The Shiloh

The venue was beautiful. The food was great. I was out of town planning the wedding and they made it pretty easy and were able to work with my schedule

New ownership. Not the good ol' Shiloh it used to be.

Beautiful place. Went there for wedding, reception, cake, open bar, and catering. Wedding outside, be sure every time you go on, make sure they write down everything you want. DJ they have extra cost for outside, they don't tell you until month before. Reception, if you want a couples table, even if they say it is going to be on stage, it'll be on the dance floor. If you tell them you want it moved before dancing, it won't. Gotta be on them. Stemware was dirty on guest tables too. Decorations were pretty though. Cake: make sure ito the exact picture you want. Give them 2-3 pictures, something will be wrong. "Oh but they can fix it,right? " nope. They get the cake done RIGHT before wedding where you have no time to even tell them they messed up. Good tasting though. Bar: they tell you an open bar will charge guests for beer, free pop, then free beer for you (since your the one footing out all the money). Wrong. $1 pop, then first liquor (which they give you to try) is free. Or only first $100 free. I got told both,them they didn't even know how many times I was up they're so tried adding a drink. Positive thing: card and cash. Finally the catering. Great delicious food. But again make sure they understand and write down what you want. I wanted 2 entrees, 3 sides, 2 appetizers, then an additional dessert besides the cake. They forgot 1 side, didn't care to charge me for the appetizers and dessert until 5 days before wedding, when I expected to pay under $50, thinking I was paid up after that, for them to add another $300 in the mix. "You added it". 3 months ago! Good quality food, pretty decorations, convenient since they do it all. But you gotta be firm and repeating yourself every step of the way. They will add charges or be vague otherwise. They do not do photography, though first visit they mentioned they did. Overall review: 3 stars, for they had good things as well as bad. Irritated, but endgame marriage was accomplished, and guests think it was great (though you know what went wrong.) Just be careful.

I had my wedding reception here this past summer, and Dana was so sweet and great to work with. The Shiloh is great because they do it all for you - the food, the cake, the decor, etc. It was much less stressful being able to trust them to do the decorating, and it turned out beautiful. Better than I even imagined. The food was also amazing, and the cake was great. I highly recommend this place for any wedding reception!
