I will stand by The Shiloh being the best wedding venue! It has the most beautiful views and space! Hannah was more than helpful throughout the whole process. Having access to so m...
uch decor, tables, and chairs was so helpful as well. I could not recommend The Shiloh more!
The venue was beautiful. The food was great. I was out of town planning the wedding and they made it pretty easy and were able to work with my schedule
New ownership. Not the good ol' Shiloh it used to be.
Beautiful place. Went there for wedding, reception, cake, open bar, and catering. Wedding outside, be sure every time you go on, make sure they write down everything you want....
DJ they have extra cost for outside, they don't tell you until month before.
Reception, if you want a couples table, even if they say it is going to be on stage, it'll be on the dance floor. If you tell them you want it moved before dancing, it won't. Gotta be on them. Stemware was dirty on guest tables too. Decorations were pretty though.
Cake: make sure ito the exact picture you want. Give them 2-3 pictures, something will be wrong. "Oh but they can fix it,right? " nope. They get the cake done RIGHT before wedding where you have no time to even tell them they messed up. Good tasting though.
Bar: they tell you an open bar will charge guests for beer, free pop, then free beer for you (since your the one footing out all the money). Wrong. $1 pop, then first liquor (which they give you to try) is free. Or only first $100 free. I got told both, them they didn't even know how many times I was up they're so tried adding a drink. Positive thing: card and cash.
Finally the catering. Great delicious food. But again make sure they understand and write down what you want. I wanted 2 entrees, 3 sides, 2 appetizers, then an additional dessert besides the cake. They forgot 1 side, didn't care to charge me for the appetizers and dessert until 5 days before wedding, when I expected to pay under $50, thinking I was paid up after that, for them to add another $300 in the mix. "You added it". 3 months ago!
Good quality food, pretty decorations, convenient since they do it all. But you gotta be firm and repeating yourself every step of the way. They will add charges or be vague otherwise. They do not do photography, though first visit they mentioned they did.
Overall review: 3 stars, for they had good things as well as bad. Irritated, but endgame marriage was accomplished, and guests think it was great (though you know what went wrong.) Just be careful.
I had my wedding reception here this past summer, and Dana was so sweet and great to work with. The Shiloh is great because they do it all for you - the food, the cake, the decor,...
etc. It was much less stressful being able to trust them to do the decorating, and it turned out beautiful. Better than I even imagined. The food was also amazing, and the cake was great. I highly recommend this place for any wedding reception!
This is a great place to have your wedding reception! They make it so easy by having the venue, cater, cake, DJ, and bar all in one. They also do decor. We chose to do our own whic...
h they are totally fine with that as well. The food was so good. My favorite was the BBQ beef brisket! I did not see example pictures of the cake before the wedding, but the cake was so much better than I had imagined! There is so much space for everyone to mingle, dance, and have a great time!
The Shiloh was great! They helped make our special day perfect! The service was great! We have had so many compliments from guests on the decorations, cake and especially the food!...
! We are very pleased and will defiantly recommend them to anyone!
Smothered chicken and Chianti Ziti was unbelieveable and fed close to 400 people. The food was warm for everyone and there was plenty for everyone to eat until they were full.
I had a few issues with them with not getting a couple things right but when the day came and I pointed out the issue it was quickly changed and everything turned out great and was...
beautiful!! Loved it all and would recommend anyone to go there for their own wedding :)
We did everything through The Shiloh, food, cake, decor. Service was great and everything was very nice. Only complaint would be have two bar tenders, but the one did a good job.
Dana was excellent to work with to make our day the best it could be.
While my overall wedding turned out great, it was a mess along the way. The building on the outside is not at all attractive, but the inside was nice and they seemed affordable. We...
met with their coordinator Tracy and she was great! They cater and also offer a great decoration package. However, three months before the wedding, they fired our wonderful coordinator! After that, everything went downhill. Everything we had worked out with Tracy had to be re-worked out with the new coordinator. When we recieved the estimate...it was thousands of dollars over what we had talked about with Tracy. With a very tense meeting with the owner, he came down to out price with a few sacrifices on our part. The owner was rude and the coordinator was an idiot. No one came to the wedding rehearsal, the spilled drinks on my guests, the servers were very poorly dressed, and the owner is EXTREMELY RUDE! Believe me when I say, that overall my wedding was a success, but they receive NO CREDIT. I would never recommend them to anyone.
