My wedding dress shopping experience was top tier. I had an amazing time trying on various dresses as The Sentimentalist Team is full of humans who love weddings and helping brides find their dream dress. There were many beautiful dresses and accessories that you cannot find at just any bridal shop. I LOVED my dress and it was perfect for my October 2023 wedding at Lanier Islands. 10/10, definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough about my experience at The Sentimentalist! It was amazing. From dress shopping to pick up to finding accessories, everyone I worked with was so great, professional, kind and easy to communicate with, especially Hannah O. and Hannah G. Dress shopping can be a lot, but I was in good, calm hands the whole time and was led to my perfect dress in the smoothest way. I also found my veil and earrings at The Sentimentalist which were the perfect final touches for my wedding day look. I will be recommending The Sentimentalist over and over again. 🤗

I was no nervous and anxious going into wedding dress shopping. However, after walking into The Sentimentalist and meeting Hannah G. those feelings immediately disappeared! I very quickly felt comfortable and excited to shop! Hannah G. spent time talking through my venue vibes and what I initially thought I'd like. She was super helpful in helping guide me around the store and picking out styles and dresses to try on. Throughout the process she was so helpful in giving advice about the shopping process and made me feel so comfortable. I found a dress I really liked that was missing one thing I knew I really wanted in a dress - sleeves. She was amazing and helped come up with an awesome solution and I ended up saying yes to the dress!! Not to mention the vibes at the shop are 10/10! Shoutout to Lauren as well who was so helpful and kind! I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who is wedding dress shopping!

I absolutely loved my experience at The Sentimentalist! The store is beautiful and my stylist Hannah helped me find my dream dress! Since I was having trouble finding a dress at other stores, I went in with an open mind and asked Hannah to pick some she thought would fit my style and aesthetic. She made me feel comfortable and confident, like every bride should! I highly recommend going to this boutique. They also have amazing vintage dresses and a ton of gorgeous accessories.

The absolute best. From the feeling of the space when you walk in, the interactions you have with the stylists/employees, to the selection of dresses and accessories. I felt unsure what I was doing and Hannah took me through the whole process so professionally and fun! I found my dress and accessories by the end of my appointment. Having a space where you trust the folks running it makes, what could be a stressful process, so much fun and reassuring. Thank you for sharing your space!

I cannot say enough good things about The Sentimentalist. I had a feeling that this was the only dress shopping appointment I needed to make, and thanks to the incredible selection of gowns, wonderful staff, and white-glove experience in the shop, I was right! Hannah was a true joy to get to work with. She understood my style and what I was looking for even better than I did, and she had the most peaceful, lighthearted presence. I will ALWAYS tell my friends that they have to go dress shopping at The Sentimentalist!

Cailan was amazing and really helped make my experience as smooth & enjoyable as possible! Together we found the perfect dress & overskirt combination to wear on my big day :) The entire store & experience is so aesthetically pleasing - highly recommend it to any bride!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place! First of all, I went to 3 other bridal appointments and I have to say that no other stylist even came close to as amazing as Cailan. They were all super sweet, but none of them listened to what I wanted and also just knew the designers well enough to tell me what would look best for my body type (I'm a busty girl with a very short torso). Her knowledge of the designers made ALL the difference, which makes sense because they only work with a handful of designers so they truly know their products. There were a lot of options, but it was so much less overwhelming than some other shops that just have racks and racks of dresses to rummage through where everything is so shoved together you struggle just to see what the dress looks like. The environment is comfortable, clean, and relaxing. Everything from the greeting to the checkout process was absolutely perfect. I tried on a few dresses I really liked, but ended up matching a top and bottom I loved to make my own style. Getting to custom pick my own dress that will be handmade and not mass produced for a quarter of the price some of the previous dresses I looked at is just absolutely mind blowing to me. Cailan started by asking me a price range I wanted to stay in and stayed true to only showing me dresses within that range. I started looking at one designer that was on the higher end and she immediately stopped and redirected me but said we could come back if we didn't find anything else. Seriously, this woman is a such a dream (as I'm sure all the stylists here are, but obviously I'm a bit biased). Thank you to this entire staff I met (especially Cailan) for making my dreams come true for my perfect wedding dress! I've already told my other engaged friends to make appointments!

I am so glad I went in to The Sentimentalist! I had the best experience and ended up finding my wedding dress here - I highly highly recommend them if you're looking in Atlanta! The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming and I felt zero pressure throughout the appointment.

