The Hielkema's spared no detail and were very flexible and kind to boot. Yes - you can definitely find photo booths for cheaper that will instantly print out a photo strip and/or send to your mobile device, but then you are missing out on the experience that is The Shooting Comet and the heart and passion behind its operation: The Hielkema's.

oting Comet made it a night we will never forget! They made an awesome photo book, filled with all the photos taken during the night, and above was a space for guests to write a little message. Such a creative way to experience the guests’ memories during the party. My daughter loved reading all the sweet and humorous messages at the end of the night. During our event, it was raining but they made sure our party was still incredible. Outside, one of the owners waited with an umbrella and escorted those about to get their photo taken to the camper to make sure they did not get wet. It was so much fun and such a joy to see my daughter and guests laughing in the camper as they put on silly hats and other costumes. to us after the wedding how much they loved the Photo Booth. Having the album to look at the day after the wedding was so special, you get to enjoy seeing all of your guests having fun and have something to look at while you wait for your photographers photos to come in.
We got married at Townsend Park and the little camper fit right in at the venue. Trish was so accommodating with the set up timing and communicated very clearly ahead of the wedding. I loved the feature on their website where you can see what days are already booked and they had such prompt response times after my initial inquiry was sent. Both of them were so kind and personable, very fun people to have around for your wedding day!

pect an email or a call from her on any given day, it was always true. I felt like I had to do a little micro-managing with some of our vendors, but never did I feel that way with Trish. I just put it in her hands and stepped away - so very appreciated!
On the day of our daughter’s wedding, Trish and Dan arrived exactly at the time promised, and went about setting up without needing anything from us. It was so seamless and easy. It was so fun to step outside of the venue over a few hours that evening and glance over to see people crowding around the camper, laughing, and trying on hats and props and engaging with Trish and Dan. It was all abuzz! Everyone was SO INTO IT.
Every guest received a strip of their pics, right on the spot. Trish presented my daughter and new son-in-law with a very adorable keepsake book, where everyone had a pic strip mounted in it and had written a little note or wishes near their individual strips. It meant so much to my daughter, and she enjoyed looking at it often in the days following the wedding. It was sentimental for her to look back at the happy, smiling faces that shared that magical night with them.
Would recommend over and over again - it was the best!!

mmodating, I decided to book last minute (literally a week before) and they made it happen even with their daughters open-house happening the next day. They had a personalized album ready for us at the end of night and all the digital photos sent to me within days after the wedding. Super impressed. I highly recommend booking this adorable trailer, you won’t regret it.
