One of the biggest highlights for me was the open vendor policy. It gave us the freedom to choose vendors that matched our style and budget, which made the planning process more personalized. That said, I highly recommend looking over the contract thoroughly so you’re clear on the guidelines and responsibilities that come with that flexibility.
The event manager was helpful and responsive whenever I had questions. While communication was not overly frequent, it was always timely and thorough when I needed it.
Overall, our wedding day went smoothly, and I’m so glad we chose The Schoolhouse of Dallas. I highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique and elegant venue with a bit of historic charm, perfect for couples who want a more custom wedding experience.

elementary school built 103 years ago and has that historic charm. The bridal suite is huge. My favorite room was the grooms suite just because of the setting and the colors. Great room to do pictures in. I was planning my own wedding and planned everything in 3 months. I did all the inside & outside decor with help from family members to set everything up. I will update with more pictures of the venue soon. We had our ceremony outside and the reception inside. Everything was beautiful! Thank you!

was. Thomas was extremely helpful during the wedding planning process. He had recommendations for everything and answered all of my questions. If I had one complaint it would be the landscaping. The yard was beautiful but the landscaping around the front of the building wasn’t great. It was March though to be fair. Over all we had a great experience and it was a beautiful place to celebrate our marriage.
