We hosted our wedding weekend at The Retreat McCall and could not have asked for a better experience. The setting is the first thing that gets you — tucked just outside of town, it's the perfect accessible escape: quiet and immersed in the trees, but only minutes from everything McCall has to offer. The ceremony site looks out on stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forest, and the deck and reception area is massive and genuinely immersive. You feel like you're in the landscape rather than looking at it. Colby, the owner, was responsive from our very first inquiry and never made us feel like we were asking too much — he talked through every question patiently, and was always available when we needed him. That carried straight through to the event itself: easy to reach, present without hovering, and quick to help with anything we threw at him. Knowing this is a family-run property makes that kind of care make sense — it shows in every detail. The facility itself is upscale and beautifully maintained, but the atmosphere stays intimate, which was exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Colby and family. We wish you all our best!

ave ever seen and I owe that to the owners, Colby and Tammy. They have the most beautiful property and were so incredibly helpful all throughout checking in, setting up, and throughout the wedding. They checked in with me about whatever we needed the whole weekend we were there and when we did end up needing something, it was handled quickly and without fuss. The lodge is entirely new and has the coolest names for each room according to the wing they are in. Each room is beautiful, comfortable, and chic. I had 7 ladies (including the makeup artist) in my double queen room getting ready for the wedding and we were all able to move about without getting in the makeup artist’s way. Plus every room comes with a full size mirror which honestly saved us so many times! The outdoor party tent that was set up also had plenty of room for the 70 guests we had plus catering, a bar, dj, and a guest sign in table. This venue seriously has everything you could possibly ask for if you’re wanting an idyllic woodsy wedding! 10/10 stars, I freaking LOVED The Retreat McCall!!