I had a wonderful experience at The Sentimentalist! They had an amazing selection of unique but timeless dresses, their staff was incredibly helpful, and the store has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I ended up buying Anais Anette's Ella gown and I adored wearing it. This was my favorite shop out of the many I tried in Atlanta and beyond!

The Sentimentalist was the perfect place to find my wedding dress! I felt empowered and listened to throughout the dress selection process, and I felt even more beautiful on my big day. After I picked up my dress, they went above and beyond in answering questions about undergarments, makeup recommendations, and more. I can't imagine buying my dress from anyplace else!

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience at the Sentimentalist in finding the most dreamy dress for my wedding back in January. Both Gigi and Hannah were angels for all their support and help to find the most amazing gown. I had the best time with the whole team there. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and my friends and family that came with me to the shop are always talking about how much they loved our visits. The sentimentalist is such a special spot!

This was the best experience I could ever imagine! I'm a slightly older bride and have never tried on dresses before. I was so nervous about what to expect, and Hannah, the sales manager, was absolutely wonderful and delightful to work with. She made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. She was quickly able to assess my style and provide a variety of options in my price range. I loved all of them and selected my dress during my first visit. I also met with the owner Krista. She was fantastic. The shop is beautiful, and the dresses are all gorgeous! The whole experience made me feel so special!

I wanted to try on wedding dresses from a specific designer, which is how I initially found The Sentimentalist. I am so glad I did! Hannah and her team were so helpful - including when I had to do a virtual measurement session before placing my final order, after I had emergency knee surgery! My dress arrived on time (actually a few days early)! Cannot recommend them enough!

Run don't walk to The Sentimentalist! No bridal salon made me feel they way they did. Hannah was our consultant. With just one trip around the racks and a few easy questions, she picked up on my style immediately (way better than even I know my style). The dress selection has a wide range (classic dresses, modern, bohemian, etc etc), but yet all so beautiful. More importantly-- everyone there was so kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is carefully curated and I really appreciate that. My guests and I had such a great time at the salon. After ordering my dream dress, there was a snafu-- the designer discontinued without alerting the salons to pull it from the floor, so they could not make my dress. I thought this would be a nightmare, but The Sentimentalist turned it into a happy accident. I went back to the salon and not only purchased the sample of my selected dress, but also purchased an additional dress and sweater/shrug to go with it. Overall, my dresses were beyond what I even imagined and I would recommend this salon to anyone. Thank you so much Hannah & Sentimentalist team!

I can't recommend The Sentimentalist enough!! My mom and I went to appointments all over Atlanta before finding this place, and as soon as we walked in I knew this would be where I bought my dress! They have such a unique selection to choose from, and all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Trying on dresses at The Sentimentalist was one of the most relaxing dress shopping experiences I had at any store - they give you plenty of privacy! They were also AMAZING when troubleshooting an issue where the dressmaker's materials had left marks on my dress. They were able to resolve the issue and even dropped my dress off at my chosen alterations shop so that I wouldn't have to make another trip to Atlanta. The guests at my wedding couldn't stop talking about my beautiful Elizabeth Dye dress :) Working with this team was so fun that I wish I could do it all over again!!

A friend recommended the Sentimentalist and I am SO happy she did. I had the best experience trying on wedding dresses and cannot recommend it highly enough! I’d been to several spots previously and wished I had started here as I wouldn’t have looked any further. Hannah made me feel so at home and instantly understood exactly what I was looking for. She was quick, thoughtful, shared great additions and adjustments for each dress and overall was just a rockstar to work with. She selected a dress I wouldn’t have looked at that ended up being my favorite. The selection is incredible too and the shop itself is so fun!

I tried on 50 (no kidding) wedding dresses at various national brand and small owner bridal shops. Nothing made sense until I went to the Sentimentalist. Phae listened and worked with me to find the perfect, unique, and comfortable dress. I never felt pressured to buy something or make a rash decision. In fact, I came back a month later because I still couldn't get the dress out of my mind and there was nothing else like it out there. Thank you so much to the incredible staff for creating a safe, comfortable, and joyful space.

I had a truly lovely experience. I felt welcomed and taken care of. Found my dream dress and it was from the sample sale. Spent less than $600. It fit like a glove, no need to tailor it.

