The Rowlands Photography and Filmmaking

y were incredibly accommodating all around- scheduling, location, financially, and more. They traveled to our home state of Colorado for our engagement shoot and we instantly felt like they were our people. One of my favorite memories of pre-wedding events is after our engagement photos were done, the 4 of us shared a few beers on top of the most beautiful mountains, overlooking our home. We cherish this memory. Onto the wedding day- the events leading up to it, Kyle and Charis were always flexible and ready to be where we needed them when we needed with no complaints. We changed our wedding plans and timeline no less than 100 times and every time, they were joyfully ready to tackle it. The day of the wedding, they brought a peace into the room that was not there before and that was desperately needed. Everything seemed to flow perfectly once they arrived. They acted as photographer, videographer, and in part, coordinators. Another of our favorite parts of the wedding day surrounded our "golden hour" photos. It was the only time during the wedding that we had time to ourselves, and Charis and Kyle exacerbated how special that was. They created an air of love and celebration and allowed us to just bask in our amazing day. A key memory was when we wrapped up the golden hour photos and asked for a photo with C & K. We adore the photo now, and as our memories fade, we will never forget the space they held surrounding and on our wedding day. I could go on for hours about how special C & K are to us, but I'll leave with this last highlight. They returned photos within 10 days (WHAT?! 800 photos, immaculately edited in under 2 weeks...), and video within one month. We couldn't be more thankful for Charis and Kyle and love that we get to keep with them on social media. We look forward to reconnecting with them when we can.

They not only gave us the memories to be able to look back on, but the pictures alone captured the stories and emotions of what actually happend that day. We can’t thank them enough for making everything so perfect and giving us photos that we will be posting and sharing for the rest of our lives!

For me, photography and videography was the most important decision when it came to wedding vendors because it is the only thing that truly lasts forever from your wedding. And we are definitely glad that we made the decision to trust Charis with such an important job of documenting our big day! :)
