Working with Shade Shifters was a great experience. Their sun shades are a great addition for an outdoor Tahoe wedding where you never know if it is going to rain or fry you in the sun. Not only do they add piece of mind for the unpredictable mountain weather, they also add a great ambiance and vibe for a wedding.
Dana and Nick went above and beyond before our event, during set up and were easy and fun to deal with. We emphatically recommend using Shade Shifters for your tenting needs!!!!
Shade Shifters came in clutch for my wedding! When the week of the wedding came, all of the sudden the weather took a turn for the worse and we were rushing to find a tent for our venue. Shade Shifters was amazingly kind and helpful and made the arrangements for us quickly! They were super communicative and fast to respond. And they put up the most beautiful tent that had a great boho vibe!

I moved to Tahoe almost 20 years ago and never looked back. I found a home that spoke to my love for the environment and outdoors. I have always loved going to and planning events and saw a lack of inventive shade at these otherwise beautiful events which lead me to start Shade Shifters. I balance this with my work for a conservation district that is involved with projects that help keep Tahoe the natural wonder that brought me here, to begin with. When not working, I keep busy skiing, mountain biking, and visiting my farm in Nicaragua.
