We had the BEST experience at the Rewind! Casey, Bryn, and the team are all amazing. They anticipated our every need and took care of everything. They had a lot of decor already th...
ere that we could use, and they put everything up and tore it all down for us so we could just enjoy our day. This place is well worth it! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, the venue is beautiful, and it was so convenient for family and friends to all stay in the hotel afterward. 10/10 recommend!
We absolutely loved The Rewind - aside from the obvious fact the place is stunning, we had the best customer service and support from Casey and the team. Everyone was so responsive...
and made our wedding vision come to life and then some. I absolutely recommend this place to couples looking for a venue - it was stress free, they took care of everything and the food was incredible!
We started our journey with the staff long before the pandemic shit downs planning our wedding. Amidst all the complications every person we worked with, spoke to and interacted wi...
th made the doubly stressful time the easiest, and most pleasant experience we could have ever wished for! The wedding was beautiful, the staff was excited and happy for us, to help and went ABOVE AND BEYOND what we hoped. Thank you all for the amazing experience!! 10/5 will be recommending any future brides to work with you!
This was the perfect venue for us! The location is great and how convenient to be connected to a hotel for our out of town guests. We have receieved so many compliments on the food...
that was catered by Johnny's. Gina is absolutely fantastic to work with, there is no way we could have kept everything organzied without her.
We had our wedding reception here in September 2017. We couldn’t have found a better place to have our reception! Gina was super easy to work with and very responsive to all of our...
questions (and there were a lot!) We got there the day before to set up and Gina was always around to help with anything we needed. The other staff at the hotel were awesome when we needed things at any time day or night. The reception and the food were wonderful! Gina had everything turned on and lit up before the party got there. She worked with us to get a timeline for the entire evening to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Tear down was made especially easy as the staff moved everything to one part of the ballroom so we could easily pack it and head home. We had so many wonderful comments from our guests about how awesome everything looked, the politeness of the staff and the wonderful food! We couldn’t have had a more perfect night!
We really did enjoy having our wedding reception at Holiday Inn Jordan Creek! The event planner, Gina was great to work with & would always get back to me promptly with any questio...
ns I had! The servers & other employees were also great! Only thing I would recommend is that they provide an ATM on site, with the cash bar option you can only use strictly cash, can't run tabs or use debit or credit card at all. And they don't have an ATM on site so that was a bit of an inconvenience. Everything else was great!
My husband and I decided to use Holiday Inn/Johnny's Italian Steakhouse for our reception site. We could not have made a more perfect choice! The event space was beautiful and pe...
rfect for our needs. The event coordinators we worked with were polite, friendly, helpful, and they really went out of their way to make our dream wedding reception a reality. The service staff was excellent, and our guests are still talking about the excellent food! It is quite pricey overall, but is very comparable or somewhat less expensive than other hotels in the area, and I would say the staff made it worth every penny.
Alice and Kayla at the Holiday Inn in West Des Moines, IA were nothing short of AMAZING to work with. They were kind, fun, excited for us, met our every need, and ran the whole n...
ight for us. The reception location was absolutely perfect...with a beautiful foyer for our cocktail hour. There was also an amazing patio with fireplace that was just for our wedding reception use. All of the servers were prompt and polite. Our guests got a very fair price on their rooms and they raved about the food from Johnny's Italian Steakhouse (part of the hotel). Johnny's Holiday Inn and Suites was the definition of a 5-star experience. Highly recommended.
We had our wedding reception at the Holiday Inn and from day 1 the staff was amazing. Alice and Kayla were very helpful and happy to recieve numerous emails / phone calls weekly wi...
th random questions my mom and I would come up with! We had a pretty strict budget and planned on around 250 guests - they helped to give us a package that met what we wanted and could afford. The day of the wedding everything went perfectly and dinner was delicious! We did steak/chicken and every table also gets salad and bread - many people commented on how good dinner was.
We had a great time that night and it really was everything we had hoped for. I loved the outside patio area with the fireplace, many guests enjoyed being out there to chat a little longer after we had to be out of the reception room. The hotel rooms themselves were also very nice and you can't beat just having to go up the elevator to a comfy room after a long day!
Working with Alice & Kayla was a pleasure. Our wedding day went so smoothly, I honestly can't believe it. They had everything covered so I didn't have to worry about anything other...
than having a great time with my guests. Kayla made herself available via text and email, so communication was quick and clear. They really made our wedding stress free & the best day of our lives!
Everyone at the wedding loves the food! And the staffs were amazing and so helpful!!!
Johnny's did a fantastic job at the reception! A large majority of our guests ordered the Parmesan Crusted New York Steak, and everyone I spoke with complimented the meal. The port...
ions were very large (which never happens, but people are always VERY hungry at weddings!) and everything tasted so delicious! We also had Angel Hair Basilico and Chicken Piccata, both of which were fantastic! The presentation was lovely, appetizers were to die for, and everything was delicious! I could go on and on about everything that was amazing about the Holiday Inn beyond Johnny's as well! My husband and I are extremely happy with our decision to have our reception at the Holiday Inn with Johnny's as our perfect caterer!
We had a plated dinner for 200 people, served by Johnny's. The food was excellent, but a little more expensive than I had wanted. The manager we worked with was good, but could h...
ave been a little more accommodating. We kind of had to bully him in to a free tasting at the restaurant. I'm sorry, but I think if we are spending over 10,000 on food and drink, we deserve to taste the meals for free. Also, the servers at the actual wedding all seemed very young and inexperienced. That being said, the food was wonderful.
Exclusive catering through our wedding venue (Blank Park Zoo), so we didn't really have a choice in the matter. However, the the food was great and the service was really great as...
well. The only qualms I had with them is that they were very expensive, and our food didn't exactly look like the food we had sampled when we were deciding on which meals to go with, but the food was still good. The salad rocked! I would reccommend them. Very fancy. Many plated dinner options for guests. Just a little on the pricier side.
I would recommend this property to any couple for their wedding. Alice Terrell and her staff are fantastic! The food was amazing and all our guests are still raving about it! Fan...
