The RiverCenter is a spacious banquet hall wedding venue located in downtown Davenport, IA. Two blocks away from the Mississippi River, this unique and modern venue is suited for hosting a variety of weddings and events. The location offers a huge amount of customization options, meaning that no matter what your wedding vision is, the dedicated and experienced team will faithfully bring it to life.
The RiverCenter offers plenty of choice when it comes to event space availability, making hosting both intimate small weddings and grand affairs an absolute breeze. The luxurious Mississippi Hall can accommodate up to 500 guests, while smaller spaces, such as the Upper Concourse and Lower Concourse are also available. The venue provides on-site parking. We are connected to the Hotel Blackhawk and The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, making it an excellent choice for traveling guests.
The RiverCenter will be your partner throughout the planning process. Jennifer, the in-house wedding coordinator, helps with every single detail. Her expertise will help you pick the right event space, menu, and decor. The venue provides all chairs, tables, linens, and skirting, as well staging and a dance floor.
Catering and bar services are handled by the in-house team, which is on hand to help you create the menu of your dreams. Both plated and buffet options can be arranged. A cake-cutting service is also available.

My daughter and I went to the River Center for the Van Gogh Exhibition. The whole experience was nice. The one thing that was frustrating was the parking garage. I understand it and repairs have to be done so we just went along with it, but all...
of the cones inside the garage were annoying. The River Center itself though does not disappoint! The Exhibit was great, and the atmosphere was outstanding! If you get a chance to go check it out you totally should!!

Very direct and easy to navigate. I went to the Van Gough experience, and I've always loved his work. Me and my aunt greatly enjoyed it.

Beyond Van Gough show. Has a brief history of Van Gough. Then you go into the next room they projected... the room is darker than photos show well worth the $44 price of admission

We had our wedding reception at the River Center and I cannot explain how GREAT of an experience we had. We worked closely with Jennifer, who is simply amazing. She helped us and guided us throughout the entire process from all of our question ...
upfront to determining food choices, lightening, and everything in between. On the day of set up, Jennifer and crew were amazing. They had all of the tables, linens, lights completely set up and ready for my crew to come in with table decor. She gave us OPTIONS and let us make the reception our own with all of her help. The night of the deception, Jennifer and TEAM were AMAZING. They were helpful, respectful, on point, quick, and ready to go. And the food, I cannot get over how many compliments we received on the food and the service of the River Center. After the reception, the River Center team was ready for pick up.
So grateful for the entire team. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer and team, as they truly made the best day of our lives, even better. Jennifer was so helpful throughout the entire process, I am truly grateful for her expertise and patience. We would recommend the River Center to anyone we know. We had such a great experience and our wedding was filled with an amazing experience.
