From our first conversation, Lisa at The Rosy Posy understood exactly what we wanted and made the whole process so easy. We also decided later in the process to hire a florist and ...
this was not a problem for Lisa as she worked with us despite the short lead time. We shared a vision board and specific flower requests, and she didn't just meet our expectations—she blew past them. The florals transformed our venue, Sweeney Barn, in a way that's hard to put into words, and the unexpected touches of greenery around the card table and our signs added so much dimension to the space. Lisa was responsive to our questions and genuinely understood our vision, which meant everything to us. The quality of the flowers made them stunning, and every single detail came together perfectly on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to bring our dream to life with little meeting time and effort on our side. Highly recommend working with Lisa at The Rosy Posy.
Lisa was amazing!!!!!!

If you're like me and have been dreaming of your wedding day for decades, then you already have a pretty good idea of how you want your wedding florals to look. In that case, your...
florist is your most important vendor.
I reviewed about 5 floral proposals for my fall 2024 wedding, and The Rosy Posy was an easy choice. From our first meeting, she listened to my wants and turned a proposal around very quickly. A key differentiator in The Rosy Posy offerings is the access to extra "rentals," like custom mirrors, easels, flower boxes. An important part of my design was a floral draped cross, and with every other proposal I would have needed to outsource the cross. Other proposals also required me to rent a display board separately for my party favors, but The Rosy Posy had one and applied a custom message for me. I also had flowers coming out of my guestbook table and was able to use one of their tables.
Lisa is the sweetest. She is responsive and efficient in her communications. She was always very transparent to manage my expectations. Lisa quickly earned my trust. She has impeccable taste which gave me comfort in giving her creative freedom. Lisa made my bridal dreams come true. The floral quality is excellent. My favorite part was my bouquet. I asked for peonies mixed into a white rose bouquet, and Lisa went above and beyond to import peonies (out of season) for the most gorgeous bridal bouquet I've ever seen.
Throughout our process together, she invested time in ensuring we stayed on the same page for the design. My wedding venue was a small VA resort (The Inn at Willow Grove, and I wanted florals in various locations around the property. Two weeks before the wedding, my ceremony location was moved from a garden to a rain site we constructed via a tent. Lisa kept assuring "it's going to be beautiful." As stressed as I was, her words were very comforting. Lisa adapted to the changes, so much so that many of my guests did not know it was a last minute rain plan.
The Rosy Posy will be my forever florist! If you care as deeply as I did about your floral design, do not underestimate the value of a good florist. Lisa and her team are the best!
We found Lisa at the recommendation of our wedding planner, and we're so glad we did. From day one, she understood our vision for florals perfectly and she fully brought them to li...
fe on the wedding day. The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect, and she totally transformed our reception space into a moody, romantic vision with beautiful centerpieces and navy candles. She even ordered special ribbon for us to wrap around our bouquets and accents because it went with our wedding theme. At every point throughout the wedding planning process, it felt like she was there to answer our questions, brainstorm with us, and do whatever we needed to make our dreams a reality. She was always willing to have candid conversations with us about budget and shift things around to make sure we stayed at a price point where we were comfortable. She let us come to her studio and pick out little details, and was more than happy to provide additional items to decorate our reception and cocktail space. She's the best and we can't recommend her enough.
We cannot recommend the Rosy Posy highly enough! Their floral designs for our wedding were breathtaking and their execution was immaculate. Everything from my bridal bouquet to the...
table centerpieces to the floral arrangements on the pergola were perfect. Their pure artistic talent commends them to anyone, but it is the Rosy Posy’s professionalism that truly sets them apart. We came into this process completely naive and without any clear initial vision but the Rosy Posy went above and beyond in helping us determine our actual needs, including practical and honest guidance on balancing budgeting and aesthetics. They even went so far as to invite us to their studio to show us their products and designs, even arranging for table mock ups using sample linens we obtained from our other vendors, which was extremely helpful. But even having this initial preview, seeing the final result at our venue still took our breath away. Rest assured, with the Rosy Posy, your wedding is in excellent hands!
The Rosy Posy is by far the best flower vendor I have been to in quite some time. Everyone loved and commented on our beautiful arrangements. Would recommend to anyone!
Prior to contacting Rosy Posy, I was very hesitant as I was completely overwhelmed by florals and what I wanted for my wedding . Once I had a meeting with Lisa, and received the pr...
oposal, I felt relieved and knew I had to book! She was thorough, friendly, and answered all questions we had as well as provided suggestions. She also took the time to talk to us about specific flowers and even did table mockups close to the date. My vision was fully executed, and I was beyond pleased when I saw it all on the day! I can't say how happy I am to have had Lisa and her team be a part of my day!
I would highly recommend The Rosy Posy for any special event. In choosing a florist for my wedding, I was so impressed when I received the samples that Lisa created for my event. ...
Her attention to detail and ability to create what I described was uncanny. She was able to capture my vision and dream perfectly. I received so many compliments from attendees of the wedding and reception and have been asked numerous times for the name of the business. The table center pieces were striking and amazingly beautiful. She even included my fur babies which was so important to me.
I cannot fully capture in this review how professional and thorough Lisa and her team were. I will be eternally grateful to this amazing group for all of the efforts that went into making my ceremony and reception beautiful in every way.
Lisa is the owner at Rosy Posy, and she absolutely crushed it. Our venue came with just the floor and the walls, but when I saw it I immediately had a vision of a hidden ‘urban gar...
den’. I knew if we added a lot of greenery and candles, it would feel like stepping out of the city into an urban forest. When talking to potential vendors, I immediately knew that Lisa understood the vision. I originally described what I was looking for as ‘the season finale in a zombie show where the couple gets married in an abandoned warehouse that’s overgrown yet romantic’, which is completely absurd, but she got it and completely delivered. She came in to view the space with me, and helped make some recommendations like including a deconstructed arch and subbing out floral centerpieces for candles, and the final effect was incredible. The space looked completely transformed, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The bridal party florals (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.) were all beautiful, and my bouquet was an absolute dream. I got so many compliments the day of, and am so grateful to Lisa & the whole Rosy Posy team for making my vision come to life.
Lisa and the team produced absolutely fantastic florals that helped complete our wedding day vision! We had a mix of flowers and greenery, tall and short centerpieces, and an amazi...
ng white wisteria arch that was utilized for both the ceremony and the sweetheart table – everything turned out amazing and fit our color scheme and venue perfectly. She worked seamlessly with my wedding planner, and was quick to respond with any updates needed. I highly recommend the Rosy Posy!

