The Right Track

The Right Track was absolutely fantastic, totally rocked and made our wedding reception so much fun! We had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour and the full band for our reception. The band was amazing - we received so many compliments from our guests on the band and how much fun they had listening and dancing to their music. The band had a ton of energy and their song list had something for everyone ( songs ranged from Bruno Mars to The Grateful Dead!). They also took on some special requests from us, which really helped to personalize the performance and experience. Jen was a pleasure to work with and made the planning process easy. We highly recommend The Right Track - so happy we booked them for our wedding!

Have you ever been to a wedding where every single person is on the dance floor? Because until our wedding I had never seen anything close to that. We did not have a single butt not on the dance floor once The Right Track got going- it was better than I ever could have imagined. They truly brought the perfect energy and fun that made every person want to get up and dance. Jen and co were so so wonderful to work with (even though we made things difficult and got married on Islesboro) and they made our lives so much easier with their attention to logistics and thinking ahead. I still can’t get over how much fun we and all of our guests had dancing the night away. The duos for ceremony and cocktail music were also perfect- just the perfect touch of funky to keep things interesting and they didn’t even hesitate when we had some out of the box song requests (10/10 recommend requesting East Bound and Down). They truly brought the house down with Love Shack and I will treasure that memory of being surrounded by people age 4-90 absolutely losing their minds dancing to the B52s for the rest of my life- thank you x 1000 Right Track!!

Wow! We got married on an island 13 miles off the coast of Maine and from the moment we connected with Jen, the planning was nearly effortless and seamless, even with having 10+ band members to accommodate in a challenging location that was not easy to get to. We were blown away by the communication, attention to detail (especially with song selections and dinner playlists), and the energy of the band. They were enthusiastic, gracious, and easy to work with, even with negotiating contract changes and final payments. We are so thrilled we chose The Right Track. We had a wonderful experience and now have memories to last us a lifetime.

Being able to email back and forth was a huge help as we were planning from out of state. The band was very accommodating and learned to play two songs for us- our first dance and a Grateful Dead song. Jen provided their song list for us to pick from and we were really happy with the selection! Once they began to play at our reception our guests immediately started dancing and didn't stop at all for the rest of the night! When looking for a live band, we wanted a group that would get everyone on the dance floor and The Right Track DELIVERED. We had so much fun all night and everyone couldn't stop telling us how much they loved the band. It truly made our event even more special. The band also provided music for our ceremony and were happy to learn music for our processional. As a final note, The Right Track was the perfect choice for us. All of the musicians were talented, professional, and honestly looked like they, too, were having a great time.
