They were all super sweet, but none of them listened to what I wanted and also just knew the designers well enough to tell me what would look best for my body type (I'm a busty girl with a very short torso). Her knowledge of the designers made ALL the difference, which makes sense because they only work with a handful of designers so they truly know their products. There were a lot of options, but it was so much less overwhelming than some other shops that just have racks and racks of dresses to rummage through where everything is so shoved together you struggle just to see what the dress looks like. The environment is comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Everything from the greeting to the checkout process was absolutely perfect. I tried on a few dresses I really liked, but ended up matching a top and bottom I loved to make my own style. Getting to custom pick my own dress that will be handmade and not mass produced for a quarter of the price some of the previous dresses I looked at is just absolutely mind blowing to me. Cailan started by asking me a price range I wanted to stay in and stayed true to only showing me dresses within that range. I started looking at one designer that was on the higher end and she immediately stopped and redirected me but said we could come back if we didn't find anything else. Seriously, this woman is a such a dream (as I'm sure all the stylists here are, but obviously I'm a bit biased). Thank you to this entire staff I met (especially Cailan) for making my dreams come true for my perfect wedding dress! I've already told my other engaged friends to make appointments!

After ordering my dream dress, there was a snafu-- the designer discontinued without alerting the salons to pull it from the floor, so they could not make my dress. I thought this would be a nightmare, but The Sentimentalist turned it into a happy accident. I went back to the salon and not only purchased the sample of my selected dress, but also purchased an additional dress and sweater/shrug to go with it. Trying on dresses at The Sentimentalist was one of the most relaxing dress shopping experiences I had at any store - they give you plenty of privacy! They were also AMAZING when troubleshooting an issue where the dressmaker's materials had left marks on my dress. They were able to resolve the issue and even dropped my dress off at my chosen alterations shop so that I wouldn't have to make another trip to Atlanta. The guests at my wedding couldn't stop talking about my beautiful Elizabeth Dye dress :) Working with this team was so fun that I wish I could do it all over again!!

Leading up to the day, I felt a ton of pressure/anxiety and questioned whether or not I would have "the feeling" when I found my dress. I IMMEDIATELY had the feeling when I walked into the store and saw it on the hanger. I'm a very analytical person and usually question things for a while so that's not a normal experience for me! It fit me perfectly, my mom and sister loved it as much as I did and I even got to meet the designer to customize it...things that I never thought would be possible within my budget. Great vibes + cool people + dresses that make you feel like an absolute (beautiful) BOSS. Hands down the most magical wedding dress shop in ATL/surrounding areas.
