I was so happy to have our wedding at the Quad Club! The staff was so accommodating, the food was delicious (and I very much appreciated having the kitchen on site!), and the venue...
was convenient and beautiful. Our guests raved about the location and the photogenic space. I recommend renting both the first and second floors of the Club, using the bottom floor for cocktails, and then bringing the guests upstairs to the dining room for dinner and dancing. If you are looking for a historic, picturesque wedding venue in Hyde Park, the Quadrangle Club is the perfect backdrop for your special day!
Our communication with the Quadrangle Club was remarkably bad -- we had three different coordinators over the course of our year planning with them. A true highlight of wedding pl...
anning was when I got an email saying that the elevator is broken, hopefully all of our guests are able to take the stairs.
That being said, it all worked out very well the day of. Our pictures are beautiful and everyone had fun. The food was good.
The staff at the Quadrangle Club are so lovely and helpful. The club is beautiful and elegant . The food and service was outstanding! Cannot recommend enough. Just had my daughter ...
‘s wedding there August 2019. They also have guest rooms . Just a fabulous place to hold a reception in beautiful Hyde Park/ University of Chicago .
We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Quadrangle Club! The team at the Quadrangle Club made the planning process easy. They were very responsive and answered all of our que...
stions/emails thoroughly and in good time. They were flexible with different aspects (where to place the bar, tables, and DJ) by giving us recommendations but letting us make the final decisions. They were very accommodating with the tasting and when we needed to make small changes to the dishes they (the chef!) made it work. For example, we ended up taking aspects of two of the salads they offered and creating a new one for our salad course. Also, the main dining room is very beautiful and thus, we did not need to do much with decorations (only did floral table arrangements). This helped us reduce costs for our overall budget. We definitely recommend!
My husband said that the food was "okay" at the tasting, but they really stepped it up for the actual reception. The attendees loved the food! Megan, the special events coordinato...
r, is an absolute doll! She put up with us through every step, and even helped to set up tables and favors. The staff is second to none. They are professional and kind. I truly appreciate all they did to make my wedding a beautiful success. I think they should consider more choices for their wine list.
Michelle, the coordinator, was unbelievably easy to work with - very kind and always accommodating, as were the staff the day of the reception. The venue itself is beautiful, even ...
more so now that they have their own gorgeous chiavari chairs. (Saved a bundle on that one!) Bonus - they allow candles, which made for a romantic atmosphere. My husband and I wanted a black tie wedding, but felt the venues with the appropriate feel downtown were too steep. We were a little nervous to ask our guests to dress to the nines and head to Hyde Park, but it worked beautifully and everyone looked amazing against the elegant backdrop of the Quad Club. Could not have been more pleased!
