The Rocks Estate is a top notch wedding venue at an affordable price. We reserved our weekend at The Rocks one year prior to our wedding date and both Amanda and Carleen From The Rocks were incredibly helpful providing us ample information and answering any questions we had over the year that we were planning our wedding. We loved that the venue provided three different ceremony sites to choose from including a beautiful garden, a view of the white mountains including Mt. Washington and among the Christmas Trees in their expansive farm. During the actual event The Rocks provided employees to help with duties including parking, bussing tables, and takedown at the end of the night. If you are looking for a venue to host a DIY wedding at an affordable price with breathtaking views of the White Mountains we highly recommend The Rocks Estate.
The Rocks Estate has become a very special place to my husband and I. We chose this venue because it was uniquely beautiful. Not only are the views of the White Mountains stunning, but the grounds themselves are so versatile and perfectly kept by the caring and attentive staff and volunteers. From day 1, Carleen helped to make our wedding everything we hoped for and more. They let us use the expansive grounds however suited us best, and worked with us offering their constant advice and assistance. The best part is that now, we have a special place where we can go every year to get a tree, support an important conservation institution, and remember the happiest day of our lives.
The Rocks is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I had a hard time imagining what my wedding would be like, didn't want anything too cliche. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the perfect sport for our wedding. The view is incredible and it has a very nice Victorian rusticness to it, beautiful gardens and a big old barn and goregous stone walls. Our pictures came out great. The one thing I would be weary of is that this is not a venue to take lightly... you really have to do everything yourself and the staff is great at providing what they know, but are by no means wedding planners in any sense of the word. You have to rent a tent, silverware, everything, but it is so worth it and ends up being much cheaper, plus you get what you want. Things move a little slower up there, but its something that in the end made me much more relaxed and focused on what's important. This is an especially great place if you have people coming from out of town (most everyone came from Boston or NY) and may not have seen the mountains. It really is spectacular, we got lots of comments.
