We had a guest count of 190!! We had room for their provided round tables (and provided linens and chairs), a sweetheart table, a 16x16 dance floor, a 4x8 stage, and still a 6’ table on the side of the auditorium room for beverages. The lobby was our cocktail hour room and with those lush lounge chairs and very cozy atmosphere, it felt like such an intimate setting! We never felt like we missed seeing friends.
We had a catering team come in, Love Catering, who did so great in accommodating the building with some specifications. Our guests were full and had plenty to drink from the three bars we had in the cocktail room. There was so much room! And there was space for people who needed a less-active area.
We designed posters to go in their 10 frames and it was such a fun surprise for our guests.
The first wow factor was our wedding announced on the marquee! The second wow factor were the custom movie posters! (Which we were able to bring into the cocktail room with a few more frames.) the third wow factor was the stunning auditorium room!
It truly was a remarkable venue. We were also able to have our ceremony under the open sky in Memorial Park across the way, and have our out-of-town guests stay at the Courtyard Marriott next door! It was a walkable neighborhood with easy access to freeways for in-town guests. It was a safe area and we were able to arrange validated parking at the parking garage—also next door!
It was a dream of a venue and we are so happy we chose Raymond Theatre (really, Diane) for our special day. Our guests can’t stop telling us what a fun and beautiful wedding it was :)
