5 Stars isn’t even enough!
We loved the venue, the bar staff and the owners. The RAS Hanger is not like any of the other venues to visited for our special day. We wanted laid back, casual yet nice. We were having food trucks and a party. They didn’t disappoint I anyway. The decor and space they offered was amazing, the yard games and property made our hot July wedding beautiful.
We didn’t have to bring in all your own decor and hall away, you didn’t have to stay after your wedding and clean up, you didn’t have to worry about setting up all the decor before hand. It really was the most relaxed day I could have asked for.
Our Dj didn’t have something to reach the venue that he needed and the Hanger was there to save the day.
Our food trucks pulled right up, and hand plenty of space! The bar staff was wonderful, talented, and made great mixed drinks.
My overall experience was for sure a 10, if you haven’t check out the RAS Hanger you really should give them a visit.

As a DJ Service, I had the honor of providing sound for a wedding ceremony and reception at the RAS Hangar.
Kim & Ryan were very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. Very easy to work with and good spirited.
Around the venue is beautiful. The wide open spaces and fall colors made a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony. The venue itself was HUGE and easily handled 200+ guests with plenty of room to spare.
The RAS Hangar is a perfect venue for a country themed wedding, family gathering or class reunion. Thank you for having me!

Blake and I are extremely grateful for Kim & Ryan going over and beyond to make our wedding day so beautiful and without a hiccup! Their venue is absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. Not only that but Kim has a lot of decor that she will let you borrow to help make your dreams come true!

The RAS Hangar was the perfect venue for our big day. We absolutely loved everything. Kim had tons of decorations for us to use and helped with the set up process before hand. If you’re looking for an outdoor or indoor ceremony location, along with a great reception space, this is the place for you!

This was a beautiful venue for my Son and Daughter in Law! The ceremony location was gorgeous. Inside the hanger was perfectly laid out for how we needed things and Kim and Ryan took care of so much and helped us with all of our last minute needs. They are so accommodating and easy to work with. With the time spent with them, we left feeling like they were family! There were so many decor choices for a bride and groom to choose from! We highly recommend this venue for the ceremony and reception!

Hands down the best venue you can get married at!!! After meeting Kim and Ryan when touring the venue, we knew immediately this was place we wanted to get married!! They’re so easy to work with and made the process stress free! The space they have created is beyond beautiful and everything we could have asked for. My husband and I are extremely happy we found The RAS hanger and if we could give them 6 stars we would do it in a heartbeat!!

The RAS Hanger is such a special place to get married! The owner communicated well with us and make sure we had everything we needed. She is super hands-on and makes it feel like the set up day (and the wedding day) go smooth.
The hanger is beautiful and spacious enough for larger weddings like I had. The area behind the the hanger is gorgeous with multiple locations to have ceremony outside.
I'm so happy we decided on The RAS Hanger! I would 100% recommend

What a beautiful venue set in a rural area with several outdoor ceremony spots to choose from and a large indoor area for the reception. The bridal suite is amazing and they continue to add amenities to the revenue. Kim is easy to work with and delivered with a lot of hard work that made our day easy.

From the minute we walked thru the doors at The RAS Hangar, I knew this was the place for my daughter’s wedding. Beautiful set up, easy to understand contract, no surprises. Kim and her staff were very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions to make the wedding day go seamlessly. The venue was very accommodating to the amount of people invited and our guests can’t stop talking about what a great reception and event space The RAS hangar is. A true gem for central IL!

Kim and Ryan were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process! The venue space is huge and easily accommodated our 165 guests. We had a big dance floor, room for bags sets, beautiful outdoor spaces for pictures and they have a ton of decor you can use! They helped us set up, throughout the night and tear down the next day. I highly recommend contacting Kim and Ryan for all event space needs, but especially weddings :)

But seriously, she is very easy to work with and is willing to help you with as much or as little as you need! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Kim helped us with additional decor and advice to give the venue that extra special touch. We received so many compliments from our guests about her staff and how helpful they were. She even accommodated to our grandparents who needed extra help getting to and from the outdoor ceremony location behind the venue. The bridal suite is very roomy and has the best lighting for hair and makeup. Our day was seriously a dream come true and Kim helped so much with making that dream a reality for us and we cannot thank her enough! I would highly recommend The RAS Hangar to anyone and everyone - near and far!

If you are looking for a wedding venue in central Illinois, then you can stop looking right now! Not only is the RAS Hanger a beautiful place to have a wedding and a wedding reception, but Kim is an absolute joy to work with. From the moment that we shook hands and started talking about our big day to the goodbye we waved as we drove away from our reception, Kim made all of our wedding planning a breeze. The hangar is gorgeous and features an abundance of beautiful places to take stunning photos. Our outdoor wedding was intimate and beautifully shaded by the trees on the property. Kim constantly communicated about decorations and even surprised us with a few special touches like only she can. The venue was open enough that everyone could spread out and have an amazing time. My wedding was PERFECT and I owe a huge amount to Kim and the RAS Hanger !!!

I was hired as a vendor for a wedding at The RAS Hangar and it was by far one of the most unique venues I’ve ever been too. My husband and I had our wedding out at The RAS Hangar, and LOVED everything about it. Everything was so beautiful and turned out perfect. Kim was extremely helpful and accommodating during the whole process, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her and all she did. The property is truly beautiful. We had an outdoor ceremony and got to choose the location we wanted to have it. Our reception was in the hangar, which was so spacious and fit everything we had planned. Everything was picture perfect. I recommend The RAS hangar to everyone!
