesmaids’, and my mom’s for our wedding day. 8 of us total with a tighter timeline to be ready for pictures, and she even did some makeup on my little sister free of charge just because. She felt really special. Khara knocked it out of the park and without an assistant! We were all done early and could relax- but she didn’t rush and everyone looked and felt absolutely beautiful. Not only that, but the makeup held up all day and night. I quite literally sobbed multiple times (was missing my dad on my wedding day, my brothers walked me down the aisle, and all the other wedding day emotions too… like when my husband bawled like a baby seeing me for the first time haha) and you couldn’t even tell I cried! I must say… I was a picky, perfectionistic bride especially with makeup, and I was anxious because this was my first time having it done professionally and for something so important. Khara understood that and comforted my every worry through the trial and on the wedding day. She also did my makeup again for my rehearsal dinner on a day when she was crunched for time and it looked awesome. She adjusted things when needed, was so reassuring, and answered every question I ever had. She kept in touch, was always on time, and helped in any way she could. She also had such a cool, calm, collected attitude and that presence on the morning of the wedding was so nice. It was amazing! Khara has a “enhance your natural beauty” approach which I feel is hard to find these days. I can’t even tell you how many compliments I got on how beautiful I looked and the PICTURES!… they are stunning and the makeup was perfect for that. We had the pleasure of working with Khara and her sister for my wedding day and they exceeded our expectations! Khara was quick to help me with soothing prep work on my skin to make sure I was comfortable before applying my makeup and that level of concern she had just made me relax and feel ready to get married. She was able to make all of us look our best and talk us through how we wanted to look and what would work best for our complexions, skin tones, and skin types. Khara is a fantastic hair and makeup artist. I had never felt more beautiful than I did for my trial run (which I used for my engagement shoot)… until my wedding. All she needs is a picture to go off of (from something you’ve had done previously or just ideas on pinterest) and she can recreate any look. If you’re struggling for the exact look you want (like I was), she offers her opinion for what she thinks will work best for you. She is very easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of. And she works very efficiently! For my wedding, we had 6 people to getting hair and makeup (including me) in 4 hours and Khara brought along her sister to help with hair. Some of my wedding party was concerned that there wouldn’t be enough time for everyone. But Khara and her sister were so efficient that we finished in just over 3 hours! And no one’s hair or makeup was rushed in any way. Everyone looked so beautiful and the hair and makeup held up very well throughout the night. We couldn’t have been more pleased with Khara. Highly highly recommend booking her! I will definitely be using her again for future events.

I used Beauty by Khara for my wedding hair and make up and am so happy I did! At my trial, Khara listened to what I wanted, explained things I wasn't familiar with, and made me look beautiful. She was super laid back and sweet, and very understanding of any changes I wanted to make along the way. I wanted to tweak parts of my hair the day of my wedding and she made my vision come to life! Her and her sister were fantastic to work with and myself and all my bridesmaids were happy with our looks!

I truely cannot find words to say how amazing Khara was to work with! She made sure I got what I had invisioned for myself. I felt so beautiful on my day of and all the bridemaids and moms felt the same! She also made time for some last minute help with eye lashes for a couple guests. Very organized and made sure she had time for everything she promised!

Khara did amazing. Our makeup was on point for everyone from the tween to the moms to the bride. She made us all feel and look beautiful! My hair was perfect and stayed through pictures in 90+ degree weather until the very last dance with my husband. She did bring another for doing the rest of the parties hair. She was also great. She made sure before she left to check everyone’s hair to ensure it was secure and ready for the nights event.

Khara was absolutely amazing not only on the day of my wedding, but leading up to my big day as well. After not feeling 100% confident with my first trial, Khara made time for me to come back for a second trial. After continuing to try updo styles which I had always envisioned, and not finding what I liked best, Khara helped me find a completely different style that I absolutely loved. Even though I was very stressed trying to find the perfect look that best suited me, Khara helped me to stay calm and was very reassuring and professional throughout the entire process. I remember stressing so much about finding someone to do hair and makeup for my wedding. I had talked to a few other MUA and hairstylists, but either they were booked up, too far away, or just not a good fit. I remember reading the reviews for Khara and praying that she would be available for my wedding day. Luckily, she was and from our first contact I was impressed. I remember texting my fiance and saying "I finally found someone!" I was thrilled! Khara was extremely accommodating, professional, SO kind and honestly her work just speaks for itself. Khara did hair and makeup for our November 2020 wedding. She worked with me, my mom, and my bridal party. Everyone was raving about the excellent job she did and we all felt like the most beautiful versions of ourselves with Khara’s help. When looking for our vendors, it was important for us to select vendors that we really liked as a person, as we would be spending a significant amount of time with them on our wedding day. Khara could not have been more fun to have around that morning. If you are looking for a super talented and overall lovely person to do your hair and makeup, look no further!

Finding a hair and makeup vendor was probably one of the most tricky vendors for me to find - simply because it is such a personal experience and really can make or break the day depending if you feel sexy, happy, and beautiful in your skin! I just need to say that Khara GETS that and she is so empathic to your needs and wants to make sure you are 110% comfortable with her and that your girls are comfortable. She will use her superhuman makeup powers to bring out your natural beauty and make you feel like you are the queen of the freakin' universe! Two days before my wedding day, I made the horrific mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed and not thinking anything of it because I had done it a million times - however, this particular time something went wrong and the skin right in the center of my brows -- literally the middle of my face -- was burned off. I looked like Harry Potter and to make myself not cry I went around joking that I was Harriet Potter. I was terrified Khara wasn't going to be able to cover it but she worked her magic and you could not even tell I had a huge oozing scab on my face during the wedding. That situation alone literally makes me owe my life to this dear woman... She's incredible. In addition to this, she's very reasonably priced, very communicative, and very organized. Before the wedding, I really enjoyed chatting with her and hearing her recommendations based on the vision I had for my look. My girls loved her sister as well who came along to help get everyone ready for the day. Khara and her sister Brittany both have years of experience and they really know the best products to use for different skin and hair types! I highly recommend Khara to every bride and her bridal party -- you will love her just as much as we did!

I was so happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding day! My makeup lasted all night and looked exactly the same as my trial day. Khara helped reduce some of my day-of-stress by being incredibly efficient. She was set up and ready to work before I arrived (on time) to the bridal suite.
