We had multiple meetings with them leading up to the wedding to make sure we booked and had everything ready for our big day, and to make sure they were ready. We can say that everything went off without a hitch! The coordinators were amazing and the food was quite literally some of the best food we’ve ever had, we still have guests talking about the food being the best they’ve had. If you want fantastic food at a wedding and an amazing background at a beach, this is the place to book. We highly recommend doing the brunch option for next day, the food is amazing again. This is a lovely resort that’s family owned and cared for year after year. Brittany and Jaimee will help you find your vendors and will make sure everything runs perfectly for your perfect day. We have no complaints, they did a wonderful job from start to finish. We look forward to visiting our wedding location year after year.

Their entire staff was so cool, charming, and attentive, creating the most welcoming atmosphere for us and our guests. Jaimee and Brittany thought of details we never would have considered and gave such thoughtful tips right before our ceremony for us and our bridal party that made it flow seamlessly. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, the atmosphere, and how beautiful everything was. The Sea Shell itself was pure magic, its rustic coastal vibe embodied us perfectly and created the dreamiest backdrop for the day. One of our favorite moments was when Jaimee shared an old wives’ tale to ward off the rain: take a shot of blackberry brandy. Let’s just say, if Jaimee tells you to take the shot... you take the shot! And sure enough, the skies cleared for us. Because of them, we truly felt like guests at our own wedding, carefree, present, and overflowing with joy. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, and that is the greatest gift we could have asked for. If you’re lucky enough to work with Jaimee and Brittany, you are in the best hands imaginable!!!! ee and Brittany. We planned our wedding from out of state and picked this venue sight unseen due to the communication, professionalism, and all the venue had to offer. Jaimee and Brittany made themselves so accessible, even outside of our scheduled planning meetings, and were so detail orientated. They also let us take our time on making decisions that were important to us. The food and beauty of the venue drew us to the Shell and did not disappoint. Everyone we have talk to has raved about the cocktail hour, dinner options, and how "destination wedding" it felt. We also were super happy with the room block and ability to get ready at the resort. Choosing the Seashell also allowed us to connect with vendors who were incredible, but also knew the Shell so well. This allowed us to be so stress free leading up to and the day of the wedding. Having a wedding at the Seashell Resort allowed us to trust in the set up and proceedings of the day and not worry about anything other than getting married and having fun. The week of our wedding was colder and rainy, and being drawn in to the beach ceremony, we were worried about how everything would play out. Brittany and Jaimee did a great job of helping us understand all different back up options, while ensuring their push to be outside. It stormed up to 2 hours before our ceremony start time, but as soon as the weather cleared, we knew they would do everything that could to allow us the beach ceremony we wanted. We also felt so confident going into the day because of how detailed the rehearsal was. Everything looked incredible, tasted incredible, and was so stress free. We had the most incredible day and we could not recommend the Seashell enough!!