The entire vibe of this store is unique and fun and makes you feel authentically seen and not like just another bride. Their dresses and dress knowledge are unlike any other store I visited and I went to over 5. For such a special moment and purchase, I would recommend no other place than the Sentimentalist. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch. My associate was Hannah G. and she was so attentive and listened to exactly what I described. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and throughout the process I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. Hannah G. was so patient and helpful. Upon purchase the entire team remained as helpful and patient as my first visit. The Sentimentalist Team truly stands out as one of the highlights in my wedding planning process.

This place was beautiful, clean and very friendly. I had GiGi as my stylist and she was fantastic! She listened to what I wanted (even though I didn't really know). She picked a dress I would not have picked and I LOVED it! We also had help from another woman during the purchase appointment, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she had the most gorgeous freckles. It was a wonderful experience speaking with everyone there and I would highly recommend every woman to at least drop by and take a peek at all the gorgeous gowns. 10/10 will be shopping here when I need to renew my vows ;)

The Sentimentalist was THE BEST place I could've found to find my perfect wedding dress! AH! Hannah G, who I feel is now my friend, was SO incredibly helpful. As a plus size bride, I have always been anxious about the thought of finding my perfect dress. Because of the Sentimentalist, I felt at ease and even excited to try on dresses. I'd recommend this shop to ANY bride in the Atlanta area. Heck, I'd FLY here from anywhere, just to have the experience of shopping here. They made me feel so beautiful and I can't wait to wear my dress!

The Sentimentalist, and specifically my stylist Hannah, made dress shopping fun, stress-free and one of the more memorable wedding planning experiences. My mom, mother in law and sister all came with me and The Sentimentalist made us feel so special and heard. The process for actually getting my dress was super easy and they recommended a great alterations place. Can't recommend them enough!

I had such a lovely experience with The Sentimentalist from my initial appointment through my wedding! I came in, only knowing vaguely what I wanted and how I wanted to feel and they nailed it! Their collection is stunning and unique - it was different than the other bridal stores I had been too. Their staff made me feel so welcome and as we went through the appointment did such an incredible job of narrowing down the dress! I did not feel pressured to purchase, but after leaving empty handed, I went to lunch, canceled appointments at my other stores because I knew I had found the dress!! I just got married this May and truly felt like I had the perfect dress for me ! It was so fun showing my husband and family and friends and I treasure being able to get married in it! Would have never even known to look for it had it not been for the wonderful staff at the Sentimentalist directing me to it!!!!

Phae and The Sentimentalist team were a pleasure to work with! Not only did I find a unique and beautiful wedding outfit - Phae was so easy energetic, and warm heart and made me feel comfortable and special during my fittings. The Sentimentalist is an absolute dream. It's got a mix of everything you need—from traditional to super fun/unique ones. Everything from the shop itself, the beautiful selection of dresses, the sweet stylists...it's a really special little place. Leading up to the day, I felt a ton of pressure/anxiety and questioned whether or not I would have "the feeling" when I found my dress. I IMMEDIATELY had the feeling when I walked into the store and saw it on the hanger. I'm a very analytical person and usually question things for a while so that's not a normal experience for me! It fit me perfectly, my mom and sister loved it as much as I did and I even got to meet the designer to customize it...things that I never thought would be possible within my budget. Great vibes + cool people + dresses that make you feel like an absolute (beautiful) BOSS. Hands down the most magical wedding dress shop in ATL/surrounding areas.

As a plus size bride, I was nervous about finding something special. Let me tell you, they have gorgeous, out of the ordinary dresses for ALL sizes. My stylist was amazing and made sure we had the best experience. It was fun and happy and I found a gorgeous fun classy twirly dress that is so me. I could not be happier with them. I bought the dress and canceled my appointments with all other shops. I’d give them ten stars if I could.

I had the best time at the Sentamentalist! Cailan was the best stylist and was SO knowledgeable about all of the dresses I tried on. I was feeling really nervous ahead of my appointment and was immediately at ease and felt heard when Cailan sat down with me. I went to 2 other bridal shops but when I walked into The Sentimentalist, I knew right away that they'd have my dream dress. The experience I had at the shop was personalized and so fun. The dresses available were different than what I'd seen so far and the entire experience feel so special. The ordering process was so simple and when I got my dress, it was everything I remembered. I went to five bridal shops and The Sentamentalist was BY FAR my favorite. Cailan was the one that helped me for my visit and she didn’t make me feel pressed for time, listened well to what I wanted, explained all the options for each dress and really allowed me to have fun in a stress-free environment. The stores I went to afterwards felt very unprofessional after such a pleasant visit at The Sentamentalist. The gowns are all so unique and beautiful. I will be recommending The Sentamentalist to every bride I know!!!

