As a couple with a need for a gluten free cake, we could not have been more thrilled by the experience and overall quality of our wedding cake from The Shared Piece of Cake! Emma and Arianna addressed all of our allergy concerns and provided us with a cake tasting experience that helped us select our dream cake. Several of our guests complimented our cake and were very surprised to find out that it was gluten free! It tasted so good, and we cannot wait for our next cake from them!

It was such a delight to work with The Shared Piece of Cake! Emma was very responsive to my initial inquiry and provided me with several pricing options. Once we locked in the right cake option and numbers for my wedding, Emma handled all the details - it was the only portion of wedding planning which went perfectly! Emma and Arianna did all the desserts for my bridal shower and wedding, and they were absolutely incredible. For our wedding cake, they put together such a thoughtful and cute tasting box. The cake was exactly what we wanted and matched our inspo photos perfectly. Every guest at my bridal shower and wedding wanted to know where the desserts were from! They also set everything up for both events and made everything look so beautiful. DON'T WAIT - just book them!

These ladies were so enjoyable to work with!!! They provided just what we wanted for our wedding, including small desserts and our own small cake. They offer dairy free options and gluten free options. Emma is amazing and super sweet!!

10/10 would HIGHLY recommend! I am celiac so I have to eat gluten free and some of my guests also had other allergies. Through it all they were highly responsive and helpful. The tasting box was so cute and so fun and the cake was DELICIOUS! Having the right vendors is such a big deal on your wedding day, and The Shared Piece of Cake was definitely the right vendor!

We were SO glad to find the Shared Piece of Cake. My husband has a severe dairy allergy and finding desserts that he could enjoy without worry was super important. We did several dozen mini cupcakes and they were SO cute and great. Emma and her sister are easy to work with, kind, and delivered the cupcakes the day of the wedding which was a HUGE help.

The Shared Piece of Cake is nothing short of amazing. The cake was delicious, coordination and day-of delivery was stress-free, and if I could give them two dozen stars, I WOULD. They were able to work with me on curating the perfect allergy friendly cake (my wife has a gluten allergy) that turned out truly fantastic. I also had so many of my guests tell me the cake tasted amazing. When I told them it was gluten-free, they couldn't believe it!

The Shared Piece of Cake were professional and responsive, and the cake was delicious! I asked for them to freeze the cake ahead of time, since I was transporting it to our venue in Santa Barbara. It worked like a charm and the cake arrived intact. I ordered a lemon cake with strawberry and cream cheese frosting. I asked them to make it vegan (in addition to being gluten-free), and they nailed it. The texture was perfect. We had about 100 people at the wedding, but this cake was for the 15 or so people with dietary restrictions. We cut it as the presentation cake, and everyone else got sheet cake. Those who tried both told me that this cake beat the sheet cake hands down!

Highly recommend for any food allergy! Our officiant recommended The Shared Piece of Cake to us specifically for my gluten-free dairy-free needs. I was struggling to find a small budget friendly gf df cake for our elopement that wasn't just vanilla flavor. Emma helped brainstorm with me and they made us the MOST delicious cake - almond cake with orange marmalade filling and honey buttercream. As a gluten-free wedding photographer, I never ever get to enjoy reception cake. I had happy tears and was able to safely enjoy an amazing cake with my loved ones.
