Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The team at the Room at 900 and MCR Designs were so professional and thorough. We were so thrilled with how all of the planning turned out t...
o become a wonderful memory for me, my husband, our family and our guests. The venue itself is very beautiful - it's quite different from other venues in the NEPA area. Many people commented on the fact that the venue was so different and eclectic. It's housed within the 900 Rutter Avenue building, and there's a lot of awesome artwork in the lobby area. This venue is a bit more of an industrial feel, which is where the industry is trending (getting away from the barn/rustic feel and more toward industrial/modern). I think those things were what attracted us to the venue in the first place and it did not disappoint. Amanda was our venue planner and she was always in contact with us and available if we needed anything. Brian was the florist and he was absolutely fantastic. My bouquet and the other floral arrangements were so stunning. John was very helpful throughout the whole process and I felt that he helped with some more overarching questions or issues. You do need to get most all of your services through MCR and the Room at 900, but I do think it is helpful to just work with one person/vendor, as opposed to finding someone for tables/chairs, someone for linens, someone for floral, etc. You are able to choose your own caterer from their list and even though there is no kitchen for them to use, somehow all of our food was absolutely perfect and HOT! Overall, we just keep saying to ourselves how wonderful the day went. Yes, a lot of planning goes into it, but I think that is up to the couple getting married. I'm a planner and I know that about myself so I was expecting to do a lot to make our day super special and unique to us. If you're looking for more of a hands-on venue, I would have an up front conversation with the staff from the Room at 900 and MCR about what they can provide. It was honestly the best day of our lives and we cannot thank the Room at 900 and the staff enough for helping us achieve exactly what we had in our minds! Thank you thank you thank you!
Beautiful venue, beautiful wedding, but not worth the stress.
Very poor communication, from the second we booked, up until the day of the wedding. At least a dozen invoicing issue...
s. Did not seem like we were a priority whatsoever.
Decor/flowers were beautiful. Brian, his designer was great.
One of the only positive experiences we had with this company.
The wedding DID turn out beautiful, but it was not worth the constant stress. For as much as you are spending with this company (since you have to get 98% of services through them), I did not feel like they were professional when it came to responsiveness/communication.