ding up to and during the wedding we did run into some logistical challenges that is resulting in my lower review: they were non responsive for a few weeks and almost missed the COI deadline for our venue which would’ve resulted in them not being allowed on site. They showed up 2 hours late to ceremony set up altering where we did some of our pictures (comms on this were sent but to the wrong POC from our planner). And the team on-site did not help with the set up of our centerpiece candles which we had paid and contracted them to do.
Overall, the beautiful flowers made our day complete and created the perfect vision.

ht this to life. When I requested a darker wood arbor and vintage vases she was very accommodating to add these items to her inventory. The king protea in my bride bouquet was the star of the show! If you are thinking about having a focal floral in your bouquet, DO IT! Lisa was so lovely to work with and her creativity is unmatched. My wedding florals are truly so beautiful. I would, without a doubt, recommend Lisa for your future wedding!
Warning all brides now- do NOT work with this vendor.
This vendor did not follow what was contracted and was horribly rude when trying to communicate with her about the issues tha...
t happened. She threw all the issues back on me and blamed me for all the mistakes that were made mostly. Once the owner, Lisa, finally admitted to some wrong doing and offered a refund. I sent her my address but was never sent the refund and am still waiting on that refund check.
Lisa should know how she spoke and conducted business is wrong as she let me know she’s been in the business over 20 years in her tirade when discussing the issues post wedding.
I would be happy to share all communication I had with Lisa, my contract, photos of my inspo and actual wedding, and any other information needed to any bride in why they should not contract this vendor.
Words cannot even begin to express our appreciation and admiration for Lisa and her team at The Rosy Posy! Because of potential supply chain issues, we were unable to pin down, in ...
advance, what flowers would be used at my daughter's wedding. We selected a color pallet and, with a bit of trepidation, left it all up to Lisa. It was our best decision!
Despite rain and gusting winds, she pulled off the most magnificent, show stopping display of flowers! The colors and selection of flowers was simply gorgeous, truly special. Members of the bridal party were glued to the windows watching her work her magic despite being sopping wet! The skies cleared in time for the ceremony and you would never have known the challenges they dealt with to pull it all off!
Lisa, how do we begin to thank you!
Rosy Posy did an incredible job with the flowers for my wedding! I had asked for pink and coral colors and they did just that so everything was bright and beautiful. We did a mix o...
f tall and short centerpieces, we lined the entryway staircase with flowers, had bridal bouquets and boutineers, small flowers for the cocktail tables, and best of all, a huge, full flower arch for the outdoor ceremony. People gasped it was so gorgeous. We got lots of great photos under the flower arch and so did our guests. The flowers really elevated the venue and made it feel very classy and breathtaking. Rosy Posy was very easy to work with as well and made our vision even better than we imagined. We highly recommend them!!

