Mandy from Pretty Parlor made me look exactly how I wanted for my wedding day. She took all my inspo photos and managed to recreate it perfectly, even without a trial run and me wearing glasses! She uses great products and knows what she's doing. My curls went a little flat because of my unexpected windy ceremony, but my hair twist + floral bobby pins and make up held up throughout the entire night, no touch up needed. Thank you so much for making me feel like my best self during my special day.

Their talent, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel like the best versions of ourselves on our special day. On the big day, they arrived promptly, equipped with everything necessary to transform me and the bridal party. They created a calm and enjoyable atmosphere, which was a lovely way to start the day. Their efficiency and organization were impressive, ensuring everyone was ready on time and looking fabulous. They went above and beyond to ensure we looked and felt amazing. Their friendly and positive attitudes added to the joy of the day, and their ability to make us look our best while still feeling like ourselves was simply remarkable. We received endless compliments on our hair and makeup, and we felt beautiful and confident all day long. We can't thank them enough! I had the best experience working with The Pretty Parlor! Danielle was so kind and patient working with me during my trial, making sure everything looked how I wanted and I was comfortable. On our wedding day, Danielle and Monique showed up bright and early to do 11 ladies' hair — and brought such great energy! Everyone's hair turned out beautifully and lasted through our 12+ hour day.

Mandy and Danielle did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup for my August 2022 wedding. When I first started my search I was cautious about finding a team that could accommodate a bridal party with women from all different ethnicities - I’ve heard horror stories from my friends that are women of color that they can never find the right shade and their makeup never looks good. Mandy was very quick to reassure me that she had experience working with women of all backgrounds and from there on I was sold. Prior to my wedding, I booked a hair and makeup trial for both myself and my mom so that we could make any adjustments before the day of - both trials went smoothly and Mandy and Danielle took pictures and notes to recreate the looks on my wedding. On the day of, they showed up bright and early ready to go and efficiently glammed up 5 bridesmaids, two mothers, and me with plenty of time to spare before we had to get to the venue. Mandy made all the girls look so wonderful and elevated their natural beauty with minimal products (which was exactly what I was looking for) - my group isn’t big on makeup and Mandy found the perfect balance between too much makeup and just enough to make them shine. My friends of color were so happy to have finally found a makeup artist who made them feel beautiful! Danielle did an amazing job with everyone’s hair too - each girl came in with their hair inspo and Danielle worked her magic and did all their hair quickly but not rushed. I was impressed with how she was able to do so many different styles perfectly! Looking back at the photos of our wedding, I’ve never felt so beautiful and it was all thanks to Mandy and Danielle! They are the dream team of hair and makeup and their wonderful people too! We could not have asked for a better experience!

Pretty Parlor was recommended by a family friend who used them for their wedding. I booked them for my April 2022 Temecula wedding to do hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids, and they did not disappoint! We had Danielle for hair and Gina for makeup, and they killed it! Both perfectly nailed the look I was going for, and my bridesmaids looked beautiful! To top it off, they were fun to hang out with all morning, which when you're together for 6 hours, is important!

After a last minute change in plans, Danielle was miraculously available about a month before my wedding. I booked a trial with her and was shocked by the results- I have a good amount of hair but have never seen it with the amount of volume that Danielle highlighted. I always imagined I’d need extensions to get my dream hairstyle but Danielle knows what she’s doing. I even loved my hair more the day of the wedding! She also did two of my bridesmaids hair which were absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend- thank you Danielle!

I had Betsy as my artist for my bridal hair and makeup, and I had a blast with her! We had a trial a few months prior to my wedding - I wasn’t sure if I needed the trial, but all my friends, coordinators, Pinterest pages, etc., said I absolutely should, and I’m so glad I did! Not only did I get to narrow down finer details on what I wanted my look to entail, but it was great to get to know Betsy before spending the morning of my wedding with her. We exchanged numbers during the trial too, so I got to ask her a few questions that came up as the big day grew closer, which was super helpful! Betsy showed up right on time for both the trial and the morning-of and got set up to work magic right away. It was only a few of us getting pretty for the wedding, my maid of honor, both moms, and myself, and we all had so much fun hanging out with Betsy all morning. She was super easy to get along with and made sure to get all of our looks just right for us! None of us are heavy makeup-wearers, so we were all a little wary of looking overdone, but everyone’s look was the perfect balance of natural with a hint of glam that we were hoping for. Betsy even gave each of us our own lip color to hold onto for touch-ups throughout the day! My updo stayed up great and was not oversprayed in the slightest, (in the past I’ve had way-too-crunchy hair after, but I did not have to wash the next day!), and my makeup stayed put as well - Bonus points for my face not getting shiny, especially with all the dancing I did during reception! Thank you, Betsy, for starting off my wedding day with me and the other ladies in such a chill, fun way, and of course for making us look so fabulous!

