The Respite

The Respite is a private estate situated on 2 lush acres within walking distance of the polo fields in Indio, California, featuring a newly constructed Guest House with a 1,000 sf great room and 24 ft high cathedral ceilings and a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen. The Guesthouse is adjacent to a 10,000 sf grass lawn, which features a large section of Tuscan pavers under mature shade trees and market lights to accommodate large open air events. The venue has a capacity for more than 500 guests. The Respite has distinct and separated wedding ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner party reception areas with beautiful landscaping and 360 degree mountain views to make for a perfect wedding venue. The Respite offers full-service luxury floral and event design and production. We accept only a limited number of weddings and events throughout the year so that we can service our guests as they deserve. The Respite is a luxury wedding and event venue, not a hotel or restaurant, so we custom tailor each event to meet your budget instead of offering generic packages. A decent wedding should budget around $100 pp just for food and bar. The best way to save money is to limit your guest count.