I visited 5 different bridal salons and the Sentimentalist was by-and-far the best! I'd been very anxious about dress shopping alone and had some iffy experiences elsewhere but the consultants I worked with here really blew me away. The vibe is relaxed and inclusive, and they had the most amazing selection of gowns. I was looking for something very specific and not only did they have many options that fit, they were also able to work with their designers to customize dresses to fit your needs. Also, don't skip the vintage rack! I wish I'd known about this place when I started my search -- so glad I ended up finding my dress here!

I cannot recommend The Sentimentalist enough. I wasn't looking forward to the dress shopping process, but they made it so fun! I felt at ease with their staff, who were all very knowledgeable, kind, and on your side. They communicate extremely well, keeping you updated or answering questions quickly via email. Not an ounce of pushy-ness, they just want to get you in the right dress for you. They make an effort to keep you on track for your budget when picking out options to try on, which is a pretty noble thing in the business of sales. Beyond that, their selection is awesome- and. you can even catch trunk sales of the designers you like. I feel incredibly grateful for all the ladies there, especially PhaeMonae :)

I chose to shop at the Sentimentalist because they seemed different than your traditional bridal store. My experience exceeded all expectations. The dress selections are classic but different enough that you can find a dress for your personality fit. The store vibe and decor was SO much fun. My stylist was AMAZING and we had so much fun. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had shopping.

I wasn’t sure what I specifically wanted, but Cailan listened to how I wanted to feel and which styles I was especially drawn to. I loved my experience at the Sentamentalist. They have all kinds of dresses--colorful, vintage, bohemian, two-pieces-- excellent vibes and music selection, and knowledgeable, efficient, and kind sales clerks. They were covid-conscience, but still kept the joy of wedding dress shopping. They let you bring in champagne for your guests and let you remove your mask to see how you looked in the wedding dresses. I found "the one" here and returned for an accessories appointment where I found a veil, tiara, and earrings. If you are looking for a non-traditional salon with one-of-a-kind designer gowns, this is the boutique for you.

The sentimentalist is such a great experience! They offer a great atmosphere and a wide range of styles and price ranges to choose from. The staff is wonderful too! I worked with Ronnie and she quickly picked up on my style and was able to suggest dresses that I loved within my price range. She was also great at pointing out what I could / couldn’t customize. I can’t wait to see my custom dress!

I had the best time finding my dress at the Sentimentalist- everyone who works there is so helpful and loves their job, which makes you feel so special! They have an amazing selection and I was never stressed or worried about getting the dress from them, they made everything so easy and were on top of everything. They also have a great collection of accessories and veils.

I can't thank the universe enough for The Sentimentalist. I had my first wedding dress appointment at A DIFFERENT BRIDAL SHOP and without getting into detail it was terrible. When I got a phone call from the Sentimentalist saying that a spot had opened that afternoon, I was relieved - and hopeful that things would turn around, and boy did they. Hannah was a saint. She was so knowledgeable about the entire collection, the different types of fabrics, fits and what I might be interested in. She made me feel so comfortable trying on things outside of my comfort zone and walked me through whatever I needed to find the perfect dress. I'm pretty sure she knew which one I would end up with from the moment we started talking, but she allowed me to try on as many as I needed to get to that conclusion myself. I swear, she's a wedding dress wizard. Once I was back in THE dress, Hannah gave me a full up-do so that I could try on my vail and get a real picture. She was comforting, and genuine and truly made me feel so beautiful. She is amazing. Also, the Sentimentalist is so beautiful. The moment you walk in there is this vintage, zen and stunning vibe that hits you in the face. It's incredible and everyone that works there is amazing. If you're the type of bride that doesn't think she can see herself in the standard stark-white poofy dress, the Sentimentalist will have what you're looking for and more. So elegant, different, unique and beautiful! Literally so grateful we found it!

This boutique was absolutely wonderful. I had such a wonderful experience and my bridal consultant, Hannah, was awesome. She picked out dresses that were very much my style and flattered my body. The boutique itself is very beautiful, kind of a funky vintage vibe; looks great in pictures.

