tl;dr: Kind, collaborative, talented group of musicians with a wide range & a proclivity for absolutely killing it. What do good weddings have? Good food, maybe an open bar, and GREAT music! The Shenanigans left nothing on the table - their performance for me and my husband's wedding was phenomenal! Our guests couldn't leave the dance floor - they kept the party hyped & happy! They learned our song and absolutely killed it - they are one talented group of musicians and you will love having them perform at your wedding! Cannot recommend enough <3

These guys are absolutely phenomenal! Can highly recommend for a wedding band. I got married this last weekend. The one thing my wife wanted for our wedding was "good dancing so that means we need to have good music." My wife did her homework, and found these guys. They are not some cheesy wedding cover band. They are professionals in their field that deliver on what they promise and were a sheer pleasure to work with. Musically, they were expert level. They had a sound guy with a sound board in the back and had their own lights that created the perfect environment. Our dance floor was never less than 90% full all night. They played the songs we requested perfectly. Everything about these guys was absolutely fantastic. My wife was so happy with them that at the end of the night she went around to all of the band members and hugged each of them to say thanks. Would not hesitate to use these guys again, they are amazing.

These guys (and girl) were a dream to work with. They learned or knew the songs we want for our "special dances" (first dance, mother/son, father/daughter), so they could sing them live. They lent me a mic to use for my ceremony, they traveled 1.5 hours from Springfield, and they play very well. I got SO MANY compliments! Ian is there coordinator and responded quickly to any questions I had. They played (pre recorded) background music during cocktail our too!

The Shenanigans are absolutely amazing and SO much fun! The dance floor was completely packed the entire time at my reception and that is because the Shenanigans put on a performance like no other! I highly recommend them for any event, especially a wedding reception. They were a blast! Thanks so much for making the night even better than it already was!

They are amazing!!! They are so talented and entertaining!! Everyone (including us) had an amazing evening with a lot of fun dancing and singing!! I've seen them at weddings and out on the town.. They always put on a top notch performance! Ian also coordinates everything and plays a great MC for the evening! I would recommend this group all day, every day!

We were beyond excited for our guests to dance to The Shenanigans at our reception in October 2015. When choosing a band/DJ you have to keep in mind that they are the ones running your reception from announcements to introductions and keeping the party going. Ian and the band were so professional and made the timeline flow perfectly. We are still hearing from our friends (and our parents' friends) about how our band was the best wedding band they had ever heard. They played the perfect mix of current and past songs for all ages and the dance floor was packed the entire night. We highly recommend The Shenanigans!

We hired the Shenanigans for our wedding day last July. Because my family and I had seen them perform before and new we wanted them for the reception, we booked them several months in advance. Throughout the planning process, The Shenanigans were professional and responsive in all correspondence. They also learned 'Moon River' for my dance with my dad. On the big day,The Shenanigans did a fantastic job emceeing and playing music that kept a crowd for the entire reception. I've never been to a better party. After the wedding, all my relatives and friends commented on how amazing the band was - and I agreed. Our best day was made even better by The Shenanigans - I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a spectacular wedding reception fulling of dancing and fun and celebration!

Just wanted you guys to know that we could not have been more pleased with your performance at Nikki's wedding Saturday. You guys are the best. Everyone has been commenting to us about how great the band was and the music during the ceremony was beautiful. There is no one better than you guys. I also wanted to mention on the business side of things, how professional and accommodating you guys were. Since this is an event we hadn't done before and we were only doing once, we were a little out of our element on the planning side of things. You guys were easy and professional in every way. I don't think you need our endorsement to secure any business or anything but we definitely will have nothing but good things to say about our experience with you guys. Thank you so much for playing at our wedding! We just got back from our honeymoon and both of us could not stop talking about how amazing you guys were! All our friends kept coming up to us all night congratulating us on having such a great band! Honestly probably one of my favorite parts about the whole day! You guys were so much fun! We will for sure be recommending you to everyone we know and really hope we get to see you guys perform again! I posted that to the bands website over a year ago and it still stands! I still have so many friends come up to me gushing about how awesome the band was! They were by far one of the best parts of the night! So much fun to have! SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Hey Ian!! Thank you guys so much for playing our wedding reception! Everyone absolutley loved you guys! Everyone was talking about how your band made our reception the best they had been to! So thank you for that and for celebrating our wedding with us! Not only did you play our wedding reception, you also booked a show in our hometown of Toluca, il in the beer tent!!! You always impress every crowd!!!! Professional, accommodating, kind, and a great group of people to be around!!! The shenanigans are the perfect band for any event!! Highly recommend!!!!

The Shenanigans made our wedding reception the most amazing night of our lives. Our guests are still talking (almost a year later) about how wonderful they were. All we could have asked for was to have the dance floor packed the whole time and they did that for us. They play to all ages that are present at a wedding which makes all people happy and dancing! It was a pleasure working with them. There is no question as to why The Shenanigans are the #1 band in the Springfield area

As a wedding planner in Central Illinois it is not always easy to find a professional, reasonably priced band. I have been so glad to form a relationship with and recommend The Shenanigans. They will get your guests onto the dance floor and keep the party lively until the end. Ian is also great to work with on event preparation. He replies to emails and phone calls quickly and is always on time. From a planner's perspective these qualities are equally as important as rockin' the house!
