Sasha is the best! Desserts are my absolute favorite thing so I knew I wanted to have very personalized and fun desserts at my wedding and Sasha delivered! Not only were all the treats absolutely delicious, they looked so beautiful as well! All of cake, cupcakes and macrons were amazing. Sasha was truly wonderful to work with, and her cakes are absolutely AMAZING. We had multiple guests (including my husband) who don’t generally like sweets/icing/cake in general eat two or more slices of our wedding cake. I’ll definitely be ordering more desserts from Sasha in the future, and would absolutely recommend Sandpiper Bakery to anyone looking for delicious desserts!

All of our communication was via email, there were absolutely no issues what so ever and I changed the order a few times. The cake was beautiful - exactly what we wanted. Our guests began to eat before we did, all we heard was - oh wow, this is so good They were definitely correct. Sandpiper Bakery (Sasha) was absolutely amazing. Wow - her talent for baking is unlike any other. Sasha does all her own baking of small desserts to big event cakes. We had Sasha do our desserts and wedding cake for our wedding day 9/22/23 at The Meeting House in York, ME. The desserts were amazing and our guests could not stop talking about the whoopie pies! She was so concise, excellent with communication and great pricing. I highly recommend Sandpiper Bakery for any dessert and/or cake needs especially for your wedding!

Sasha baked our dessert bar and two tier cake for our wedding. There are absolutely no words for how AMAZING her desserts are! Please stop looking at vendors for your desserts, because Sasha cannot be beat. We were able to taste 6 different cake bases and frostings to pick out our flavors. I was expecting mini cupcakes, but no, the tasting came with two full size large cupcakes of each flavor combination! For our wedding we ordered three flavor combinations of cupcakes plus whoopie pies. When I say people could not stop talking about the desserts, I am not exaggerating! The whoopie pies were gone immediately! Everyone we talked to after cutting the cake started by talking about the desserts. I had people asking me where Sasha's shop is located so they could pick up baked goods or order baked goods. Sasha stages the desserts at the venue beautifully! Please please please book Sasha! I need other people to experience her INSANE desserts!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Sasha for my wedding cake. She was extremely responsive during the planning process and flexible scheduling a tasting since I had limited availability travelling into town. The cake was beautiful and matched my wedding vibe perfectly despite giving her limited input on what design I wanted. We absolutely ADORED the cake Sasha made for our wedding. She absolutely nailed our vision, and added so much creativity to our wedding cake. It was better than anything we could have dreamed up! Our cake was both visually STUNNING, and equally DELICIOUS. I've been so many weddings where the cake was really beautiful but didn't necessarily taste as good as it looked. For our wedding, Sasha made a cake in addition to 4 different flavors of cupcakes. We loved being able to have a variety of seasonal and unique flavors that reminded us of why we love Maine. Many of our guests were taking home the cupcakes at the end of the night; we did not have any left. We were so happy with how everything tasted and looked. We loved how we were able to get a multiple tiered cake with different flavors to reflect what my wife and I liked. Sasha accommodated our wedding as we had to move it out a year due to covid. She did not hesitate to squeeze us into her already busy schedule for the following year. Sasha made it so easy to communicate what we needed to plan for our wedding day. She always responded in a timely manner. Sasha is a kind and hard working person who we would recommend to anyone for any occasion as you can tell how passionate she is about what she does.

The Sandpiper Cake Shop blew away our expectations. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process seamless. Often times wedding cakes look pretty but don't taste great. However, our cake from the Sandpiper Cake Shop was both beautiful and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend them to any bride!

I cannot recommend Sandpiper enough. The cake Sasha made for my wedding is the best cake ive ever tasted in my entire life. Every guest at my wedding said it was the best cake they've ever had as well, BY FAR. It was also beautiful and she is a sweetheart to work with to come up with the best design for 200 people. Our wedding was literally perfect and I think one of my most favorite things about my wedding was this cake. We froze the top and ive been eating pieces ever since and each time it slowly defrosts it tastes incredible good even a month after. clearly it is high quality ingredients, moist and heavier but still light and the frosting is soooo high quality. Cake is my favorite food and I like vanilla on vanilla. I was offered a free cake as part of my package from the venue from another bakery nearby but... it tasted artificial. i then went to 3 other nearby bakeries on the seacost but none of the cakes tasted right, they tasted weird like fake, I can't really explain it. I found Sasha on instagram and I could tell she was the real deal and boy was I right. Luckily for me she fit me into her schedule which was already fully booked. The samples she made me were incredible. Vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting AND creamcheese frosting. But book fast, because she is going to book out her season soon!

Sasha made our delicious wedding cake and desserts for our wedding. Our guests are still talking about the yummy mini blueberry pies. :) Sasha is professional, kind, and so talented! We had to change our venue a few months before the wedding and Sasha was super flexible about it. We just asked Sasha to remake our wedding cake for our one year anniversary and it was just a delicious as the day of our wedding!

