The Right Fit Dresses & Alterations

client and made the timeline work. The dress worked out beautifully after 2-3 fittings. A couple things I would say about The Right Fit: as it says online, it’s mostly a prom and pageant dress shop. It’s small and humble, with sparkle sequence and teenagers everywhere. There is nothing “bridal” about the feel of it, and you get no special treatment being a bride vs the 15 year old searching for homecoming dresses in the curtained cubby next to you. Deb is a little rough around the edges and she can be scatter brained, she definitely needs to be reminded who you are and when you need your dress, etc. That said, if you can withstand the abrasive bedside manner and aren’t looking for any special client experience, Deb is very good at what she does and will alter your dress so that it fits great, you just need the patience.

tightened, dress hemmed and, of course, the bustle done. I had a ball gown dress with 5 layers of fabric plus a thick layer of horse hair that made the bustle a puzzle to figure out. Debbie did a wonderful (if not magical) job!! The whole experience was great. She was easy to work with and more than accommodating coming in early the day before my wedding, so I did not have to carry my dress out in the rain a couple days before. The whole staff is outstanding! My bustle lasted all night even with my excessive dancing. My straps never fell. I’m so happy with how my dress turned out! This is your place to go for bridal alterations!

imaginable. The alterations department is amazing and you can see they take pride in their work. My daughter's bridesmaids dresses were absolutely beautiful and each girl received top notch service. The dress I chose as Mother of the Bride was absolutely perfect covered in lace and sparkle. The owner of the shop, Debbie Smith, has done an amazing job building this business and adding her personal touches to each and every one of her customers dresses. Thank you so much for helping to make my daughter's wedding so beautiful!
