We were so excited about booking The R Factor for our June 2024 wedding and they delivered! All of our guests loved the band and it was so special to have live music for our first dances. One of my favorite memories was singing along with The R Factor with my sisters and mom during our wedding reception!

This flexible group can offer a 6-18-piece band, depending on each couple’s unique style and vision for their special day. The band boasts an incredible musical library that will delight guests of all ages, with over 750 songs in their repertoire. To-be-weds can pick and choose the tunes and genres that best reflect their personal preferences for a memorable night of dancing. The R Factor Band is led by musical directors, Emil Campbell II and Mark Lickteig, who have worked to form an incredible mix of vocalists and instrumentalists to exceed your wedding entertainment expectations. Depending on the wishes of the couple, the band can include a horn section, a rhythm section, and strings. Trumpet players, saxophonists, and organists are also available. Whether you are a fan of Motown, funk, classic hits, or rock and pop, these talented musicians will tailor their setlists to suit your style. They dress in formal attire such as tuxedos and occasion-wear unless you would prefer a more relaxed look to match your nuptial theme. The R Factor Band can create the perfect soundtrack for your entire wedding day, from the ceremony and cocktail hour to the evening reception. The team supplies music between breaks courtesy of a high-end sound system. They typically play a four-hour set with two intervals included. From high-end lighting to premium sound systems, they ensure that every detail is taken care of from start to finish.

them! I only have two complaints about them and they are what led me to leave this review: 1. They played the wrong song for our first dance. At first I didn't think it was a big deal but I wish they would have played the right one because I feel like we were so confused during our dance we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have. 2. I requested a lot of 90s hits and highlighted them red on my list we sent back when we suggested songs to play and they didn't play any of them. They still played great music but there were a couple I really wanted to hear. After their second break I asked the singer to play the one song I really wanted and he just laughed and didn't give me an answer and ended up never playing it. All in all they are a great band and we love how they entertained everyone at our wedding! But just those two things hold me back from giving them a perfect rating.

There's no one better. Don't bother booking anyone else. Serious talent here! My own wedding was the most upbeat event I've ever been to because of this crew.

Can't wait to party hard in a few short weeks!!! I don't think my review could possibly pay credit to the bumpin' dance party R factor always delivers...but I had to shout out nonetheless!

ily. They did a great job of mixing modern and older music to keep everyone happy. Their manager is much more responsive to email and phone calls than their band leader, though, and we had a couple of little bumps in the road (a check was lost, etc). And, though we had to pay $100 for the band to have our chosen first dance song charted, it seemed like the singer hadn't bothered to memorize the lyrics and flubbed them up a bit while he was reading them from his iPhone. That said, I think the only ones that noticed were us. Overall, I think the bumps were fairly insignificant given the performance.

have a little something for everyone at the dance. The energy they brought to the dance was amazing. We had people out on the dance floor all night long. We were able to pick the music we wanted from their play list. When they took a break, they would play music off the iPod we provided them with so there was no downtime. All of our guests commented on how great the band was. We spent more than hiring a DJ, but it will well worth it. If we were to do it all over again, I would still pick The R Factor.

sound like the stars they are - and they know how to work the room! Our dance floor was full from start to finish with guests of all ages, styles and backgrounds. The R Factor is a true crowd pleaser. At the end of the night I was moved to tears as they launched into the perfect finale, bringing everyone to their feet with my groom and me front and center! It was a dream ending to a wedding that surpassed all of my expectations. THANK YOU R FACTOR!
