Nestled in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills, The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center offers a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Auburn, California, just northeast of Sacramento. Couples are supported by our on-site Venue Coordinator, who will guide you through the logistics of your special day—from layout planning to timeline support—ensuring everything runs smoothly so you can stay focused on what matters most: making memories.
Facilities and Capacity
Exchange vows beneath our 100-year-old Blue Oak Tree, a stunning natural ceremony site that accommodates up to 250 guests, or choose the Overlook Lawn, ideal for gatherings of up to 150 with panoramic golf course views.
Receptions can unfold inside our elegant Ballroom, complete with vaulted ceilings and soft neutral tones, or outdoors on the Sunset Patio, where guests can dine, dance, and celebrate under open skies. For more intimate celebrations, the Overlook Lawn can also be transformed into a charming reception space for up to 80 guests.

The Ridge offers three customizable wedding packages, each designed to simplify your planning while allowing you to personalize your experience. Packages include venue access, a curated list of trusted vendors, setup and breakdown, and various rental enhancements. Pricing is flexible depending on your event style, date, and guest count.

What initially drew us to picking The Ridge was that there weren't a bunch of added fees like many other venues. We also loved the view of the golf course from the ceremony location. We were then very impressed by how smoothly things felt leading up to the wedding, as well as on the wedding day itself. My husband's favorite part was the food tasting. They provide many delicious choices for dinner that it made it difficult for us to choose. Overall, I am extremely happy with The Ridge!

is huge, there are beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and when all of the other lights are dimmed low the room feels magical. Also, the food is AMAZING!!!! After my fiance and I had the tasting, I was craving the steak and chicken everyday leading up to our wedding day. No joke, I woke up and was like, "I can't wait to eat that steak!!!"
I had been working with Liz for 8 months leading up to my wedding, she's the event's coordinator and she's a life saver! She had an answer to all my questions.
I was that bride who wasn't stressed out on her wedding day. After planning for so long you get to the point where you don't care anymore because you know everything will be taken care of. Liz was so sweet and helpful, she made sure that everything ran smoothly and even brought champagne into the bridal suite for all my girls.
Overall, the venue was extremely affordable. Ladies, don't spend 12k on a venue that doesn't even quote you the dinning costs. Our total for the venue was less than 6k. You get Liz, awesome staff, amazing food, and gorgeous scenery to make for the most amazing day of your life! I would recommend this venue to everyone!!

The venue is beautiful inside and out. We held our ceremony underneath the large oak tree in the front, and our reception in the banquet hall.
