The Riverstone Barn

The Riverstone Barn is a family owned wedding venue in Riverside, Pennsylvania, just across the Susquehanna River from Danville. The barn itself dates back to the 1800s, and when we decided to turn it into a wedding venue, we wanted to keep what made it special in the first place. The original stone foundation, heavy timber construction, three cupolas, and character of the old barn are all still a big part of the space today. It feels like an old Pennsylvania barn because that's exactly what it is. Our goal is pretty simple, give couples a beautiful place to get married without making the process more complicated than it needs to be. We know how quickly wedding planning can become overwhelming, so we try to keep things flexible and straightforward. Our wedding package gives couples access to the barn throughout the wedding weekend instead of trying to squeeze decorating, rehearsing, celebrating, and cleaning up into a few hours. Tables and chairs are included, we'll handle their setup and teardown, and couples are welcome to use the decor we already have available. There's also an outdoor ceremony space next to the barn for couples who would like to have their ceremony and reception in one place. We're not trying to tell you exactly what your wedding should look like. We want to give you a great space, help where we can, and give you the freedom to make the day feel like yours. We're a small, local venue, so you'll work directly with us from your first tour through your wedding weekend. If you have a question, you'll know who you're talking to.