r floral budget and deliver the soft, romantic look I was going for. She listened to exactly what I wanted and truly delivered! In addition, we were able to rent our welcome sign and table signs from the Rosy Posy, making the day of so much easier!
Lisa of The Rosy Posy is a delight to work with. I went into my wedding planning process not caring much about flowers, but in retrospect, I can't imagine my wedding without them. ...
She completely transformed the space and guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they looked. Because of the Rosy Posy, my venue went from a wooden rectangle to a dreamy wonderland. I'm absolutely thrilled with Lisa's work!

WOW is all I can say. Lisa and her team were able to pull off the impossible and create two very different feels for my wedding and yet have them "marry" perfectly. A classic and d...
reamy garden feel inside a winery barrel room for a "cathedral" feel and then a whimsical and bright design for upstairs for cocktails and reception. My bouquet was unbelievable - I gave Lisa some ideas of what I liked and she took it from there and RAN with it. Her team worked under some tough and hot conditions - pulling the whole thing off and more. It was unreal - the words don't do it justice. Lisa is also a sweetheart to work with and went over and above what we expected - I cried when my flowers began to wilt a week and a half after since I just wish I could've saved them all forever. If florals are important to your wedding you MUST hire this team. <3
Rosy Posy made our wedding celebration feel so special through their beautiful florals. Lisa was an absolute joy to work with - and just plain fun - and brought ideas to the table ...
in addition to seeing through our ideas and making them even better. Plus when we had in person meetings she had donuts. :) We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
15 stars for The Rosy Posy! We couldn't afford to break the bank with flowers, and Lisa was so incredibly helpful and accommodating with designing the perfect floral package for us...
. The centerpieces for our tables perfectly matched my bouquet and my bridesmaids' bouquets - our friends and family couldn't stop raving about how beautiful they were! Lisa absolutely nailed our "classic winter wedding" look and we're so grateful. If you're looking for a talented and friendly florals vendor in the DC/VA area, look no further!

etition!! Lisa & her team were delightful to work with and we had a great time visiting her studio as well! She didn't need any direction at all, and took my vague descriptions of our vision and transformed into a DREAM. Our guests were absolutely clamoring to take home the arrangements - they were gorgeous! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

that detailed out the layout for the flowers in every setting from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception.
She knew every detail that needed to be covered and we felt so confident leaving things in her experienced hands. But let's get to the most important thing...the flowers!! They were absolutely beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of. From the moment people stepped in to our ceremony through weeks after our wedding, our guests are still expressing how amazing the flowers were. Everyone was completely blown away! Not only was it perfect in the moment but it elevated all of our photos and we are still amazed every time we see our pics.
Lisa is also just a joy to work with! She is fun, spunky, positive, and loves love. She bends over backwards for her clients and has more than just flowers to offer. She has really anything and everything in her toolbox. She offered one of her walls for us to display our signature cocktails. In addition, as avid bikers, we were looking to incorporate a bike bar but weren't sure how to go about it. Then Lisa and her positive and innovative mind, got her extremely talented husband to build a bike bar that we used for welcome champagne as guests walked in! We give the highest possible recommendation to Lisa and The Rosy Posy! THANK YOU LISA!

were able to show examples of what we were envisioning, and Lisa was able to bring it to life and exceeded our expectations. In addition to our flowers, Lisa was able to assist with several different signs – welcome sign, memory table, guest book, table numbers, Mr. & Mrs. etc.. The center pieces were incredible, and we were so happy with how it turned out. Due to COVID-19, our headcount kept fluctuating, which impacted the total number of tables we needed. Lisa was extremely understanding and so flexible. Lisa was working with us the week up until our wedding to ensure we had everything we wanted. If you’re thinking of hiring The Rosy Posy for your upcoming wedding or event, stop right now and book them! We promise you will not be disappointed!

