The Royal Courtyard

My Fiance and I went into this place on Saturday to take a look at it for our wedding in April of next year. Noel gave us a tour of the property and then we sat down with the coordinator. We gave them the exact date that we were looking for and went through a few of the things that they offer and they told us they would present us with a proposal. We did get the proposal that day and emailed them on Saturday to let them know that we accept and asked how do we make the requested downpayment. Today Noel called my Fiance to let her know that a couple came in after us and was unsure about when they wanted to do their wedding so Noel and coordinator suggested to them the day that we came in and asked for! Now I am no expert in the wedding business but I would think that you would not suggest a day that someone just came in and asked for. These people paid their deposit and set that date. Had they asked for a deposit while we were there we would have given it to them or they could have at least called us to let us know that someone else was inquiring about that date and we would have paid it. This is a horrible way to do business and I would never recommend this place to anyone. If they treat you like this in the beginning, I would hate to see how they handle things later. It's a shame I have to even give them a one star review because they are not even worth that.

So far, I have only made a deposit on this venue and I must say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Royal Courtyard! Noel is the best! As the owner of the venue, he takes your vision into consideration and points you in the right direction and most importantly he is so honest and trustworthy. After my wedding, I'll be back to make another review!

The venue changed ownership after we originally signed the contract, but the new owner has made upgrades to the facility and was always accessible. Noel and the staff at The Royal Courtyard were wonderful to work with. We used our own centerpieces, but the staff helped with setting them up and putting out the favors and other items we dropped off the night before.

The Royal Courtyad is a great venue; our special day was wonderful! The staff was fabulous and professional. Great value for our money; you are treated like royality!
