The Roaming Pony is a mobile beverage service, ready to travel in the four-states area. Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The company offers a wide selection of packages, ranging from non-alcoholic beverages to luxury cocktails, wines, and beers. All packages include setup and teardown of the bar and decor, along with freshly prepared garnishes, mixers, and cups.
We currently have 2 renovated two-horse bumper trailers that were converted into a bar on wheels. Inspired by cowboy westerns, owner Amy Jones transformed the old trailers to resemble a traveling saloon, complete with wooden shiplap and authentic signage. The trailers are fully customizable and can be used as a deluxe dessert table or specialized cocktail bar. The Roaming Pony is an ode to Amy’s obsession with cowboys, and her saloon-themed bars are affectionately known as McCrae and Doc, after well-known legends.
The McCrae is located in Texarkana, Texas and is ready to travel all of Arkansas, the Northern Louisiana region and the Eastern Oklahoma region. The Doc Holliday is located in Nacogdoches, Texas ans is ready to travel all of Texas, Louisiana and the Western Oklahoma region.
As a self-proclaimed social butterfly, Amy loves every moment of bartending at weddings and helping you experience the time of your life. It is with great pleasure that Amy mixes and serves delicious, premium beverages for you and your guests on the big day.

Amy also asked if any of the guests could change her trailer tire that popped after she arrived. Two of the groom's in-laws changed it for her and missed roughly 2 hours of the reception. Later in the evening she told the Groom she did not see a point in staying and offered to put the alcohol inside the venue and leave. The Roaming Pony provided 3.5 hours of 7 hours of contracted service. Keep searching for your beverage bar, this ain't it!

The bartender was very … crass. She asked me on two different occasions, how many people remained at the reception in addition to telling me she was hungover. The drinks she had poured were very poor in taste. She appeared bothered to even have to be at the wedding.
After a couple hours, I had returned outside to get another drink when I saw a commotion of guests, groomsmen and the groom himself, carrying alcohol off of the trailer. It turns out, the bartender told the groom it was a waste of her time to stay with how few of people were there, so she left well before the reception was over.
I’m assuming there was a contract signed by the bridal couple. I can only imagine (being a previous bride myself), how stressful it was for this couple to pay a large sum of money, sign a contract, only to have their guests have to help empty the trailer because the bartender didn’t want to stick around to fulfill her duties.
Like I said, it’s a fun idea but it’s clearly not worth the risk if they are so easily swayed to leave receptions they were already paid for. This would be too stressful for bridal couples!

We paid an extra $390 in surcharge due to the increase in gas prices, us being considerate after she expressed this concern in an email. She did not bring all of the alcohol that was identified in the contract. My brother and two brother in laws then fixed her tire out of the kindness of their hearts. She then requested to leave early and she made known to several guests how hung over she was. Guests continuously communicated that the bartender appeared inconvenienced when they wanted to order a drink. The roaming pony did leave early after we allowed it due to all of the negative feedback we got from our guests and her negative attitude through the entire event. Overall, she made us feel like it was a huge inconvenience to her to even be there.

On the day of the wedding, the bartender was extremely late and unprepared. Several guests stated that the bartender was open about being hungover and not wanting to be there.
Upon arrival, she popped a tire and asked if guests of the wedding could fix it. Again, guests went to the store to fix her tire.
The bartender then approached the groom and suggested she just give the alcohol to the party as she didn’t think the party was big enough for her to stay and she had a long drive home. So this is what she did, leaving several hours before she was contracted for.
The bartender was extremely unprofessional and as of date, did not return any refund for the money spent on services that weren’t provided.
This is a great business idea, however, it appears they should not agree to weddings outside of their base and should put a minimal limit on how many guests must be at the wedding.
She was extremely unprofessional, rude to guests and demanding to the bridal couple. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Thousands of dollars were spent on a service not provided.

Unfortunately, she ran out of water 30 minutes into our reception and was a bartender short which caused a long line. Also, we did not realize how small the cups were going to be for the mixed drinks; about 6 oz plastic cups. Looking back, we should have asked and/or bought our own cups for her to use. She also started 30 minutes early and did not tell us until she was about to pack up 30 minutes before expected. It was a bit of a bumpy experience to be honest.
Overall, we understand that things happen and we hope this was just a one-off situation.
