Chef Val and the entire team at The Sated Spoon were absolutely amazing for our wedding. Everything they made was delicious, and our guests literally could not stop talking about how good the food was all night. The quality was just incredible from start to finish. Chef Val and his staff really went above and beyond to make sure the service was seamless and everyone was taken care of. If you want catering that your guests will still be raving about days after the wedding, you definitely need to book them!
Chef Val is extremely talented and personable. His food is fresh and locally sourced. His attention to presentation and detail was superb. I assumed hors d’oeuvres would be self serve but his workers served them on platters walking around a cocktail hour and it was very classy. The shrimp and grits shooters were absolutely amazing, hard to stop eating them! The groom really wanted an ice cream bar and Chef put it together for us so thoughtfully as a special request. Chef Val and his staff were amazingly polite, professional, and dependable. I cannot recommend The Sated Spoon highly enough! Honestly he was also quite reasonably priced. I had nothing but the highest compliments from our guests regarding the quality of the food and the standard of service.
