My husband and I chose the Seabird as our wedding venue in January of 2024, and from the first tour we took to the event itself in December, we had a great experience working with them. Rebecca was a fantastic resource, having overseen a ton of events at the hotel, and my planner Rachel (Tres Chic Affairs) had a great rapport with her which made everything so seamless and easy. Rebecca and the team were super open and flexible when it came to little things like having unique signature cocktails, being flexible with the food (which we got tons of positive feedback about! get the carrot soup!) and helping find space within the hotel itself for our first look. Our friends and family who stayed at the hotel for the weekend had nothing but great things to say about the experience. Would highly recommend the Seabird as a wedding venue and just as a beautiful hotel in Oceanside!
We had the most amazing wedding experience at The Seabird for our 3/30/24 wedding! Our planner originally recommended we tour The Seabird, and I was hesitant because I didn't want a ballroom vibe for our reception, but when we toured The Seabird we knew we were in the right place! The ballroom is bright and modern. We loved all of the different location options in the hotel and we were able to have each part of our wedding in a different, adjacent location: ceremony on the patio, cocktail hour in the hall, reception in the ballroom, and our after party in the Seagaze room. Rebecca, their onsite event sales manager, was so great to work with! Her communication was fantastic and she was able to make all our dreams a reality! When it rained on our wedding day, Rebecca and our planner worked together to move our ceremony indoors to Seagaze and it was gorgeous. The food at the wedding was fantastic and everyone raved about the bartenders. The Seabird offered amazing drinks options at the bar and was able to fulfill all of our special requests, including providing local beers and specialty cocktails. We had a guest who was acting inappropriately and we had to ask them to leave, and The Seabird staff worked with us and our planner to make sure everything was taken care of and none of our other guests noticed what was going on. We loved that everything was all in one spot and we didn't have to hunt around for food vendors or bartenders. I got ready with the gals in the spa salon and the hair and makeup professionals they provided were truly top notch. Betsy did my bridal hair and makeup. She made me feel so comfortable, gave me lots of opportunities to provide feedback, and absolutely executed the perfect look day-of. The Seabird also made booking rooms for us and our guests very easy! I went to the spa with my sisters the day after the wedding and we had such a fantastic experience! The space is a dream with a gorgeous ocean view and a relaxing space to lounge and enjoy some sparkling wine before and after your treatment. It was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend!
