The Rickhouse is an ideal place to host an event, as you and your guests can take in the views of our distilling operations while enjoying our award-winning spirits and food. We can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated dinner and 150 guests for a cocktail reception-style event.
At Long Road, we are passionate about locally sourced food and handcrafted cocktails. Everything we do is done with intention and purpose. We source all our ingredients for both our food and spirits and all of our cocktails are made from scratch. All spirits that are poured at our bars are made in-house and our production facility can be viewed from the event space.
We’re ready to provide you and your guests with an experience as unique as our spirits, complete with a private bar and space for live music or entertainment.

Long Road distillers was more than we thought. It was a beautiful venue and our family had an amazing time. The service , the food, the drinks were all amazing. Jennifer went above and beyond to make our day memorable! I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding for friends and family.
I had my son’s rehearsal dinner at the Rickhouse and it was perfect!!! Jennifer was Awesome!!! The staff was Awesome! Everything was Great - the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the space, the smoothness of it all! I Highly recommend them!!!
We absolutely loved the Rickhouse! Jennifer was super helpful in the planning process and everyone on staff was thoughtful and attentive and super professional on the day. The food was great; the drinks were great; the price was incredibly reasonable. Can't say enough good about the whole experience.
We had our Rehearsal Dinner at the Rickhouse and LOVED it. The food was amazing and being able to choose a couple specific cocktail for our day was so much fun. The space is so cool and the communication with staff was great, they were so kind.
We had our wedding reception at The Rickhouse and had a blast. The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome. The bar staff was friendly and met our every expectation. The only thing I wish was different is that we never got to taste the food or our custom cocktail before the event. For instance, we did the slider bar and I would have liked to try the different slider meat options beforehand to better inform our choice. We also met with the beverage manager to consult on our cocktail and then he sent us what he came up with the week before the wedding. It all came out delicious, but it was hard to choose which drink we wanted without tasting it beforehand. A note, there is no elevator so a few of our older guests decided not to come to the reception because they could not go up and down the stairs to enter the venue. All of our guests raved about the unique and fun location and the delicious food and drinks, would absolutely plan an event here again.
We had our rehearsal dinner at The Rickhouse and it was absolutely perfect! Incredible venue with good food, great ambiance, ease of access and spacious. We had a fantastic experience with the staff (Jenney is incredibly helpful and great to work with!). It's also affordable - such a good deal for what we got! I would very highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a space to use.
My husband and I got married in Hawai’i and had a reception in the Rickhouse when we got back on October 27. EVERYONE loved it! The food was amazing/best wedding food anyone had (according to the guests), the BEST drinks at a wedding anyone has had, and AWESOME service! Everyone was so helpful! It’s been almost a week and people are still telling us how much they loved everything about our reception. For the price of this venue, and what you get out of it, this is hands down one of my favorite venues downtown Grand Rapids. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a unique, awesome space, to check this place out as a venue!!
The Long Road Distillers is one of our favorite places in Grand Rapids. With that being said choosing The Rickhouse as our Rehearsal Dinner location was the perfect fit. The staff are fantastic to work with and they made planning a piece of cake! Half of our guests were from out of town and were blown away by the amazing drinks, food, and service! Everyone is still talking about what a blast they had this night. Thank you Daniel for all you did to make this night so memorable!
