I got a chance to see The Rhythm Kings at Jamboozies. They completely erupted the crowd into dance! They had very varied sets with great takes on each cover. Love Shack blew my mind. I got a chance to speak with a couple of them between sets, and they seemed very personable and passionate about their work. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

This band is a rocking good time. The lead guitarist is exceptional and the female vocalist has a ton of soul. This band makes an excellent party.

This band is great ! We had a ton of fun with them. The lady singer is terrific and the guitar playing guy singer is a double dose of talent. The horns really bring it home. I have suggested this band to our friends who are planning weddings in the next year. (Parents of brides/grooms)

The Rhythm Kings were amazing and so fun! They kept the dance floor packed all night. An amazing band was the most important thing for my husband and me on for our reception and they did not disappoint. They are super communicative leading up to the wedding and really willing to work with you on learning new songs and incorporating family traditions. Our guests loved the band so much that they started shouting "one more song" before the band left the stage. HIGHLY recommend. You will not be disappointed.

The Rhythm Kings were absolutely incredible! My husband and I are so happy that we picked them to play at our wedding at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. Jonathan was so easy to work with and did an amazing job selecting the songs to play during our reception. They have an amazing extensive song list that had our guests dancing the whole night long. They tailored their performance to the couple and their guests, so each time was unique. The vocals and horns are just so awesome and fun! I have been an event planner for over 25+ years and rarely do I see such great energy in a band. These guys are really really a true horn band, most bands I book are bands that can add a horn section but I would never consider them a true horn band.. Every single song with The Rhythm Kings is intentionally arranged to incorporate their 4 horns, so you have this driving sound coming at you all nite long. They will keep your dance floor packed all night long!!

The Rhythm Kings are fantastic! They truly set the tone for our wedding and helped make it the best day of our lives. They were flexible and easy to work, setting up phone calls whenever we wanted to touch base. Jonathon is so organized and goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. He secretly worked with my brother-in-law to learn songs he wrote and wanted to perform. It was an incredible surprise! I would 100% recommend the Rhythm Kings to perform at your wedding!

The Rhythm Kings played my brother's wedding and absolutely slayed in every aspect. It wasn't just, "Oh, fun band!" It was much more. The band learned a song I wrote and performed it onstage with me and my mother; they learned specific, obscure songs that probably only a few people wanted to hear, and absolutely crushed them. They were consummate professionals in the months leading up to the wedding, and at the wedding itself. They are the most accommodating band I could have imagined. Most importantly, they got everybody dancing, and they slapped smiles on my brother's and sister-in-law's faces all night long. They were the vital center of the wedding, and my family will be forever grateful to them.

They were very easy to work with and share our favorite songs; we did not hear a single song we did not like. We got married in the middle of a field, and that did not faze them at all; the sound was fantastic. They absolutely elevated our event to the next level. They were very professional and even embraced some silly musical traditions in my family. All of our guests raved about our band. I first saw the The Rhythm Kings perform at my cousin's wedding - an attempted lakeside outdoor reception hindered by a crazy storm. The Rhythm Kings played for my daughter's wedding in Petoskey, MI July '17. They were really really good and lived up to their name. Wide selection of songs, great at getting the audience involved, and excellent musicians. The main vocalist had a wonderful voice and brought a lot of emotion. The Rhythm Kings performed for our daughter’s wedding. Music was a top priority for the bride and groom. Having a live band was important to us. With the Rhythm Kings we all got more than we wanted. The Bride and Groom saw the band at a friend’s wedding. We did not go to that wedding so we went to a performance at a casino. What impressed us was the band's ability to read the crowd. They had many people up and dancing in the casino. Rhythm Kings was a great band the night of our daughter’s wedding. The music was multi generational and sounded wonderful and the dance floor was full till the very last song!

The Rhythm Kings are one of my favorite wedding bands! We always recommend them for their big sound and professionalism. It's important for a band to really understand a wedding, and these guys have it down. They'll absolutely take care of you! I wouldn't hesitate before booking. You won't regret it!

AN AMAZING WEDDING BAND! We were introduced to this band in 2014 at my brother's wedding, and they were so great we immediately booked them for our wedding in 8/2017! Their repertoire is a great mix of current hits and motown/90's. The dance floor was crowded the entire time! They were also nice enough to let our friend use their keyboard during the ceremony so he could play our processional/recessional music as a gift to us. They were overall wonderful to work/prep with, always responding promptly to emails and requests. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any wedding that has a dance floor! ;-)

The Rhythm Kings played at our wedding in August, and they totally made the reception! Jonathan was extremely professional and fantastic to work with leading up to the wedding, and he and the band were incredible the night of, playing a wide range of genres that appealed to guests of all ages. We received numerous compliments from our wedding guests about how it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and how much they loved the the band's music - many of them were sore the next day from dancing so much! Our main goal for our reception had been to make sure everyone had fun and stayed up dancing, and the Rhythm Kings definitely made that happen! I'd highly recommend them!!

We booked the Rhythm Kings for our July wedding and they were fantastic! Our guests danced the night away until the very last song and couldn’t stop talking about the band both during and after our wedding reception (they are still talking even after the honeymoon). The vocals and rhythm section were spot on and what can I say – the horn section was killer! I had numerous guests comment to me that they had never seen such a professional sounding and looking band at a wedding. A few guests even commented that our wedding reception was the first ever that they remained until the very end, and it was all because of the Rhythm Kings! Jonathan was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. We provided the band with a play list and some special request songs and they nailed every one of them. Thanks for making our wedding reception a memorable one – for both us and all of our guests!
