The Resort at Fredericksburg

The Resort at Fredericksburg was the perfect place for us to spend our big day! We had a large wedding, and the venue accommodated everyone comfortably with plenty of room to grow. We were able to accommodate family members and the bridal party on-site in the tiny homes they have available. The venue showcases the beautiful Hill Country landscape with a view of the Pedernales River, creating the perfect backdrop for ceremony, reception, and photos. We had an active group and allowed kids, so the putting green and outdoor games were a big hit! Inside, the venue is modern yet true to the Hill Country aesthetic, with high-end accents, beautiful light fixtures, and stained wood. Our sunset wedding took place in late October in the beautiful Hill Country of Fredericksburg, Texas, and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue than The Edge/The Resort at Fredericksburg. From the start, we knew we wanted to celebrate our day surrounded by family and close friends in a place that truly captured the spirit of the breathtaking Hill Country—and this venue delivered!  `   The Edge is more than just a winery—it’s a full experience. The views overlooking the scenic horizon made for a stunning sunset ceremony, and the atmosphere felt both intimate and unforgettable.  Barney and his team were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process; his communication, willingness to help, and attention to every detail while collaborating with our wedding planner helped to ensure everything came together seamlessly on our big day! One of the standout features is the on-site accommodations The Edge offers. The separate spaces for the bride and groom made getting ready easy and comfortable for both parties. At the heart of the celebration, the versatile open space seamlessly transformed into a beautiful setting for our catered dinner before becoming an energetic, inviting dance floor where guests gathered and celebrated late into the evening. Even better, the tiny homes available on-site allowed us and some of our guests to stay overnight and fully enjoy the experience without worrying about travel.   If you’re looking for a venue that captures the beauty of the Hill Country while also offering exceptional hospitality and convenience, we highly recommend The Edge to any couple anticipating their big day.
