The beautiful Reed Ballroom is the crown jewel atop the historic Reed Opera House in downtown Salem, Oregon. The spacious, 4500 s.f. ballroom accommodates up to 250 seated guests and will be set up according to your needs. The ceilings are decorated with glowing chandeliers and the large windows offer lovely views of the city and distant mountains. My husband and I had our wedding at the Reed opera House. There is a ballroom for about 230 people on the third floor, with shops downstairs. The room is beautiful, two of the walls have big windows and the walls are brick. We were very happy w...
ith our venue. The price was great, and out of all the places we looked at, the Reed Opera House was the best priced and we were not restricted to only 3-4 hours for our celebration. We had a small wedding of about 50 people and there was enough room we were able to have both the wedding and the reception in the same room. The only con about the place is there wasn’t really a place for me to get ready. I was in a hallway near the ballroom getting changed and my hair done.
