ommodated all of our wishes for our wedding and even drove to South Carolina from his shop in Rincon.
His food speaks for itself. We had the taco bar for our rehearsal and all our friends wanted seconds. For our dinner we had his steak w chimichurri and redfish, mashed potatoes and green beans. Our guests raved about how good it was for days, weeks and even months later. My husband and I also thought it was delicious. Chef Val and his team were so kind and helpful during all of our wedding proceedings. I absolutely recommend his services.

ow good the food was all night. The quality was just incredible from start to finish. Chef Val and his staff really went above and beyond to make sure the service was seamless and everyone was taken care of. If you want catering that your guests will still be raving about days after the wedding, you definitely need to book them!

The groom really wanted an ice cream bar and Chef put it together for us so thoughtfully as a special request. Chef Val and his staff were amazingly polite, professional, and dependable. I cannot recommend The Sated Spoon highly enough! Honestly he was also quite reasonably priced. I had nothing but the highest compliments from our guests regarding the quality of the food and the standard of service.

During the wedding “debrief” the thing we wouldn’t change if we did it all again was the food. Hot, fresh, and delicious; we cannot recommend Chef Val enough for any event you may have in Savannah. (Sorry we didn’t have any photos, it would have just been clean plates)

But the main course truly blew us away: fresh filet mignon paired with wild-caught shrimp that had been landed less than 24 hours earlier. It was beyond delicious.
Ever since our wedding, we find ourselves comparing every meal we have to Chef Val’s food — and nothing has ever come close.