Pretty Parlor was so wonderful to work with! They were so sweet and helpful, and were really nice and understanding when I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to proceed at first. I ended up doing a bridal hair and makeup trial, and they did my hair and makeup and all the bridesmaids and both moms' hair for the wedding. I was so happy I chose to do a trial, it made me feel really confident and relaxed about what we were going to do on the day of the wedding. Initially I wasn’t sure I wanted to have my makeup done for the wedding - I don’t usually wear much and I hate the feeling of thick makeup that makes me feel like I don’t look like myself. But I was SO happy I decided to do a trial, because Danielle did an incredible job. She did exactly what I requested and I felt fancier but still myself. Danielle was so much fun to work with, she was so sweet and funny and listened to my requests and helped me make decisions when I got stuck or wasn’t sure about something. I have never felt prettier or more pampered than I did on my wedding day. I had so much fun getting ready with my bridesmaids and with the pretty parlor team, and everyone looked gorgeous. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat, and wish I knew how to do my own hair and makeup as well as they did it for me!

So easy to work with during covid rescheduling! Honored our original contract and communication was great. Responded to me well whenever I emailed. Monique did my make up and bridal party make up and it was perfect. Everyone looked beautiful and she did an excellent job!

Pretty Parlor is great to work with! If you like a more natural look, their's someone on their team of makeup artists that will work for you! The night before my wedding, the artist I had hired got sick and was unable to make it, but Mandy came to the rescue and offered the services of Monique. I showed her a photo of makeup I had done for a recent photoshoot and she replicated exactly! (I liked the recent shoot makeup better than my trial so I decided to pivot. The artists from my recent shoot and trial are both with Pretty Parlor) My makeup turned out incredible! And so did everyone else's. Highly recommend using Pretty Parlor for your wedding day makeup!

I was a bride planning a CA wedding from NYC, during covid. I’m not much of a makeup person and had no idea really on what I wanted in terms of makeup and hair. I was anxious about choosing someone from afar since I was unable to fly to CA for a trial. I chose Pretty Parlor based on reviews and their IG photos. I am so so ecstatic that I was able to work with them! I hired them and then did a trial the day before the wedding. I described and showed a few inspo photos and they were so perfect in their execution. They were extremely flexible and so accommodating when I had scheduling issues on the trial date and also when I had another person who needed hair and makeup done for the wedding. For the wedding day, they came up with a timeline and we ended up finishing way ahead of schedule. I felt and looked beautiful, they really understood how I wanted to look glamorous/different but also very natural. The makeup and hair stayed put for 12+ hours through an outdoor summer wedding! Thanks to them, I was confident and felt my absolute best! The entire wedding party loved their hair and makeup! Thank you!

The Pretty Parlor team was so flexible throughout this entire process. At multiple points, we changed our contract in order to add more services, and each time they were kind and understanding. We especially loved when they came to our house to do the bridal hair & make up trial. We all loved the hair and make up for the day of the wedding. They were especially responsive to the look we wanted for the wedding. Thank you ladies for making us feel elegant and beautiful. We couldn't have asked for better artists for our wedding.

Do yourself a favor and book these absolutely wonderful gals ASAP, for all of your wedding events. The Hair - Danielle is a rock star! You can throw any style, any pinterest picture, any crazy idea or any type of hair at her and she will give you a flawless look. She is so sweet and really made the whole getting ready process super fun. She even handled my difficult in-laws like a champ. All of the bridesmaids, and both moms were so incredibly happy with what she was able to do for us. My hair the day of was absolutely stunning. My hair usually cannot hold a curl at all but my curls and braid lasted ALL DAY! I got so many complements! The MAKEUP - Mandy makes you feel like a model! She listens to your makeup worries, your skin complaints and works her magic on you. I wanted a natural look and Mandy absolutely nailed it. All of the bridesmaids and both moms felt so pampered and beautiful. My makeup did not feel over caked on but I got the coverage I needed and I felt so beautiful all day. My makeup lasted all day and throughout the night dancing! I cannot recommend these girl enough and cannot thank them enough for a wonderful wedding day.

I was so pleased with the services that Mandy and Danielle provided for my bridesmaids and me. I have short hair and was nervous about finding a stylist who would be able to do with it what I imagined. Danielle did an amazing job styling my short hair exactly how I wanted it! She and Mandy were easy to contact and came to the venue to provide services for me and my girls. They are so easy to get along with and make a great pair. They were on time and got all our hair and makeup finished early! Everyone was so pleased with their hair and makeup, and it photographed so well. I would highly recommend hiring them both for hair and makeup!

These girls werre so fun and easy to work with! They made myself and my bridal party look absolutely stunning! I chose to do a hair and makeup trial a month before my wedding, but a week before decided to do something completely different with my hair. I was definitely nervous about having Danielle create my vision day of without going through another trial (not because I didn't trust her, but because I'm type A)! Nontheless, she nailed it and I absolutely loved my hair! Mandy also did a great job adjusting day of to the small tweaks I had her do with my makeup. Everything was flawless - they were both so professional, arrived on time and stayed on schedule, which is huge the morning of your wedding! Couldn't have asked for a better team! Thank you ladies!