The Sentamentalist will be your last stop while dress shopping, so I recommend you start here and save yourself time. I came to ATL to purchase my dress for my big day. After many bridal shops I knew I wanted a dress that I could dance in but that would still have a beautiful train for the ceremony. It seemed like I wouldn't be able to achieve both of these goals and assumed I would end up with a ball gown. Rhiannon listened to my wish list when it came to my dream wedding dress and she was able to pull several dresses that met this list. She was able to help me filter through gowns and really hone in on the most important things. But when she pulled out the skirt overlay that I could put on top of my fit-and-flare dress I realized I didn't have to compromise. Thank you for turning a component of wedding planning that I absolutely dreaded into an amazing experience and for helping me find the perfect wedding dress!

My experience with the Sentimentalist was great from start to finish - I tried on dresses with my mom and sibling during COVID, and it was really helpful to know upfront what expectations and precautions were in place for safety. I worked with Rachael and she helped me figure out what I liked or didn't like about the styles I tried on and ultimately find a beautiful, perfect dress. Everyone was extremely helpful and never pushy. Highly recommend!

This place is exactly as dreamy as the photos make it look. Natural light, gorgeous decor, and the most beautiful gowns you’ve ever seen. I had a two month engagement and needed a sample dress and I found my dream dress in ONE appointment. They even recommended an alterations (White Orchid) which made my dress seem like it was made for me. Wouldn’t have considered going anywhere else for a gown.

10/10 recommend The sentimentalist. They are not only helpful but incredibly thoughtful. The made finding my dress and my accessories easy and effortless. If you're looking for a personalized experience for the untraditional bride these ladies are GOLDEN.

Hannah was so helpful in finding the perfect dress! She made me confident in my preferences and supported all of my decisions. I wish she could come shopping with me all the time! There was tons of styles to choose to try on and so many options to customize. The shop had a lot of safety precautions in place to help us feel safe and clean during the appointment despite COVID. The Sentimentalist was a dream come true. They were so open in communication and honoring my budgetary boundaries (which I totally ignored to get the perfect dress, but the point is that they were super respectful of the budget I TOLD them). It wasn’t anything I thought I wanted, but she knew. I’m so excited to pick my gown up!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hannah - she is patient, kind, personable, knowledgeable, and will go above and beyond to help you find your dream dress. I never felt rushed or pressured, and communication about the whole process was very clear. After I found my dress, I just wanted to hang out in the store because it is genuinely such a welcoming and lovely atmosphere. I'm already excited to go back to pick up my dress!!

I knew before stepping foot into The Sentimentalist that I was going to find my wedding dress there. I wanted something gorgeous but a little different than your average gown and there's nowhere more perfect than here! Everyone I worked with totally understood my vibe and I ended up with the perfect dress for my upcoming NYE wedding. I can't wait to go back for an accessory appointment in the summer. I could not imagine having purchased my wedding dress from anywhere but The Sentimentalist. I was shopping and planning through the pandemic and they were always on top of safety protocols. I felt so welcomed and safe, plus I was elated with how helpful Hannah was, including assisting in FaceTiming guests while I was trying on dresses. They were very responsive to emails and questions through the entire process, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring as I am not local to Atlanta. I had the dress and fit of my dreams.

LOVED my experience at the sentimentalist. Phae knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled so many amazing dresses, never tried to pressure me if I didn’t like something, and has been able to help through a customization process. She helped me pivot when the dress I came in thinking I wanted turned out not to be the one. The shop is so cute, and I found my dream dress. They made my mom and grandma feel so welcome as well, even with COVID, and served the champagne we brought for us. Honestly my only regret is that I’m marrying the love of my life so I won’t be able to buy anymore wedding dresses here!

I had such an incredible experience here! I came specifically to look at the Dear Heart gowns. The staff was so kind. The space itself is so fun and has a cool vibe. They have such unique dresses, veils, and accessories to choose from - you can truly make your wedding day look just like you imagined. I ended up getting my dress here and the process of buying, picking up the dress was so easy. Would highly recommend!

The BEST experience and the best array of dresses. I searched high and low between Birmingham and Atlanta and loved every bit of my experience at The Sentamentalist. Hannah brought my vision to life and understood what I was looking for better than every other salon I went to. The designers they choose are absolutely top notch. My dress is a dream! Everything was handled so safely and my family was well taken care of! Incredible atmosphere. The perfect place to find a classy or unique dress, or in my case, a little bit of both. And after the end of a day of searching, I swung back by and tried on the dress again. The BEST overall experience!!!!!!! Absolutely go!

We were charmed by the staff and this beautiful shop. I wish I could spend an entire day trying on every single dress...wishful thinking aside, I found the perfect dress and veil for my big day and couldn't be more pleased!
