Luckily, Sarah was the first photographer I inquired with and one of the BEST decisions we made!! She was such a joy to work with, super understanding when we postponed our wedding date, and made us both very comfortable in front of the camera! Our wedding photos are AMAZING!!! Her and her assistant captured everything so perfectly and beautifully. The entire album is like reliving the whole day over again, which is exactly what we wanted! I cannot recommend Sarah enough!! We are so thankful to have found her and still cannot believe she was our photographer. I'm so impressed with Sarah's work and even more with her flexibility and support. Sarah was booked during my original wedding date so as soon as we moved it, I knew I wanted to make sure she was one of the first vendors I locked in. She was communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. I loved during the engagement and bridal portraits she was great at showing us the pose she wanted and directing us. After my bridal portraits were rescheduled 3 different times, she was more than willing to be flexible and gave me such a quick turnaround so I could get some of them printed for the wedding. She also got my wedding photos back quickly too. Her photos are gorgeous and she really knows what she is doing. I'm so happy with her and her team!

From engagement to wedding photos Sarah and her team are simply the best. Once we saw her dedication and the photos of our engagement session, we knew Sarah had to be our wedding photographer and we were glad she was. I tested positive for covid-19 a week before our wedding we were forced to reschedule and Sarah couldn’t of been more supportive and understanding. Yall, Sarah was absolutely AMAZING. She was prompt, professional, knew exactly where to be and what shots were the most important. She made you feel so comfortable in front of the camera which led to the most perfect "candid" shots. We got our photos back SO FAST I was shocked and cried all over again going through the whole gallery. They are beautifully edited and captured the day so perfectly. Photography was so important to us and we could not be happier with our wedding photos. Even after the wedding was over and I had all the photos, I worked with Sarah on our wedding photo album included in the package we got. She was still so quick on responses and updating my changes. Now I have a beautiful linen photo album on our coffee table that makes me smile everything I look at it. I look forward to using her on future events!

Sarah is very easy to work with. Her responses are always prompt, and she's a tremendous help on the wedding day itself. I'm probably one of the most scattered brain brides there is, and Sarah saved the day by making sure I get my dress and ring photos pre-ceremony. After the wedding, Sarah's commitment to her customers shine through again. The USB and photo box she sent us somehow got lost in the mail. I was perfectly happy with downloading the photos from the online website myself. However, Sarah insisted on sending the items again. When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding day, I wanted to make sure I could find the best. It was super important to me that my photos turned out perfect, since you only get to do this day once. I looked at about 20 photographers online, and The Silhouette Studio with Sarah was by far the best. She did not disappoint and captured so many moments that could not be replicated so perfectly. Examples like walking down the isle with my father, the first kiss as husband and wife, the first dance.. moments that you can't be restage again. On top of that, she got the photos to us so quickly! They are everything I wanted and then some. I look forward to using her for other events in the future.

My husband, family and I have nothing but great things to say about Sarah and her photography skills! My florist recommended her to me for obvious reasons - she is 110% professional, talented, easy to work with and down right a good person! The entire process was seamless and she really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I am a sucker for detail and Sarah captured it all. Sarah takes the MOST beautiful photos! They are truly magazine worthy. We are extremely happy with how our's turned out. She made us feel very comfortable and the pictures look very natural. One of the best decisions I made about wedding day was choosing Sarah as our photographer. I have loved her work for a while and knew when my day came, I wanted her to capture it. I love my wedding photos! I’m so excited. This was so important to me as we didn’t have any other form of documentation. Sarah is so talented! I never felt awkward or forced. I have a great mix of artistic shots, details, traditional, posed, candid, everything. I have it all and I’m so excited to be able to look back on these forever! I booked the package with a second shooter and glad I did! Every moment was captured and allowed for more diverse photos! Communication was easy, and when my bridal were rained out Sarah worked with me to book a session post wedding at her property where my husband and I got to have a whole other photo shoot!

