The Sandpiper Cake Shop

it was exactly what I envisioned. From the start, she was so kind, professional, and communicative, making the process stress-free and fun. Our tasting was such a highlight, we got so many incredible flavors to try (and had plenty left over to share with our families, who loved them just as much as we did!). In the end, we went with our personal favorite, carrot cake, and it was truly delicious. On our wedding day, the cake was picture-perfect for our cake cutting and tasted just as amazing as we remembered. We’ve saved and sealed the rest to enjoy on our anniversary, and I already can’t wait to have it again. I can’t recommend Sasha enough for anyone looking for a wedding cake that is both beautiful and absolutely delicious!

e frosting design. Sasha was extremely accommodating with requests, including our own vintage cake toppers and the outcome was nothing short of amazing! Our guests loved everything about the cakes, the flavor was great, they were very moist, and the fillings were incredible! I would absolutely recommend Sandpiper for any of your special treats!

t to help celebrate all of our fun life events.

was absolutely gorgeous as well! Sasha made the entire process easy and stress free all while doing so with a smile that lets you know she absolutely loves what she’s doing! People could not stop commenting on how much they loved the cupcakes we had. We enjoyed working with Sasha so much, we came back to her when it was time for our gender reveal cake as well!

ist, and taste amazing

ople brought every last one home. She offers a variety of flavors and options for desserts, so there is something for everyone. The cake was decorated exactly as I wanted, and the blueberry lemon cake the butter cream frosting were outstanding. I would highly recommend Sandpiper Cake Shop for your wedding!

questions and the ordering process was simple. She worked with me to schedule a time to do a tasting. She set up the dessert display and it was beautiful. We had so many compliments on how tasty all our desserts were!!

Not only did our wedding cake look beautiful, it was so delicious as well!!! Highly recommend booking The Sandpiper Cake Shop for your wedding - you will not be disappointed!

t two or more slices of our wedding cake. I’ll definitely be ordering more desserts from Sasha in the future, and would absolutely recommend Sandpiper Bakery to anyone looking for delicious desserts!

ding. It was so delicious we ended up eating our saved anniversary pieces ◡̈ we will definitely be back for more desserts by Sasha. Highly highly recommend!

ues what so ever and I changed the order a few times. The cake was beautiful - exactly what we wanted. Our guests began to eat before we did, all we heard was - oh wow, this is so good They were definitely correct. Thank you Sasha, for being easy to work with from a distance, the cake was beautiful and so good!!

o our desserts and wedding cake for our wedding day 9/22/23 at The Meeting House in York, ME. The desserts were amazing and our guests could not stop talking about the whoopie pies! She was so concise, excellent with communication and great pricing. I highly recommend Sandpiper Bakery for any dessert and/or cake needs especially for your wedding!

blueberry compote; it looked so beautiful, and somehow it tasted even better! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

ecause Sasha cannot be beat. We were able to taste 6 different cake bases and frostings to pick out our flavors. I was expecting mini cupcakes, but no, the tasting came with two full size large cupcakes of each flavor combination! For our wedding we ordered three flavor combinations of cupcakes plus whoopie pies. When I say people could not stop talking about the desserts, I am not exaggerating! The whoopie pies were gone immediately! Everyone we talked to after cutting the cake started by talking about the desserts. I had people asking me where Sasha's shop is located so they could pick up baked goods or order baked goods. Sasha stages the desserts at the venue beautifully! Please please please book Sasha! I need other people to experience her INSANE desserts!

ce I had limited availability travelling into town. The cake was beautiful and matched my wedding vibe perfectly despite giving her limited input on what design I wanted. Multiple guests also reached out to let me know it was the best tasting wedding cake they have ever had. I would highly recommend working with her!

reated the wedding cake we dreamed of. She not only makes beautiful cakes, but delicious as well! We got so many compliments on the beauty and taste of our cake. Sasha created a custom design for us based on our preferences and we could not have been happier. The entire process was fun and easy. She delivered exactly what we hoped for. I would book Sasha again and again.

ave dreamed up! Our cake was both visually STUNNING, and equally DELICIOUS. I've been so many weddings where the cake was really beautiful but didn't necessarily taste as good as it looked. Sasha absolutely nailed both categories. Our guests could not stop talking about this cake, and there was not one slice left over!! Sasha was so, so easy to work with and really went the extra mile to ensure our wedding cake was everything we wanted. I HIGHLY recommend working with her.

order more delicious goodies from her for future celebrations!

ove Maine. Many of our guests were taking home the cupcakes at the end of the night; we did not have any left. We were so happy with how everything tasted and looked. We loved how we were able to get a multiple tiered cake with different flavors to reflect what my wife and I liked. Sasha accommodated our wedding as we had to move it out a year due to covid. She did not hesitate to squeeze us into her already busy schedule for the following year. Sasha made it so easy to communicate what we needed to plan for our wedding day. She always responded in a timely manner. Sasha is a kind and hard working person who we would recommend to anyone for any occasion as you can tell how passionate she is about what she does.

taste great. However, our cake from the Sandpiper Cake Shop was both beautiful and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend them to any bride!

