tion with the band was easy. The band was sent up and ready before the ceremony, and the mics and music for the ceremony were exactly the right volume. Once the reception started, the band played exactly the right type of songs for every ebb and flow of the night. So many of our guests came up to us to compliment the band and let us know how talented and fun they were. The volume was a happy medium, allowing those wanting to dance and jam out and those wanting to sit at the tables and talk to do so. The band didn't play the top song on our "must play" list, but their energy and talent for the rest of the night made up for this little error. Overall, I would recommend The Significant Others to anyone and everyone that needs a live band for their event.

hird song, I had people coming up to me all night asking “Where did you find this band?!?! They are SO GOOD!” I’m talking everyone LOVED THEM - young, old, just everyone. I was especially impressed with how they were so cognizant of the “flow” of the reception. For the first hour when people were eating and chatting, they played a perfect mix of fun but not too loud or distracting music. But all the guests were still very focused on how good they were. And then they cranked it up for the remainder of the reception and we danced and partied for the rest of the evening. The dance floor was packed for the rest of the night. It was a total blast!! I have to say I have never been to a wedding reception where the guests were applauding and hooting after every song - it was like we were at a concert! And their song selection - perfection. Just SO FUN!! They had great stage presence and honestly, they made the reception! We could not have been more pleased with their performance. We are so glad we picked them!

nd was amazing, and I have to say I agree 1000%. They made the transition from romantic ceremony (with a beautiful acoustic guitar set add-on) to lively dinner to full-on dance party seamless and so, so enjoyable. We chose them because their setlist included some of the classic wedding favorites that we knew our generationally diverse guestlist would enjoy, but also because they perform a significant amount of the songs from our indie darling youth, which made them feel more "us". We were sad to end the night but they played us out with an encore that had everyone jumping around, sweaty, and happy! Absolutely hire this band if you are getting married, they are worth every penny!

ve gone with a better band. They totally had the party going and all the guests were raving about them afterwards. I can’t say enough about how happy I am we hired them. We opted for the extra sax player which was such a fun little twist. They played a great, mellow dinner set, and then knew just when to get the party going. I would highly recommend them!

ad dancing to them at our wedding! I was a little unsure of what to expect as we had never seen them in person prior to booking them for our wedding, but I was blown away! They had selected the most amazing set list and timed the songs perfectly to get everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. We were able to give a couple of genres that we liked, and trusted them to do the rest...and we were not disappointed! I could not have had more fun if I tried and the reason people are still talking about our wedding is because of this awesome band. I recommend them to everyone that asks and if you are on the fence between band and DJ, i can assure you that this band is worth every penny and will make your wedding unforgettable!

he whole night. At the end of the night everyone was asking them to play one more song..... which they did! I had a family member request a song and they found me to ask if it was okay. They knew what kind of music we liked and wanted to make sure we were okay with something different playing. The Significant Others are awesome and going to recommend them for events coming up!

My uncle even said he wanted to learn to dance after seeing how much fun everyone was having. They learned a song for us and it was better than the original. Book them--you won't regret it.

Their musical talent, stylistic range, depth of set list, flexibility and ease to work with made them the cornerstone of our reception- our guests could not stop raving about them, and even requested an encore. The band learned a favorite tune of ours for the first dance, and even DJ'd the cake cutting when my Ipod went defunct. Above all else, they are a top notch group of professional guys who can customize the style, energy, and feel for any wedding- no matter your taste. We, and our guests, were overjoyed that this versatility offered us both "Mom and Dad's" slow-song favorites, as well as the newer indie pop dance anthems of our friends. If the objective of your wedding reception is to entertain and have fun, which ours was, book these guys. Not your average wedding band- I look forward to seeing them perform again.

pitch perfect duet with one of our guests! And because our wedding was in Savannah, GA I had at least three guests ask me, "Where did you find these guys!?" I sincerely hope I see them play again. We could not have asked for a better performance. Thank you to everyone for making our big day so special.
