I wound up purchasing a dress online due to COVID. The dress came in time but was 2 1/2 sizes too big and the bottom half needed to be altered because it just didn’t look right wit...
h my cowgirl boots. I was astonished how how beautiful Ruby reshaped the bottom and tailored to a perfect fit! I’m so excited about my wedding day! Thank you sewing room! You create magic and beauty!
Beautiful job on my Allure Bridal wedding dress! Had some parts let out and some taken in. It now fits perfectly! Thank you for the little touches and working with me to get it ...
just right!!!
Ruby and her staff at the Sewing Room are simply the very best. My daughter's wedding dress had intricate appliqué and long train. Not only did Ruby beautifully shorted and bustle...
the hem but she transformed the sleeves by lining them, adding appliqué and making the ¾ length. It truly was stunning.
I thought my dress only needed larger arm holes, the sash sewn to the dress, and some bustling. But the seamstress (I'm sorry, I don't remember her name) suggested some darting to ...
help make the bust/arm holes sit better as well. She even had me try it on again after opening the seam, but before cutting, to ensure that it would fit correctly. urrently live, but as Fort Collins is where my dress was I figured it was worth it. My bustle was ripped out within 5 minutes of the reception. In hindsight, I really wish I'd asked for more than one bustle to ensure that in case one did get ripped out, the bustle wouldn't be completely ruined. I had a long train on my dress and it was a pain in the butt to have to walk around/carry the dress during the reception. They did get the dress done fairly quickly, which was great.