I’m surprised the Sandpiper Cake Shop doesn’t have more reviews! My husband and I were very happy with how our cake turned out. Sasha made us a two tier cake for the cake cutting and made cupcakes for our guests. They looked amazing and the guests loved them. So much so, in fact, that there were a few cupcakes sampled before they were meant to be taken lol! Sasha and her team were very professional and everything turned out great. Definitely recommend!

Sasha is absolutely incredible to work with. A scratch baker of her caliber is hard to come by. She made everything easy - and delicious! Sasha made the most delicious cake and desserts for our wedding day! She such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. From being super responsive and helpful over email, to putting together an amazing tasting, to literally making all our fall dessert dreams come true! It was really important to us to not only have a small cutting cake for our wedding day, but also mini pies (my husbands favorite dessert) and whoopie pies as well. It was such a relief to be able to find a bakery in the York area that not only made amazing cakes, but all of the other desserts we were looking for, all under one roof. Like a typical busy bride, I didn't get to taste any of the desserts on the actual wedding day (except for the little piece of cake we cut at the reception), but all of our guests RAVED about the desserts and I understood why when I finally got to taste them the next day. We even froze part of the cake while we were away on our honeymoon, defrosted it when we got back, and it STILL tasted as delicious and fresh as it did on wedding day. You cannot go wrong with booking Sasha for your wedding cake and dessert needs!

I hired Sasha from Sandpiper Cake Shop to make my wedding cake and I’m so glad I did! She made a 6 in cutting cake that was delicious, along with mini cupcakes. The mini cupcakes were sooo good! And something easy to grab for guests. She has made personalized cookies for my favors. The turned out beautiful and the guests loved them. Everything was perfect! Thank you Sasha!!

Sasha makes beautiful, unique cakes. The cake at our wedding was delicious, elegant, and understated. She took flowers from our florist to create an elegant design that matched our vision for the day. Our guests enjoyed all three amazing flavors of cupcakes. What bride forgets about their wedding cake? This girl!! Two weeks before my wedding I realized that I didn’t have a wedding cake! With all the cancellations and rescheduling, the cake fell through the cracks. I contacted Sasha and she was on point and she came through. She was so sweet and worked with me to give the most beautiful wedding cake. She knew exactly what I wanted before I knew what wanted. I sent two photos of my wedding gown and described my venue and WOW! I can’t put into words how amazing my experience was. Then she made me gluten free cupcakes that were out of this world!

I was actually looking for a custom birthday cake and found the Sandpiper Cake shop through the Knot. Sasha was extremely easy to work with via email, which I appreciated due to my schedule. She responded quickly and worked with me on ideas. I also really like the ability to pay online.

Sasha is amazing! She did my cake for my bridal shower, and it was such a hit! The cake was so amazing that even my fiancé ate it and he does not eat cake! Since it was such a hit, we ended up ordering a custom cake from her a couple months later. She was very quick to respond, professional, and helped me sort through my ideas of what I was trying to envision and what my price range was. The final product was way better than I could have imagined! I definitely recommend her if you need something bridal, custom, or something for the holidays!

When my now husband and I met Sasha at a wedding show in Durham we fell in love with her black velvet cupcakes and knew right away we wanted to hire her for our wedding. She had so many great flavor options, it was so difficult to choose. We ended up with four different mini cupcake flavors and a two tiered cutting cake that looked identical to the inspiration photo I shared with her. Sasha was so personable and professional our entire experience, I would highly recommend her to anyone. We can’t wait to have more of her amazing desserts in the future!

Sasha was a joy to work with and an easy choice for our sweetheart wedding cake! She spent time with us working through our options and offered pickup to a local florist for the floral cake topper, as well as local delivery to our wedding in York, Maine. We did all of our planning from a distance, and weren’t able to travel for a tasting, but the flavors were outstanding! We decided on a vanilla buttercream with vanilla cake and strawberry filling. The cake itself looked like it belonged in a magazine. Sasha took our picture from Pinterest and created it in real life! I’d definitely recommend the Sandpiper to anyone celebrating in the sea coast area!

Today my fiancé and I met Sasha for a wedding cake consultation/tasting. The Sandpiper Cake Shop was recommended to me by a coworker so I was hopeful it could be THE cake we choose! Booking the tasting was very easy. Sasha was great with her communication via email. One of the biggest reasons we were excited to try her cakes is because she can do gluten free! We were not disappointed! Dare I say, the chocolate gluten free cake tastes better than regular cake?! We tried several other flavors of cake and frostings and are very excited for our choices! I definitely recommend you work with her for your wedding or any event.
