I’ve loved every second of working with The Rose team. We had a huge wedding of 250 people. All I wanted was a space where I could see the guests all in one place. Most other venues said they could fit our size but some guests would be in a separate area— not my jam. From the beginning, the planning team was extraordinary. I told them I was overwhelmed with the process and felt pressured by other vendors. They adapted their communication to help me feel comfortable and supported. This meant everything to me. The organization kept me in check during the planning process and made sure that my fiance and I knew exactly what to do when. Patricia, especially, made sure we felt joyful and exciting about our upcoming day and helped us make decisions while explaining the rationale for different things (like plated versus buffet).
Day of was even better. The food was HOT when it got delivered to unsocial guests. HOW?? There were 250 guests and the food was somehow HOT. The guests afterward were amazed with how great the food was— from apps, to main meal, and dessert. We even added late night food last minute because how delicious everything was.
The staff was exceptionally fun and happy. At the end of the night I went to get a water from the bar and the bartender was smiling and seemed to be having fun— I’ve never seen that at a wedding!
If I did one thing differently it would be to tip everyone more. The whole staff deserves the world. Patricia, the venue coordinator, should run the world. I will follow her wherever she goes lol
Where to begin?! Booking The Rose (& Patricia!!) was the BEST decision we made during our wedding planning season! From the moment we toured The Rose, we knew we found a gem. Not only was the process of planning our wedding reception incredibly organized and streamlined but it was also truly thoughtful and fun! Patricia gave us such honest feedback, ideas, and tips as we navigated the countless decisions to make. I cannot emphasize enough how many compliments we received about how organized and beautiful our reception was - and that is all thanks to Patricia and her incredible staff! We are forever grateful for the wedding memories we have at The Rose! 🥂

The Rose is a historic venue located in Golden, Colorado; ideal for any size of wedding. This recently remodeled venue features dramatic historical elements, including large steel roof trusses, vintage brick walls and restoration of the original windows. The Rose's event upgrades include all new flooring, state-of-the-art lighting, audio, and visual systems, and a commercial kitchen that provides delectable catering. Their certified Special Event and Wedding Planners will assist with everything from developing a detailed event timeline, to customized floor plans, to vendor management and be your Day-of Coordinator on your wedding day! Conveniently nestled between 2 different hotels within walking distance, The Rose is an easy ride from Denver International Airport. Located in downtown Golden, along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, providing your and your guests with quick access to Clear Creek and all that the mountains have to offer.
Facilities and Capacity
The Rose offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces to celebrate any ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner or engagement party. The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests for a plated meal reception (275 for buffet). The main level consists of a lobby, a transitional bar area that opens up to the main space and an upper level with a private bar suite. The main room boasts a spacious dance floor and an elevated stage with a high-quality sound system. There are also two get-ready rooms ideal for preparation and relaxation.

- Patricia ZutmanDirector of Special EventsPatricia is the Director of Special Events for The Rose, owner of All Four Seasons Events – a full-service special event and wedding planning company founded in 2015, and a Certified Special Event and Wedding Planner. Patricia has been contracted with The Rose since 2018. As Director, Patricia oversees the entire Special Events teams and a multitude of events – from initial contact through execution. During The Rose’s first year of operation, Patricia coordinated nearly 100 events – from small birthday parties to graduations, non-profit fundraising events, a celebration of life, corporate conferences and networking events, holiday parties (big and small), as well as weddings. The success of The Rose has only increased Patricia’s workload, in a positive way, as hundreds of couples have been married at The Rose since opening in 2019. Patricia loves helping to plan and execute special events, but is especially driven when it comes to weddings, as this is her passion.