Brittany and Jaimee the Event Coordinators are experts in their field, they do not just give you a wedding but make your once in a lifetime experience everything you imagine it to be. They are the perfect wedding venue and the kindest most genuine people I’ve had the privilege of working with. There isn’t a detail they missed or scenario they aren’t prepared for. The meetings leading up to the big day kept everyone informed and they covered everything. (Leading up to the wedding they even let us practice our first dance in the room because I was so nervous.) The food menu & cocktail hour beats out every weddings I’ve ever been to. The quality of food and uniqueness of options were something we were excited about and our guests raved about. We didn’t even do a trial, we trusted them to choose a lot of it. They even went as far as reaching out to each guest personally who had an allergy or dietary restriction and walked them through in great detail options they could turn to. They were with us through every step of the way and were there to support us. Nothing went wrong and it was because of them. Every little detail I had envisioned their team helped bring to life. From specific frames in certain areas to a plethora of candles, collages, treat stations & so much more. Everything I hoped for, came to life with their help. I cried walking in the room seeing it all. The room set up is a perfect space, big dance floor, big bar and just everything we hoped it would be. The king style tables set for a lovely intimate wedding with 180 of our closest friends and family. They also allowed our dogs to be a part of the day and let them stay at the hotel and join the party. The next day we had a brunch that blew everyone away with a continuous theme of delicious foods & great service. They helped pack everything up the next day and didn’t push or rush us out of there. From the front desk staff Andy, to all the bartenders, everyone was so wonderful and did so great. Everyone kept raving about how kind their whole family was working. From their mother offering to give one of our guests her own sweater to their father cutting the meat that everyone wanted more of. They are a family business who make every one of their clients feel like family too. Thank you everyone for making it the best day of our lives. You have customers every summer when we return to LBI and some of your biggest fans for life. Whenever I texted either of them, I would receive an immediate answer. Both were amazing to work with and helped us through the entire planning process. There were little to no limitations, and both sisters helped turn my wedding vision into a reality. The day of Brittany and Jaimee set everything up, and everything looked incredible. The staff that worked the fay of our wedding were attentive on my husband and I, making sure we ate. They were also attentive on all guests, and made sure there was never a dirty plate or glass sitting for long. The food was magnificent, all of our guests raved about our cocktail hour and entrees. I highly recommend the scallops wrapped in bacon, that was a crowd favorite! This venue exceeded our expectations, and was incredibly easy to work with. As an added bonus, The Seashell is dog friendly, and the coordinators and staff loved our puppy! The coordinators even texted me the day after our wedding checking on Sophia, and the post wedding blues. The Seashell being family owned, makes this venue truly special. act comes with two coordinators, Brittany and Jaimee, who are fantastic and super on top of everything. All the planning leading up to the day couldn’t have been easier with them. From the most amazing and private beach setting to THE FOOD, everything was perfection. I feel like everyone says that people can’t stop talking about the food after a wedding, but I truly have not had people stop raving about it to me and many telling me it’s the best food they’ve ever had (and I agree!). Having everything in one location made it the best experience for our guests and easy for us. They’ve also just remodeled all the guest rooms so they are super modern and fresh. Location also cannot be beat, in the heart of Beach Haven where everything is in walking distance. Best decision ever choosing The Sea Shell!!

ided to look at beach venues more local. I came across the Sea Shell Resort and Beach Club on The Knot and instantly fell in love. It offered that “destination” feel without the plane ride. Within a week,I had my tour, but I knew I was booking the second we pulled in the parking lot. The venue is family owned, and everyone was beyond welcoming. The owners two daughters were my wedding planners and they were amazing! The amount of questions I texted them with all hours of the week were always answered quickly and throughly. Their mom was there on my wedding day and helped me get my sandals on and helped adjust my dress. An absolute sweetheart. My wedding was Oct 8, 2023. My guests are still raving about the venue and the food! Many have said it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to. The menu was UNREAL. The seafood was fresh and plentiful. There was so much to pick from, and the way it was displayed was gorgeous! The open bar was top shelf- with delicious frozen beach drinks. Our oceanfront room was free the night of our wedding, and we came back to a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us as well as tons of leftovers from both cocktail hour and dinner. My planners, Jaimee and Brittany, handled everything. Welcoming my vendors, setting up decorations, packing up all the decor at the end of the night, and making sure all our gifts were safely stored. The venue itself was gorgeous- from the palm trees, to the private beach, the heated pool and fire pits, it was a tropical slice of paradise. The day was perfect - if I could do it all over again, I’d rebook the same venue. They made me feel like family and we will definitely be returning for our anniversaries. stination wedding; however, since my dad won't fly and my husband had family traveling from Ireland we decided we'd try and stay more local. When we went to check-out the Shell we instantly knew there was nowhere better and we booked instantly. It was the one and only place we looked at! The entire staff and overall vibe were exactly what we wanted and more. You truly feel like you're on a little island somewhere! The entire family makes you feel so welcomed and like your part of their family. Jaimee and Brittany absolutely KILLED everything. They were with us every step of the way leading up to the wedding to ensure everything was taken care of. There was a tropical storm the day of the wedding so of course that threw a bit of stress into the mix of the day but Jaimee and Brittany did everything they could to still make everything run seamless. Their mom was also an absolute angel and couldn’t have been more sweet to us! Everything was a dream despite of their being a storm. Between the venue and the food, our friends and family could not stop raving about how perfect everything was and so many people said that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding! Another amazing bonus was being able to include our dog, Scotch, in the wedding! Truly couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to have our wedding and I would do it a million times over. We will be making an anniversary trip to the Shell every year from now on! If you’re contemplating booking your wedding here, please do yourself a favor and do it!! So sad it's over but so happy to have these memories for life!