've ever had as well, BY FAR. It was also beautiful and she is a sweetheart to work with to come up with the best design for 200 people. Our wedding was literally perfect and I think one of my most favorite things about my wedding was this cake. We froze the top and ive been eating pieces ever since and each time it slowly defrosts it tastes incredible good even a month after. clearly it is high quality ingredients, moist and heavier but still light and the frosting is soooo high quality. Cake is my favorite food and I like vanilla on vanilla. I was offered a free cake as part of my package from the venue from another bakery nearby but... it tasted artificial. i then went to 3 other nearby bakeries on the seacost but none of the cakes tasted right, they tasted weird like fake, I can't really explain it. I found Sasha on instagram and I could tell she was the real deal and boy was I right. Luckily for me she fit me into her schedule which was already fully booked. The samples she made me were incredible. Vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting AND creamcheese frosting. But book fast, because she is going to book out her season soon!

the couple, but for our guests as well. Highly recommend getting The Sandpiper Cake Shop to do any wedding dessert needs you may need!

ted! We had to change our venue a few months before the wedding and Sasha was super flexible about it. We just asked Sasha to remake our wedding cake for our one year anniversary and it was just a delicious as the day of our wedding!

set up- we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Not to mention, the cake was beautiful and delicious!

the mini-cupcakes and whoopie pies were favorites among the guests!

creative flavors. Our guests loved every bite!

nd made cupcakes for our guests. They looked amazing and the guests loved them. So much so, in fact, that there were a few cupcakes sampled before they were meant to be taken lol! Sasha and her team were very professional and everything turned out great. Definitely recommend!

'day of' and the whole setup. The cake was THE BEST EVER. She took my vision of including my dog, and just ran with it! Thank you, Sasha!!

utting together an amazing tasting, to literally making all our fall dessert dreams come true! It was really important to us to not only have a small cutting cake for our wedding day, but also mini pies (my husbands favorite dessert) and whoopie pies as well. It was such a relief to be able to find a bakery in the York area that not only made amazing cakes, but all of the other desserts we were looking for, all under one roof. Like a typical busy bride, I didn't get to taste any of the desserts on the actual wedding day (except for the little piece of cake we cut at the reception), but all of our guests RAVED about the desserts and I understood why when I finally got to taste them the next day. We even froze part of the cake while we were away on our honeymoon, defrosted it when we got back, and it STILL tasted as delicious and fresh as it did on wedding day. You cannot go wrong with booking Sasha for your wedding cake and dessert needs!

ed. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary cake. Thank you for being a part of our special day Sasha!

ere sooo good! And something easy to grab for guests. She has made personalized cookies for my favors. The turned out beautiful and the guests loved them. Everything was perfect! Thank you Sasha!!

vision for the day. Our guests enjoyed all three amazing flavors of cupcakes. The chai with honey buttercream was a fan favorite. I would definitely recommend Sandpiper for any event!

cake fell through the cracks. I contacted Sasha and she was on point and she came through. She was so sweet and worked with me to give the most beautiful wedding cake. She knew exactly what I wanted before I knew what wanted. I sent two photos of my wedding gown and described my venue and WOW! I can’t put into words how amazing my experience was. Then she made me gluten free cupcakes that were out of this world!

schedule. She responded quickly and worked with me on ideas. I also really like the ability to pay online.

we ended up ordering a custom cake from her a couple months later. She was very quick to respond, professional, and helped me sort through my ideas of what I was trying to envision and what my price range was. The final product was way better than I could have imagined! I definitely recommend her if you need something bridal, custom, or something for the holidays!

many great flavor options, it was so difficult to choose. We ended up with four different mini cupcake flavors and a two tiered cutting cake that looked identical to the inspiration photo I shared with her. Sasha was so personable and professional our entire experience, I would highly recommend her to anyone. We can’t wait to have more of her amazing desserts in the future!

oral cake topper, as well as local delivery to our wedding in York, Maine. We did all of our planning from a distance, and weren’t able to travel for a tasting, but the flavors were outstanding! We decided on a vanilla buttercream with vanilla cake and strawberry filling. The cake itself looked like it belonged in a magazine. Sasha took our picture from Pinterest and created it in real life! I’d definitely recommend the Sandpiper to anyone celebrating in the sea coast area!

! Booking the tasting was very easy. Sasha was great with her communication via email. One of the biggest reasons we were excited to try her cakes is because she can do gluten free! We were not disappointed! Dare I say, the chocolate gluten free cake tastes better than regular cake?! We tried several other flavors of cake and frostings and are very excited for our choices! I definitely recommend you work with her for your wedding or any event.

ing to drop off the cake, and extremely professional to communicate with. Delicious cakes, creative designs, and great service! Thank you Sasha.
