With that said, I will say prior to booking this venue seemed to be our perfect fit; However, there were some hiccups per say that could have been avoided. To start prior to booking and after booking we would text Angie confirming our names and date of our event to schedule meetings or visits this is when it became a bit disorganized where she would forget who we were our date etc which we had told her prior when scheduling a meeting/visit each time, no big deal happy to remind but still felt a little off. The next was we had been made aware she had a wedding the Friday before ours ( which was Saturday) not a problem as it was in a different building, but she seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and would keep confirming our guest count which including even vendors was under the 200 even under 150 for the package we paid as 14 days before the wedding we went to fill out the form necessary to confirm tables etc for the event we did meet with her for a question on how she wanted those confirmed as we were doing kings tables. As we informed her of requesting 64 banquet tables ( included with no limit listed on contract) she became a bit frustrated after some back and forth of how i only wanted 6 to 8 guests per king table she informed us for her inventory she only had 55 banquet tables which she needed for both weddings we advised we would readjust and try to make it within it but she did keep insisting on 12 per kings table to which i did not agree. i understand she needed tables for both weddings. it still felt she was guilting me to do it a specific way telling me itd look like people didnt show, i believe that should be my problem at the end of the day. We filled out the form for the tables we wanted listing what each table would be for and giving her freedom to set up how she recommended. she did keep coming back with questions some repetitive which became stressful for me. 3 days before the date she told me i didnt need a table for what i was asking to which i called explained and asked we get all questions out of the way she did say she was trying to help but it felt rude to tell me no you dont need a table for that when technically i didnt but i wanted that table for the water and lemonade for kids etc that werent drinking. in the end i got what i wanted anyway. The last thing was they did clean up chairs while we were taking photos after the ceremony which felt rude as it was while we were doing photos. The same with the reception as we were still celebrating ( which we had until 1130 and they were cleaning before this ) because of this we stayed longer packed up a lot so we didnt have to come back as early the next day. It just felt rushed and made me a little sad as i wish they would have waited till we were done for the night. Overall it is breathtaking venue with tons of potential. I will say i do recommend to have multiple meetings, expectations etc in the contract to avoid disorganization & last minute questions. By doing this i believe it would have been 100% perfect. Again I recommend this venue and id do it again just with a few extra steps to make it smooth for everyone involved.