my wedding, but didn’t really have an exact idea in mind and I didn’t have any specific reference pictures for her to go off of. What she delivered was far better than anything I had imagined and it was absolutely perfect! She took all of my ideas and turned them into a beautiful display that really elevated our event space - she turned my vision into a reality. We got so many compliments on all of the florals, too! I highly recommend her and her team!

on in the planning process and I was excited to see how everything would turn out. I was FLOORED, everything was incredible the details were insane. The ceremony space was gorgeous and really brought our theme to light. I lost it when I saw the reception space, she truly brought fall and made my dreams come true. Lisa and her team are amazing!

and even when I had to last minute change my outdoor wedding into an indoor ceremony due to weather, she was up for the challenge immediately and ensured me it would still be everything I dreamed. Lisa and her team made a dream I didn't even know I had come true. The flowers for my wedding were everything I had in mind and more.
What is really worth the five stars, though,...
is Lisa's attitude throughout planning a Covid wedding. We moved the date 3 times and changed design gears. Each time, Lisa was 'ok let's make it happen, we can do that' to our vision.
We ended up with a summer wedding, and a lot more floral-focused than we initially thought back in Pre-Covid times. Lisa and her team must have picked the most beautiful blooms at the market. The arrangements all looked so healthy, vibrant and natural. They fit with our design scheme perfectly, and our guests are still talking about it.
Lisa also made our escort card wall, which was a pretty last minute request (8 weeks out from wedding). She was able to take my half-baked idea and make it into something beautiful, which is the hallmark of a true artist.
Thank you Lisa and team for everything!
Lisa did an incredible job making our vision come true. We gave her a pretty massive job, since greenery was our primary décor. We also had a lot of details up in the air until the...
last minute because our wedding was at the tail end of the pandemic, and she was so helpful and collected through it all. The best part is, despite there being a national floral shortage (thanks again to the pandemic and its resulting supply chain issues), she pulled together the most beautiful bouquets and table florals we’ve seen. She even had things like lanterns and loads of candles to layer in, which made our job (and rental contract) so much easier.
Lisa Gloff of The Rosy Posy came highly recommended by many of our vendors, and with good reason, she was amazing and a joy to work with every step of the way! From changes in our ...
date, to a change in venue 2 months before the wedding, which resulted in changes to our budget, Lisa was gracious and flexible through it all. Small businesses have been disproportionately hurt by all the restrictions resulting from the pandemic, but the wedding industry was hit especially hard. No matter how difficult things were for her as a small business owner, she approached every bump and change in our plans with understanding and empathy. She was just so impressively human! In circumstances where she could have just referenced the contract we’d signed and been done with the conversation, she never approached us in that way. She is a true professional. When Lisa arrived at our venue and started bringing in the flowers, I was floored! I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were, and I was immediately brought to tears. Our guests are still raving about how stunning our florals were, they really left an impression on everyone. Our event space was beautiful, but it was large and pretty much a blank canvas. When we got the disappointing news that rain was inevitable and our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside a few hours before we were walking down the aisle, Lisa and her team rallied and hustled to make a stunning floral display on the dance floor for us to get married under. She came so prepared, and even added a little here and there to make sure none of our displays looked unfinished. She thought of everything, and we are so grateful she lent us her talent on our most special day!

got her to do it. She took over by adding a lot of finishing touches to my DIY pieces. This allowed me to not have as many worries prior to the wedding and during set up! It was an absolute pleasure working with Lisa. She was able to accommodate us as we had to change plans a couple different times due to the military and COVID. My favorite part of the day was seeing all of my visions come to life and seeing the finished products all finally being put together. I would recommend Lisa and her team to any future brides as she did a wonderful job making my visions come to life!

She worked with us and listened to everything I said and let me tell you when I walked out I was FLOORED by how pretty everything was. It was GORGEOUS. People were telling me what a great job I did and how pretty the room was, but I feel like I really owe all that to Lisa! Flowers is the 1 thing my mom and I are obsessed with and we might have gone a little overboard with some of it... i mean we were in a botanical garden... but I wouldn't have done it any other way.
Thank you so much for everything Lisa!!
Sadly some guests ran away with the vases and my bouquet got lost in the clean up and me leaving..... Guess this just means I need to order more flowers!!!