Sarah is so sweet and was so great to work with. And to top it off her photos are stunning! She was able to completely capture our special day and all of the little details! I could not suggest Sarah more as a wedding photographer!! She takes breathtaking photos, is incredibly professional and easy to get along with. She has incredible "little touches" as a photographer that make the experience that much more amazing. I would've invited her to my wedding if she wasn't my photographer. Sarah was one of our favorite vendors! She was amazing to work with, always accommodating, and very quick to answer our emails. We loved, loved, loved the pictures from our engagement photo session that we did with her on her property in Lufkin! It has taken me way too long to write this review, which is ridiculous considering how wizard like Sarah is with everything she does. Sarah is prompt, professional, on-point, and incredibly talented. But, more than that she's fun, and easy to be around, she makes you feel comfortable. My husband and I are not really "in front of camera" people, but Sarah managed to make us feel at ease and happy and (if nothing else) make the pictures look beautiful. Sarah is also a wizard. We got our pictures back SO QUICKLY. I got my pictures back from my wedding in April before some of my friends that got married last fall. They're edited, there are a ton of them, they're beautifully shot. You can tell she loves what she does. You can really see it in the way she cares for you. My husband and I are both facebook friends with her now, she's fun and good and wants to make that connection with people...and that's why her pictures are beautiful. None of my guests had anything but good things to say about her, everybody loves my pictures. She also seems to have a reputation for being talented and easy to work with, which was very important to me. We booked Sarah before we booked our wedding planner, and when we told our wedding planner that we had booked Sarah, she was happy and relieved. Pictures were the most important thing to us in our wedding (besides the wedding) and we have no regrets about hiring Sarah. It is absolutely worth reaching out to her.

The Silhouette Studio delivered the most breathtaking photographs I have ever seen for our engagement session, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. The work simply speaks for itself, but there are so many additional attributes of this specific photographer that contribute to the many high quality ratings she has so rightly earned. Most importantly, her professionalism is unmatched. She kept our wedding timeline completely on track while capturing each and every precious memory in a way that did not take away from enjoying those moments. Our package included our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding, and every session produced the most wonderful photos that we will treasure forever. Her style is natural, romantic, and authentic, not highly stylized and over-posed, which I so appreciated. She listened to everything we wanted on the wedding day and was able to get great candids, formal portraits, and dance shots. I can't speak highly enough of her talent! It's hard to put into words what Sarah and The Silhouette Studio has meant to me throughout our wedding experience. From the second I contacted her, she was friendly and helpful! I can not say one bad word about Sarah! She did a fantastic job with our photos! I love her style of photography and editing that is why I wanted her for our big day and she did not disappoint. She is super sweet and kept us on time throughout the day. I am a very shy person when it comes to taking pictures but she was able to direct me on the poses and she made me feel really comfortable. We first met Sarah when she was shooting a close friend's wedding. We LOVED her work so we hired her for our older daughter's wedding a few months later. WOW! She did such an amazing job capturing the day...every little detail! So of course when our youngest daughter began planning her own wedding, who else would we call on but Sarah! Sara did an engagement photo shoot with one of my friends a few years ago that I fell in love with. So when it was my turn for the big day and all that was associated with it, I had to get in contact with Sara. She did an amazing job on our engagement photos and even traveled several hours to make it happen and my bridals turned out even better! By the time the big day arrived, she wowed us again! She even showed up wearing one of our wedding colors on accident :) She is very profession and helps make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our day of pictures turned out great and we are super happy with everything Sara did for us!!

I truly can’t say enough about what an incredible photographer Sarah is! My husband Joe and I got married in April of this year and, although we live in Buffalo, NY, got married in Cleveland, OH. To most people it wouldn’t seem natural that we would choose a photographer from Texas, but in all honestly, was hands down one of the easiest decisions we made in the planning process. I graduated from design school with Sarah over 6 years ago and knew that if her photography was anything like her design work, she would definitely not disappoint. I can honestly say that the photos Sarah took for both our engagement and our wedding far surpassed anything I could have ever dreamed of. They are absolutely breathtaking! As a designer myself, I am an extremely detail-oriented person and our wedding had a TON of details. However, there was no specific list I gave Sarah outlining everything I wanted a photograph of. I knew and trusted that she would do an amazing job and left it all in her hands. I can tell Sarah puts everything she has into her work. I don’t know how she did it, but she managed to capture EVERY moment, EVERY emotion, and EVERY detail of our wedding day. She didn't miss anything. She is incredibly detail-oriented and organized which made taking photos so much fun and stress free. Not once did we have to think about what to do because she already had everything planned out and was there to guide us the entire time. To me, the photographer you choose is one of THE most important decisions in your wedding planning process. Yes, the venue, the food, and the music are important, but your photographer is the person who captures all those memories for you. Every time I look at our wedding photos it immediately brings me back to that day and all the emotions. No one else can do that. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Sarah and The Silhouette Studio every time! The only thing I would change is that she lives closer to us so she can capture the rest of our life’s moments as our family expands!

