The Roycroft was an absolutely gorgeous venue and the staff went above and beyond to make our event nearly perfect. The hotel rooms were also beautiful and well appointed, though ...
some guests noted excessive noise from the floor above due to creaky wooden floors (luckily the honeymoon suite was on the top floor!). The only complaint we had was the food as the quality and value of some items (Bloody Mary shrimp spoons and the “artisan” cheese platter and veggie/dip display were all very disappointing). I would rate them 4.7 and rounded up to 5.0 because overall everyone had a great time and we have wonderful memories of our wedding.
The wedding went off beautifully. They took good care of us.
The Roycroft was my daughter's choice of venue for it's historical ambiance and food. The food did not disappoint and our guests enjoyed the evening however the planning was less t...
han satisfactory. We had many questions that went unanswered by email and phone. They seemed inconvenienced by the plans we had to make the event special bringing in our own decor and not just renting it through their preferred vendors. There was only one bartender for our 130 guests and I was embarrassed at the long line our guests formed. Some guests waited an hour for their meal which I gather happens at weddings but we were told they could handle up to 160 guests. The event ended at 10:45 and staff was flying to break down tables as they had another event the next day. I had to have staff hunt down the cake top the next day and found plated cookies that were not used. I feel this venue is best suited to a small simple event. I do not feel the attention and service was suitable for the $100 per person it cost.
A unique, beautiful, historical place to have your wedding. David was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process, and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding t...
urned out. Our guests are still talking about how charming the Roycroft was, and how delicious the food was too! (Seriously, the food alone is worth it.) My husband and I really loved how un-cookie-cutter everything felt. If you're looking for a venue that has historical ambiance and charm, definitely consider the Roycroft!
The perfect venue! So beautiful and completely accommodating. David Majka is the best event coordinator you could ever hope for!

My husband and I never dreamed we could have a wedding at such a beautiful location. My parents have always visited the Roycroft Campus and turned us onto it. The food was superb, ...
the location had various spots for beautiful photos, and the staff was so kind and accommodating. We couldn't have been happier. It really was the wedding of our dreams.
This was the Inn in our hometown and we loved the history associated with the Roycroft Campus. The event staff was fantastic and accommodating! The food was excellent and the waits...
taff went the extra mile in making sure everyone had drinks and desserts saved, even til the end of the night. We worked with the relaxed elegant atmosphere of the place and didn't go overboard with crystal or flowers and it made for a great summer evening wedding!
I knew I wanted to have my wedding at the Roycroft Inn from the moment I found out they hosted receptions. I had a total capacity that allowed my to have the small intimate wedding...
I dreamed of (80 people), delicious food and local charm. Set in the beautiful and quaint village of East Aurora, it was the perfect spot! They had a very flexible menu/bar that allowed you to be as lavish, or budget friendly as you would like. Highlights: 1. The reception coordinator, Dave, it easy to work with and get a hold of. 2. Our bartender literally remembered everyone's drink and would have it prepared before they even reached the bar. 3. The space itself -- we were allowed to set up in three rooms which allowed guests to mingle around as they liked. We also utilized the courtyard. 4. The food was amazing and did not feel like "mass catered fare". 5. My pictures came out amazing as I had this historic inn as a beautiful backdrop. The only downside I saw was it was a bit hot in the main room/dance floor. Given the building it probably 100 years old I don't really feel like that is a fair "negative". The building wasn't exactly built with AC in mind. Brides & Grooms - be sure to rent a room to stay over in, and stay for Sunday Brunch in the morning!
