Laura, Drew, Kendra, Mary and the entire Epic Events team were there every step of the way coordinating and offering advice based on their past experiences. On the day of, the team kept the event running smoothly and did so many things behind the scenes that I know we weren’t even aware of. (And that’s how it should be!) The champagne cart was a great addition for guests to enjoy a drink before the ceremony. Epic Events thought of all the details and added extra decorations to the memory table and sweetheart table for us. Our photographers Kristina, Tammy, Jessica and videographer Brian were very professional and put everyone at ease. Brian even brought his drone for some overhead shots. The sneak peak was provided very quickly after the wedding with 50+ photos that all looked amazing. It’s worth noting that it’s only possible to take romantics photos at The Inn if you have someone you know staying at The Inn. Our phenomenal DJ recommended by the venue, DJ Chris Freeman, kept the dance floor going the entire night and was able to put together a great playlist after a conversation with us about our favorite songs and preferences. He also transitioned between songs very well. Jerri, our florist recommended by the venue, out did herself with the stunning white, green, and blue theme. The bridal bouquet was more beautiful than I could have imagined myself. Overall, I would very highly recommend Epic Events and The Secret Garden for weddings!!! The value provided by the team was well worth the price and peace of mind!

The pricing is so reasonable and the best value out of the 10+ venues we toured as well, and the all-inclusive package makes it super stress free. They have provide so many items to chose from so you (can but) don't have to go out looking for small one time use items like Reserved signs or table numbers. They were extremely communicative with every step of the wedding planning process and shared their vast knowledge for everything from how much ice you will need to recommended venders. We used their recommended vender, Eco Caters, and they were just as amazing! Our photographer Mike was so warm and fun to work with, the pictures turned out gorgeous and DJ Shy kept everyone dancing all night. Julia and Kim made sure the day ran smoothly and all we had to do was show up and have fun. If you don't know what you're doing or where to start and you have the opportunity to work with Epic Events, you are in the absolute best hands. We could not be more thankful to the entire team. I was an anxious bride and I always felt better after every conversation with them either by phone, email or in-person.

4. It truly was the most magical day of my life not just because I was marrying my soulmate, but because of the amazing coordination team that made our vision come to life. It was the first venue that my husband and I looked at, and we immediately fell in love with it. We loved that it was a beautiful indoor and outdoor garden venue, but we also loved how they offered an all-inclusive wedding package. They have a list of recommended vendors, including DJ, caterer, florist, photography/videography, and so much more. They give you the option to choose a vendor that they don't have on their recommended list, but we did everything through them and I wouldn't have had it any other way. They really offer the best-of-the-best professionals that know exactly what they're doing. A special shoutout to our coordinator, Laura, for being so organized and making sure everything was perfect on our big day! When it came to the day of the wedding, the entire timeline flowed seamlessly. None of the guests were left waiting around or wondering what was going on because the coordination team was so on top of everything! Everyone at our wedding, including myself and my husband, had an amazing time. Another thing to mention was that the communication with the Secret Garden and their team was beyond excellent! Any question I had, they answered promptly and made sure that the planning process was seamless. I had an enjoyable experience planning our wedding thanks to the support from the Secret Garden and Epic team! To conclude, my wedding day at the Secret Garden was literally the happiest day of our lives! It couldn't have been more perfect. If you're envisioning a fairytale garden wedding like I was, choose this venue!

Laura was absolutely amazing as our coordinator, I am not super organized and forgot a few details- but she had already fixed them by the time I realized I had forgotten anything. The ceremony space and reception space are beautiful. I almost didn’t even come here to do a tour because I assumed it would be too expensive being in Rancho Santa Fe, but the value surpassed anywhere else in San Diego. For everything we get it really was affordable in terms of wedding venues these days. So happy we got married here!

We loved that this venue included so many things in their pricing (Photos, photobooth, dj, tables, decor etc) & we even loved their recommended food & floral vendors. Having a venue that had so much included made the process that much easier, &less to keep track of! At the venue, you'll work with epic events & they were amazing as well! Planning a wedding can obviously be overwhelming, but throughout the whole process we worked with Laura who was an angel and our day of coordinator. We had a couple of in person meetings with her so we could discuss the set up, decorations, etc. She helped answer any&all questions we had. She walked us through everything that we needed to know/do. We also looked through different photos from past events so we could get some ideas for what we wanted. We loved her! She was fun & professional - during our rehearsal the day before, she was able to help our wedding party figure out what would happen the next day. We also dropped off extra decor etc that morning &went over the items with her. We found this part extremely helpful! The day of the wedding, I walked in and she gave me a huge hug. She was so excited for us &I just knew she was going to make sure everything would go smoothly. The venue itself is gorgeous!The outside ceremony area was able to easily fit our 160 guest wedding. I was unsure at first because it can be hard to visualize without those people there, but there was PLENTY of room for everyone. The garden setting makes for a beautiful background and there's a nearby golf course and library they utilize for photos. The thing that sold me on the venue was the hoop in the garden, even without flowers it is so beautiful. We had so many guests take photos with the hoop, ourselves included. The whole reception area feels so elegant with the draped curtains, wooden floors, fireplace, and stage. Our guests loved the stage area that we opted to turn into a lounge area using the furniture from the bridal suite. The bridal suite is cozy & has a private bathroom. It's recommended you get ready somewhere else and then you can do robe photos, etc in the bridal suite & getting ready photos. We loved having a dedicated area for all of our things during the wedding & I loved having a bathroom to myself! The "grooms suite" doubles as a suite then later on a hallway/lounge area to the bathrooms. Don't be swayed by this - they really utilize the space well and we all know the groomsmen don't do much before the wedding anyway LOL. We also liked that the photobooth pictures were digital - it sent the pictures to your phone/email. We got a copy of all the photobooth pictures so if they didn't go through to some people we were able to send it to them! We did bring our own photobooth props because we wanted more than what they had at the venue. We cannot say enough great things about this venue. If I were to do my wedding all over, I'd still do it here. We have gotten so much feedback from our guests about how much fun they had&how every vendor they interacted with was SO nice & how everything seemed to run so smoothly. We simply could not have done it without this perfect venue. It really did feel like they were rooting for us & wanted us to have the most magical day, which we did.

When they accidentally missed our email and took a week to reply they profusely apologized and generously gifted us a wedding day service. From the moment we met Julie we knew she would never let us down and would do everything to make our wedding day vision come true. She introduced us to Jerri Disney, our florist. Jerri embraced us fully and we were so lucky that she shared her special talent with us to bring beautiful, natural decoration and color to our wedding day. She has a unique talent for listening to nondescript explanations and pull-out key, common words to make your imagination come to life in your floral arrangements. She was always so honest and flexible to make what we wanted work for the budget we put forward at the beginning. We were then so, so lucky to be paired with our wedding planner, Laura. Laura was our wedding everything fairy godmother—she made all our dreams come true and worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly throughout the whole planning process, day, night, and time after. No request was ever too much, and she always had an answer to how we could make it all happen and a suggestion to how we could make it work with ease.