Our engagement and wedding pictures were breath taking. Sarah captured all the right moments. She really is talented. My pictures were everything I dreamed they would be. My husband and I received so many great compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful our wedding pictures are. Not to mention I received a sneak peak of my wedding pictures while on my honeymoon and 1-2 weeks later I had 250+ pictures! The Silhouette Studio was easy to work with, from start to finish. We wanted to find a wedding photographer who was balanced. Non-obrtusive, yet photojournalistic and able to take command when needed. Sarah did just that. Her ease in stressful situations completely diffused any issues day of. She had a constant smile on her face and was able to wrangle our family and bridal party to efficiently take photos, yet allow us to create memories while doing so. While looking for a wedding photographer, Sarah was the first and only photographer that we talked to. I could tell right away that her style was exactly what I dreamed about for our wedding and engagement pictures. I would constantly look at her blog, Instagram, Facebook etc. for new photos of her amazing work and couldn’t wait for it to be our day! We fell in love with our engagement photos…especially the ones that included our 2 dogs. Since they are getting old, it’s so special to have such sweet photos of them. I also jumped at the opportunity to do a mini-session boudoir shoot when Sarah offered it. The location, a loft in downtown Houston, was amazing and she made me feel so comfortable. The photos are so classy and made a great gift for my groom. Since our wedding was less than a week ago, I’m anxiously awaiting our wedding photos, but Sarah was great the day of the wedding. She was always calm yet could demand our bridal party and families in a quick and efficient manner. I would book The Silhouette Studio again in a heartbeat! Not only is Sarah an outstanding photographer (I envy her skills so much!), but she is such a lovely person inside and out.

Sarah is by the far the best photographer I have ever encountered in my lifetime. I have booked her 4 separate times now and cannot wait to not only book more sessions with her but share my growing/changing life with her. She is definitely the only person I want handling any of my photos from family sessions to boudoir to wedding. Sarah uses natural lighting and is a wizard with editing. 5 stars for this amazing photographer! Sarah made me feel SO comfortable on my wedding day. She took amazing pictures and was very productive with her time! Sarah had previously done my sisters wedding a year before mine and we were so pleased we had to ask her back! I received my pictures shortly after returning home from our honeymoon and I was thrilled! She seemed to capture every moment perfectly! Our wedding day definitely wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her!

i have no idea where to begin! we're so happy with our choice of photographer and are so grateful with the images of our wedding day! my now husband and i were living in texas and planning a wedding in pennsylvania. after searching the knot and yelp for countless reviews, i found the silhouette studio and FELL IN LOVE with sarah's photos. i was not a fan of the 'cookie cutter, forced posed' photos and her photos were far from that. they were so natural and the way her camera caught the light....stunning! we first hired the silhouette studio to shoot our engagement photo session and loved the way they turned out. so we flew her out to pennsylvania to shoot our wedding!! Sarah was so easy to work with, when we emailed her -which was a few times :) - we'd hear back soon after. i was very pleased with her professionalism, creativity, the quality of her work and she was ***AFFORDABLE! she flew in and shot our wedding with energy, excitement, oh and with a baby bump, what a rockstar!!!! i would *highly, *highly recommend the silhouette studio. i would also give the silhouette studio 10 stars if the knot would let me :)

Sarah was great to work with! We met her in October 2013 as she also took our engagement photos and since then, she worked with me to organize our wedding website and plan the photo schedule for our wedding day, which was on May 31,2014. She had our wedding party and family pictures done in a matter of minutes so that everyone could get right to the reception. She even had pictures ready for us by the time we got back from our honeymoon...what incredible service! I couldn't imagine having anyone else capture our special day. Where do I even begin. Upon my first conversation with Sarah I could immediately feel her love of all things wedding, babies, and photography. When my husband and I went to our engagement session in March she immediately made us feel comfortable! This was huge because my husband is not a big picture guy and he had not been looking forward to it. We met her adorable family and fell in love with their kindness and warmth. Leading up to our wedding day I was nervous about Sarah's co-photographer taking our pictures instead. However when Natalie arrived and began to capture our big day she was so excited, which in turn made me excited! She really helped us enjoy our day and feel confident that she was capturing all our special memories that day. When we got our pictures back, in record time I might add, I was in love. Natalie had captured all the little moments I hoped she would. She captured our nieces in a priceless moment coming down the aisle, as well as several with us. In the end she managed to put all the little things on film, all the small moments that made our day special. The most memorable one for me is one of my Dad when he saw me for the first time that day. Those are memories of a life time.
